Від Марка 12
1 І почав їм приповістями промовляти: Виноградник насадив чоловік, і обгородив тином, і викопав виноточу, й збудував башту, й передав його виноградарям, тай від'їхав.
And He began to speak unto them in parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and made a fence about it, and digged a place for the wine-fat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and travelled abroad.
2 І післав до виноградарів у пору слугу, щоб у виноградарів узяв овощу винограднього.
And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that he might receive from them of the fruit of the vineyard:
3 Вони ж, ухопивши його, били, та й відослали впорожні.
and they took him and beat him, and sent him away empty.
4 І знов післав до них иншого слугу, та й на того кидаючи каміннєм, пробили йому голову, й відослали зневаженого.
And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they threw stones, and wounded him on the head, and sent him away shamefully used.
5 І знов иншого післав, та й того вбили, й багато инших, одних побили, а других повбивали.
And again, he sent another; and him they killed: and many others, beating some, and killing others.
6 Ще ж одного сина мавши, любого свого, післав і його до них на останок, говорячи: Що посоромлять ся сина мого.
Having yet therefore one Son, his beloved, he sent him also at last unto them, saying, they will reverence my Son.
7 Виноградарі ж тиї казали між собою: Що се наслїдник; ходімо вбємо його, то й наше буде наслїдство.
But the husbandmen said to one another, this is the heir, Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.
8 І, взявши його, вбили, та й викинули геть із виноградника.
And they took him, and killed Him too, casting him out of the vineyard.
9 Що ж зробить пан виноградника? Прийде та й вигубить виноградарів, і дасть виноградник иншим.
What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy those husbandmen, and will let the vineyard to others.
10 Чи й писання сього не читали: Камінь, що відкинули будівничі, сей став ся головою угла?
And have ye not read this scripture, "The stone, which the builders refused, is become the head of the corner:
11 Від Господа стало ся се, й дивне в очах наших.
this was from the Lord, and it is marvellous in our eyes."
12 І шукали Його взяти, та лякались народу; зрозуміли бо, що до них приповість сказав; і зоставивши Його, пійшли.
And they sought to lay hands on Him, but they were afraid of the people; (for they knew that He spake the parable against them) and they left Him, and went away.
13 І посилають до Него деяких Фарисеїв та Іродиян, щоб Його піймати словом.
And they send to Him some of the pharisees, and of the Herodians to insnare Him in his discourse:
14 Вони ж, прийшовши, кажуть Йому: Учителю, знаємо, що праведний єси, й не дбаєш нї про кого, бо не дивишся на лице людей, а на путь Божий правдою наставляєш. Годить ся данину кесареві давати, чи нї? Давати нам, чи не давати?
and these, when they came, said to Him, Master, we know that thou art a man of truth, and carest for no man; for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to pay tribute to Cesar, or not? should we give, or should we not give?
15 Він же, знаючи їх лицемірство, рече їм: Що мене спокутуєте? Принесіть менї денария, щоб я бачив.
But He knew their hypocrisy, and said to them, Why do ye tempt me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.
16 Вони ж принесли. І рече їм: Чиє обличчє се й надпис? Вони ж сказали Йому: Кесареве.
So they brought one: and He saith to them, Whose is this image and inscription? And they said Cesar's.
17 І озвавшись Ісус, рече їм: Оддайте кесареве кесареві, а Боже Богові. І дивувались Йому.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Render then unto Cesar the things that are Cesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at Him.
18 І приходять Садукеї до Него, що кажуть: нема воскресення, та й питали Його, говорячи:
Then come the sadducees to Him, who say there is no resurrection;
19 Учителю, Мойсей написав нам, що, як у кого брат умре та зоставить жінку, а дітей не зоставить, дак щоб узяв брат його жінку його, й воскресив насіннє братові своєму.
and they asked Him, saying, Master, Moses, in his writings tells us, if any one's brother die, and leave a wife, and leave no children, that his brother shall take his wife, and raise up seed to his brother.
20 Сїм оце братів було; й перший узяв жінку, і вмираючи, не зоставив насїння;
Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife and died and left no seed;
21 і другий узяв її, та й він не зоставив насіння; і третій також так.
and the second took her, and died, and he left no seed neither; and the third likewise.
22 І брали її семеро, та й не зоставили насіння; остання з усіх умерла й жінка.
And all the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all died the woman also.
23 Оце ж у воскресенню, як воскреснуть, которого з них буде жінка? семеро бо мали її за жінку.
In the resurrection therefore, when they rise again, whose wife shall be of them; for all the seven had her to wife?
24 І озвавшись Ісус, рече їм: Чи не того ви помиляєтесь, що не знаєте писання, нї сили Божої?
And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, nor the power of God?
25 Коли бо з мертвих устануть, то нї женять ся, нї віддають ся, а будуть як ангели на небесах.
For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels in heaven.
26 Про мертвих же, що встають, хиба не читали в книзї Мойсейовій, як коло купини промовив до него Бог, глалолючи: Я Бог Авраамів, і Бог Ісааків, і Бог Яковів?
But as to the dead, that they are raised, have ye not read in the book of Moses, how God spake to him in the bush, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27 Не єсть Бог мертвих, а Бог живих. Ви оце вельми помиляєтесь.
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living: therefore ye do greatly mistake.
28 І пруступивши один з письменників, почувши їх перепитуваннє, і вбачаючи, що добре їм відповів, спитав Його: Котора перша з усїх заповідь?
And one of the scribes, who heard them disputing, seeing that He answered them well, came to Him and asked Him, Which is the chief commandment of all?
29 Ісус же відказав йому: Що перша з усїх заповідей: Слухай, Ізраїлю: Господь Бог ваш. Господь один єсть;
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, "Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is the one Lord,
30 і: Люби Господа Бога твого всїм серцем твоїм, і всією душею твоєю, і всією думкою твоєю, і всією силою твоєю. Оце перша заповідь.
and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength:" this is the first or chief commandment,
31 А друга подібна, така: Люби ближнього твого як себе самого. Більшої від сих иншої заповіди нема.
and the second is like it, even this, "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself:" there is no other commandment greater than these.
32 І каже Йому письменник: Добре, учителю; правду промовив єси, що один єсть Бог, і нема иншого, тільки Він;
And the scribe said unto Him, Truly, Master, thou hast spoke exceeding well; for there is one God, and there is no other beside Him.
33 і що любити Його всім серцем, і всією думкою, і всією душею, і всією силою, і любити ближнього, як себе самого, се більше нїж усї огняні жертви й посьвяти.
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole-burnt-offerings and sacrifices.
34 І вбачаючи Ісус, що він розумно відказав, рече йому: Не далеко єси від царства Божого. І ніхто нїколи не важив ся Його питати.
And Jesus seeing that he answered discreetly, said to him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no one dared any more to put questions to Him.
35 І озвавшись Ісус, глаголав, навчаючи в церкві: Як се кажуть письменники, що Христос син Давидів?
And Jesus spake and said, as He was teaching in the temple, How do the scribes say, that the Christ is the son of David?
36 Сам бо Давид промовив Духом сьвятим: "Рече Господь Господеві моєму: Сиди по правиці в мене, доки положу вороги твої підніжком ніг твоїх."
for David himself said by the holy Spirit, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
37 Сам оце ж Давид зве його Господем: звідкіля ж він син його? І багато народу слухало Його любо.
So that David himself calleth Him Lord: how then is He his son? And many of the people heard Him with pleasure.
38 І глаголав їм у науцї своїй: Остерегайтесь письменників, що люблять в шатах ходити, та витання на торгах,
And He said unto them as He was teaching them, Beware of the scribes, who love to walk in long robes, and salutations in public-places,
39 та перші сїдалища по школах, та перші місця на бенкетах;
and the chief seats in the synagogues, and uppermost places at feasts;
40 що жеруть доми удовиць, і задля виду довго молять ся. Сї приймуть ще тяжчий осуд.
who devour widows houses, and for a shew of religion make long prayers: these shall receive the heavier judgement.
41 І сівши Ісус навпроти скарбони, дививсь, як народ кидає гроші в скарбону. І многі заможні кидали по багато.
And as Jesus was sitting over against the treasury, He saw how the people threw money into the treasury, and many of the rich put in much;
42 І прийшовши одна вдовиця вбога, вкинула дві лепти, чи то шеляг.
and there came a poor widow and put in two mites, that is, a farthing.
43 І прикликавши учеників своїх, рече їм: Істино глаголю вам: Що вдовиця ся вбога більш усїх укинула, що кидали в скарбону.
And He called his disciples to Him, and saith unto them, Verily I tell you, that this poor widow has given more than all those who have cast into the treasury.
44 Усї бо з достатку свого кидали, ся ж з недостатку свого: все, що мала, вкинула, увесь прожиток свій.
For they all have contributed out of their abundance: but she out of her penury hath given all that she had, even her whole living.
