Від Луки 22
1 Наближало ся ж сьвято опрісноків, зване пасха.
And the feast of the unleavened bread, called the passover, was nigh.
2 І шукали архиєреї та письменники, як би погубити Його; боялись бо народу.
And the chief priests and scribes were seeking how they might kill Him; for they feared the people.
3 Ввійшов же сатана в Юду, на прізвище Іскариоцького, що був з числа дванайцяти.
And Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
4 І пійшовши говорив з архиєреями та воєводами, як Його зрадити їм.
And having gone away, he spoke with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might betray Him to them.
5 І зраділи вони, й вмовились йому срібла дати.
And they rejoiced, and promised to give him money.
6 І обіцяв ся, і шукав нагоди, щоб видати Його їм потай народу.
And he promised them, and was seeking an opportunity to deliver Him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
7 Прийшов же день опрісноків, як треба було колоти пасхове ягня.
And the day of the unleavened bread came, in which it behooved to slay the passover.
8 І післав Петра та Йоана, глаголючи: Йдіть та приготовте нам пасху їсти.
And He sent Peter and John, saying, Going prepare for us the passover, in order that we may eat it.
9 Вони ж сказали Йому: Де хочеш, щоб приготовити?
And they said to Him, Where do you wish that we may prepare it?
10 Він же рече їм: Ось, як увійдете в город, зустріне вас чоловік, глек води несучи. Йдіть слїдом за ним у господу, куди ввійде.
And He said to them, Behold, you having come into the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he is going.
11 І скажіть господареві дому: Каже тобі учитель: Де сьвітлиця, щоб дасху з учениками моїми їсти?
And say to the landlord, The Teacher says to thee, Where is the guest-chamber, where I may eat the passover with my disciples?
12 І той вам покаже гірницю велику застелену; там приготовте.
And he will show you a large upper room furnished: there prepare.
13 Пійшовши ж знайшли, як сказав їм, і приготовили пасху.
And having gone away, they found as He told them; and prepared the passover.
14 І, як настала година, сїв Він, й дванадцять апостолів з Ним.
And when the hour arrived, He sat down and the apostles along with Him.
15 І рече до них: Бажаннєм забажав я сю пасху їсти з вами, перш нїж прийму муки:
And He said to them, I desired with desire to eat this passover with you before I suffer: for I say to you,
16 глаголю бо вам: Що більш не їсти му її, доки сповнить ся в царстві Божому.
I eat this no more, until it may be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17 І, взявши чашу, й оддавши хвалу, рече: Прийміть се та поділить собі:
And receiving the cup, having given thanks, He said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves;
18 глаголю бо вам: Що не пити му вже від плоду винограднього, доки царство Боже прийде.
for I say to you, I shall from now drink no more from the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God may come.
19 І, взявши хлїб, та оддавши хвалу, переломив, і дав їм, глаголючи: Се єсть тїло моє, що за вас даєть ся. Се чинїть на мій спомин.
And taking bread, blessing it, He broke it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body given for you: do this in remembrance of me.
20 Так само й чашу після вечері, глаголючи: Ся чаша новий завіт у крові моїй, що за вас пролита буде.
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out in your behalf.
21 Та ось рука зрадника мого зо мною на столї.
Moreover behold, the hand of the one betraying me is with me at the table.
22 Син то чоловічий іде, як постановлено наперед, тільки ж горе чоловікові тому, що зрадить Його!
Indeed the Son of man goes, according to that which has been appointed: but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!
23 І стали вони перепитуватись між собою, хто б з них був, що се мав зробити.
And they began to inquire among themselves, who then of them is the one of them about to do this.
24 Постало і змаганнє між ними, хто з них здаєть ся бути більшим.
And there was a contention among them, which one of them seems to be the greater,
25 Він же рече їм: Царі в поган панують над ними, й ті що власть над ними мають, добродїяки звуть ся.
And He said to them, The kings of the Gentiles domineer over them; and those exercising authority over them are called Benefactors.
26 Ви ж не так: тільки ж найбільший між вами нехай буде як найменший, і хто старший - як слуга.
But you are not thus: but let the greater among you be as the younger; and the leader as the waiter.
27 Хто бо більший: хто за столом, чи хто послугує? хиба не хто за столом? я ж між вами, як слуга.
For which is the greater, he that sitteth at the table, or the waiter? is not the one sitting? but I am in the midst of you as the waiter.
28 Ви ж пробували зо мною в спокусах моїх.
But you are those who have remained with me in my temptations.
29 І я завітую вам, як завітував менї Отець мій, царство,
And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father appointed unto me,
30 щоб їли й пили за столом моїм у царстві моєму, і сидїли на престолах, судячи дванайцять родів Ізраїлевих.
in order that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and you shall sit upon thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31 Рече ж Господь: Симоне, Симоне, ось сатана жадав собі вас, щоб просівати, як пшеницю;
Simon, Simon, behold, Satan sought you out, to sift you as wheat:
32 я ж молив ся за тебе, щоб не поменшала віра твоя, і ти колись, навернувшись, утверди братів твоїх.
but I prayed for you, that your faith may not fail you: and thou, when having turned, strengthen thy brethren:
33 Він же каже Йому: Господи, з Тобою готов я і в темницю, і на смерть іти.
but he said to Him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee to prison and to death.
34 Він же рече: Глаголю тобі, Петре, не запів сьогодні півень, перш ніж тричі відречеш ся, що не знаєш мене.
And He said; I say unto thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
35 І рече їм: Як посилав вас я без сакви, й торбини, й обувя, чи чого недоставало вам? Вони ж казали: Нїчого.
Then He said to them, When I sent you without purse, and valise, and sandals, did you lack anything? And they said; Nothing.
36 Рече тодї їм; А тепер хто має сакву, нехай бере так само й торбину: а хто не має, нехай продасть одежу, та купить меч.
And He said to them; But now, let the one having a purse, take it, likewise also valise: and let the one having no sword, sell his cloak and buy one.
37 Глаголю бо вам, що ще й се написане мусить справдитись на менї: І з беззаконними полїчено його: бо все про мене сповняєть ся.
For I say unto you, that it behooves that which has been written to be perfected in me, this, And He was numbered with the transgressors: for indeed that which is concerning me has an end.
38 Вони ж сказали: Господи, ось мечів тут два. Він же рече їм: Доволі.
And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And He said to them, It is sufficient.
39 І вийшовши пійшов по звичаю нагору Оливну зійшли ж слїдом за Ним і ученики Його.
And having gone out, He departed, according to custom, into the Mount of Olives; and His disciples followed Him.
40 Прибувши ж на місце, рече їм: Молїть ся, щоб не ввійти в спокусу.
He being at the place, He said to them, Pray that you enter not into temptation.
41 А сам відступив од них, так як кинути каменем, і, приклонивши коліна, молив ся,
And He was separated from them about a stone's cast; and putting down His knees, continued to pray,
42 глаголючи: Отче, коли хочеш, мимо неси чашу сю від мене: тільки ж не моя воля, а Твоя нехай буде.
saying, Father, if this cup is willing to pass from me; moreover let not my will, but thine be done.
43 Явив ся ж Йому ангел з неба, підкріпляючи Його.
And an angel from heaven appeared unto Him, strengthening Him.
44 І, бувши в смертній боротьбі, ще пильнїще молив ся; був же піт Його як каплї крови, каплючі на землю.
And being in agony He continued to pray the more earnestly. And His sweat was like drops of blood falling down upon the ground.
45 І, вставши від молитви, й прийшовши до учеників своїх, знайшов їх сплячих від смутку,
And having risen from prayer, having come to His disciples, He found them sleeping on account of weariness,
46 і рече їм: Чого спите? уставши моліть ся, щоб не ввійшли в спокусу.
and He said to them, Why do you sleep? Arising pray, that you may not enter into temptation.
47 Ще ж Він промовляв, ось народ і званий Юда, один з дванайцяти, йшов поперед них. і приступив до Ісуса, поцілувати Його.
And He still speaking, behold, a multitude and the one called Judas, one of the twelve, was coming before them; and he drew near to Jesus to kiss Him.
48 Ісус же рече йому: Юдо, цілуваннєм Сина чоловічого зраджуєш?
And Jesus said to him, Judas, do you betray the Son of man with a kiss?
49 Бачивши ж ті, що коло Него, до чого доходить, казали Йому: Господи, чи вдарити нам мечем?
And those around Him seeing what was coming on Him, said, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
50 І вдарив один хтось із них слугу архиєрейського, та й відтяв йому ухо праве.
And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
51 І озвавшись Ісус, рече: Оставте аж до сього. І, приторкнувшись до уха його, сцїлив його.
And Jesus responding said, Hold on until this: and touching his ear, healed him.
52 Рече ж Ісус до прийшовших на Него архиєреїв і воєвод, і церковних старших: Як на розбійника ви прийшли з мечами та киями?
Jesus said to the high priests, and magistrates of the temple, and elders who were assembled to Him; You have come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs.
53 Як щодня був я з вами в церкві, не простягали рук на мене; та се ваша година й власть темряви.
I being daily with you in the temple, you reached not out your hands unto me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
54 Узявши ж Його, повели, й приведи Його в двір архиєрейський. Петр же йшов слідом оддалеки.
And taking Him, they led Him away, and led Him into the house of the chief priest. And Peter followed Him a long way off.
55 Як же запалили огонь серед двора та посїдали вкупі, сїв і Петр серед них.
And having lighted a fire in the midst of the court, and they sitting together, Peter was sitting in the midst of them.
56 Побачивши ж Його одна служниця, як сидів коло сьвітла, й, придивляючись на него, сказала: І сей з Ним був.
And a certain maidservant, seeing him sitting at the fire, and fixing her eyes on him, said, This man was with Him.
57 Він же одрік ся Його, кажучи: Жінко, не знаю Його.
And he denied Him, saying, Woman, I know Him not.
58 А згодя другий, побачивши його, сказав: І ти з них єси. Петр же каже: Чоловіче, нї.
And after a brief interval another seeing him, said, Truly, thou art one of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
59 І мало що не через одну годину, инший хтось ствердив, кажучи: Справді і сей з Ним був, бо й Галилеець він.
And about one hour having elapsed, a certain other man accosted him, saying, He was truly with Him: for he is a Galilean.
60 Каже Петр: Чоловіче, не знаю, що кажеш. І зараз, як ще говорив він, запіяв півень.
And Peter said, Man, I know Him not. And immediately, he yet speaking, the cock crew.
61 І обернувшись Господь, поглянув на Петра. І згадав Петр слово Господнє, як глаголав йому: Що перш ніж півень запіє, відречеш ся мене тричі.
And the Lord turning, looked upon Peter; and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He said to him, that, Before the cock shall crow thou shalt deny me thrice.
62 І вийшовши геть Петр, заплакав гірко.
And having gone out, he wept bitterly.
63 А чоловіки, що держали Ісуса насьміхались із Него, бючи.
And the men having Him, began to mock, beating Him,
64 І, закривши Його, били в лице Його, та й питали Його, кажучи: Проречи, хто вдарив Тебе.
and covering Him, they continued to ask saying, Prophesy, who is the one smiting thee.
65 І иншого багато, хуливши, казали на Него.
And blaspheming, they continued to speak many other things against Him.
66 А як настав день, зібралась старшина людська, та архиєреї і письменники, та й повели Його в раду свою І кажучи:
And when it was day, the eldership of the people was convened, and the chief priests and scribes, and they led Him into their sanhedrim.
67 Чи Ти єси Христос? скажи нам. Рече ж їм: Коли вам скажу, не пій-мете віри;
Saying, If thou art the Christ, tell us. And He said to them, If I may tell you, you will not believe:
68 коли ж і спитаю вас, не відповісте мені й не відпустите.
and if indeed I will ask you, you will not respond to me, or release me.
69 Від нинї сидїти ме Син чоловічий по правицї сиди Божої.
And from now the Son of man shall be sitting on the right hand of the power of God.
70 І сказали всі: То се Ти Син Божий? Він же до них рече: Ви кажете, що се я.
And all said, Art thou the Son of God? And He said to them, You say that I am.
71 Вони ж сказали: На що нам ще сьвідчення? Самі бо чули з уст Його.
And they said, Why have we yet need of testimony? for we heard from His own mouth.
