Псалми 87

1 Псалом синів Кореєвих. Пісня.

“A psalm of the sons of Korah.” His foundation is in the holy mountains;

2 Основи його – на горах святих. Господь любить ворота Сіону більше від усіх осель Якова.

Jehovah loveth the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3 Славне говорять про тебе, місто Боже! (Села)

Glorious things are said of thee, O city of God! (Pause)

4 Я нагадаю тим, хто знає мене, про Раав і Вавилон, ось Филистея і Тир із Кушем [казатимуть]: «Цей народився там».

“I name Egypt and Babylon among them that know me; Behold! Philistia, Tyre, and Ethiopia, —They also were born there.”

5 І про Сіон скажуть: «Такий-то й такий-то народився в ньому, і Сам Всевишній утвердить це [місто]».

And of Zion it shall be said, “Men of every nation were born there, And the Most High hath established her.”

6 Господь запише при переписі народів: «Цей народився там». (Села)

Jehovah, when he numbereth the nations, shall write, “These were born there!” (Pause)

7 Співаючи й пританцьовуючи, скажуть: «Усі мої джерела в тобі, [Сіоне]!»

Singers as well as dancers, —All my springs are in thee!
