Псалми 146

1 Алілуя! Хвали, душе моя, Господа!

Praise JAH. Praise Jehovah, my soul.

2 Буду Господа хвалити все життя моє, співатиму Богові моєму, поки живу.

While I live, I will praise Jehovah. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.

3 Не покладайте надії на [мужів] шляхетних, на людину, у якій немає порятунку.

Do not put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help.

4 Дух її виходить, і вона повертається в землю, – у той же день зникають усі її задуми.

His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.

5 Блаженний той, чия допомога – Бог Яковів, хто надію покладає на Господа, Бога свого,

Blessed is the one who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Jehovah his God,

6 Того, Хто створив небеса, землю, море й усе, що наповнює його, Хто вічно береже вірність Свою;

who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;

7 Того, Хто правосуддя чинить для пригнічених, дає хліб голодним. Господь звільняє в’язнів,

who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. Jehovah frees the prisoners.

8 Господь відкриває очі сліпим, Господь випростовує зігнутих, Господь любить праведних.

Jehovah opens the eyes of the blind. Jehovah raises up those who are bowed down. Jehovah loves the righteous.

9 Господь оберігає приходьків, сироту й вдову підтримує, а дорогу нечестивих викривлює.

Jehovah preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

10 Буде царювати Господь повіки, Бог твій, Сіоне, – з роду в рід. Алілуя!

Jehovah will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise JAH.
