Псалми 105
1 Славте Господа, кличте ім’я Його; серед народів звіщайте діяння Його!
Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his Name, Make known, among the peoples, his doings;
2 Співайте Йому, грайте для Нього, звіщайте всі чудеса Його,
Sing ye to him, Make ye music to him, Speak ye of all his wonders.
3 хваліться іменем Його святим! Нехай веселиться серце тих, хто шукає Господа!
Make your boast in his holy Name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.
4 Прагніть Господа й сили Його, шукайте обличчя Його завжди.
Search out Yahweh and his strength, Seek diligently his face at all times.
5 Пам’ятайте про чудеса Його, які Він здійснив, про знамення та суди Його.
Remember his wonders which he hath done, His portents, and the just decisions of his mouth.
6 О нащадки Авраама, слуги Його, сини Якова, Його обранці!
O ye Seed of Abraham—his servants, Sons of Jacob—his chosen ones:
7 Він – Господь, Бог наш; суди Його справедливі по всій землі.
Yahweh himself, is our God, Through all the land, are his just decision.
8 Він вічно пам’ятає Завіт Свій, слово, яке Він заповів для тисяч поколінь, –
He hath remembered, unto times age-abiding, his covenant, The word he commanded, to a thousand generations;
9 [Завіт], який Він уклав з Авраамом, і присягу Його Ісааку.
Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;
10 Він встановив його статутом для Якова, як Завіт вічний для Ізраїля,
And confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel, as a covenant age-abiding;
11 кажучи: «Тобі віддам Я землю Ханаану як долю вашого спадку».
Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, As your inherited portion;
12 Коли вони були людом нечисленним, незначним, і мешкали як приходьки на ній,
While as yet they were men easily counted, —A very few, and sojourners therein;
13 то мандрували вони від народу до народу, від одного царства до іншого племені.
And they wandered from nation to nation, From a kingdom, to another people.
14 Він не дозволяв нікому їх гнобити й докоряв за них царям:
He suffered no son of earth to oppress them, And reproved—for their sakes—[even] kings!
15 «Не чіпайте помазанців Моїх і пророкам Моїм не робіть зла».
Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.
16 Він накликав голод на землю, зламав стебло хлібне.
Then called he a famine over the land, All the staff of bread, he brake;
17 Послав перед ними чоловіка – у рабство був проданий Йосиф.
He sent before them a man, For a slave, was he sold—[even] Joseph;
18 Його ноги стисли кайданами, на шию йому наклали залізо,
They forced, into a fetter, his foot, Into the iron, entered his soul;
19 до того часу, поки не здійснилося сказане Господом, поки слово Господа не очистило його.
Until the time when his word came to pass, Speech of Yahweh, proved him;
20 Послав цар [слуг своїх] і розв’язав його; правитель народів звільнив його.
The king sent, and set him free, One having dominion over peoples, yet loosed he his bonds;
21 Він поставив його володарем над домом своїм і правителем над усім своїм майном,
He appointed him lord to his household, And one having dominion over all he possessed;
22 щоб він князів його міг стримувати на свій розсуд і старійшин його повчав.
That he might bind his rulers as he pleased, And, his elders, he might embue with wisdom.
23 Тоді прийшов Ізраїль до Єгипту, оселився Яків у землі Хамовій.
So Israel came into Egypt, And, Jacob, sojourned in the land of Ham;
24 І дуже розмножив [Бог] народ Свій і зробив його сильнішим від супротивників його,
And he made his people exceeding fruitful, —And caused them to become stronger than their adversaries.
25 чиї серця Він налаштував, щоб ненавиділи Його народ, щоб лукавили вони з Його рабами.
He let them turn their heart—To hate his people, To deal treacherously with his servants;
26 Він послав Мойсея, слугу Свого, і Аарона, якого обрав Собі.
He sent Moses his servant, Aaron, whom he had chosen.
27 Вони з’явили знамення Його серед них і чудеса – у землі Хамовій.
He set among them his threatening signs, And his wonders, in the land of Ham;
28 Він послав морок, і стало темно, і вони не посміли суперечити Його слову.
He sent darkness, and made it dark, But they rebelled against his words;
29 Він перетворив води їхні на кров і умертвив рибу в них.
He turned their waters into blood, And so caused their fish to die;
30 Закишіла земля їхня жабами, навіть у покоях царів їхніх [були вони].
Their land swarmed with frogs, In the chambers of their kings!
31 Він сказав, і прийшли рої мух, комарі були на всіх теренах їхніх.
He spake, and there came in the gad-fly, Gnats, in all their bounds;
32 Він дав їм замість дощу град, палючий вогонь – на землю їхню;
He made their showers—hail, A fire flaming throughout their land;
33 він побив у них виноград та смоковницю, зламав дерева в їхньому краї.
And he smote their vines, and their fig-trees, And brake in pieces the trees of their bounds;
34 Сказав Він, і прийшла сарана і гусінь – немає їм ліку!
He spake—then came the swarming locust, —The devouring locust, and that without number;
35 І з’їли вони всю траву в землі їхній, пожерли плоди їхніх ґрунтів.
And devoured all the herbage in their land, And devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 Тоді вразив Він усіх первістків у землі їхній – першоплоди сили чоловічої.
Then smote he every firstborn in their land, The beginning of all their strength;
37 І вивів Він ізраїльтян зі сріблом і золотом, не було серед племен їхніх того, хто спотикався.
Thus brought he them forth, with silver and gold, Nor was there, throughout his tribes, one that faltered;
38 Зрадів Єгипет, коли вони вийшли, бо страх напав на нього через них.
Egypt rejoiced when they went out, For the dread of them had fallen upon them.
39 Розгорнув [Бог] хмару, як покривало, [вдень], і вогонь, щоб світити вночі.
He spread out a cloud as a covering, And fire, to give light by night,
40 Просив [народ], і послав їм [Господь] перепілок і хлібом небесним наситив їх.
They asked, and he brought in the quail, —And, with the bread of the heavens, he satisfied them;
41 Відкрив Він скелю – і полилися води, потекли рікою в сухій землі.
He opened the rock, and there gushed forth waters, They flowed along, through parched places, as a river;
42 Бо згадав Він слово Своє святе, [що дав] Авраамові, слузі Своєму.
For he remembered his holy word, With Abraham his servant.
43 І вивів Він народ Свій у радості, обраних Своїх – із вигуком переможним.
Thus brought he forth his people with gladness, —With shouts of triumph, his chosen ones;
44 Він дав їм землі народів, і вспадкували здобутки праці їхньої,
And gave them, the lands of the nations, And, of the toil of the peoples, took they possession:
45 щоб вони дотримувалися Його постанов і берегли закони Його. Алілуя!
In order that they might observe his statutes, And, over his laws, might keep watch, Praise ye Yah.
