Від Луки 22
1 Наближалося свято Опрісноків, що зветься Пасхою.
Now the feast of unleavened bread, which is called the Passover, drew near.
2 Первосвященники та книжники шукали, як убити [Ісуса], але боялися народу.
The chief priests and the scribes sought how they might kill him, for they feared the people.
3 Тоді увійшов сатана в Юду, званого Іскаріот, що був із числа дванадцяти.
Satan entered into Judas, who was called Iscariot, who was numbered with the twelve.
4 Він пішов та зговорився з первосвященниками та начальниками храмової охорони, як видати їм [Ісуса].
He went away, and talked with the chief priests and captains about how he might deliver him to them.
5 Вони зраділи та обіцяли дати йому грошей.
They were glad, and agreed to give him money.
6 Юда погодився та шукав слушної нагоди, щоб Його видати без народу.
He consented, and sought an opportunity to deliver him to them in the absence of the crowd.
7 Настав день свята Опрісноків, коли належало принести пасхальну жертву.
The day of unleavened bread came, on which the Passover lamb must be sacrificed.
8 І надіслав [Ісус] Петра та Івана, кажучи: ―Ідіть та приготуйте для нас Пасху, щоб ми спожили.
He sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat."
9 Вони спитали: ―Де Ти хочеш, щоб ми приготували?
They said to him, "Where do you want us to prepare?"
10 Він відповів їм: ―Коли ввійдете в місто, вас зустріне чоловік, який нестиме глечик із водою. Ідіть за ним до дому, куди він увійде,
He said to them, "Look, when you have entered into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him into the house which he enters.
11 та скажіть господареві дому: «Учитель питає тебе: „Де кімната, у якій Я буду споживати Пасху з Моїми учнями?“»
Tell the master of the house, 'The Teacher says to you, "Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?"'
12 Він покаже вам нагорі велику прибрану кімнату – там і приготуйте.
He will show you a large, furnished upper room. Make preparations there."
13 Вони пішли й знайшли все саме так, як казав їм [Ісус], та приготували там Пасху.
They went, found things as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.
14 Коли настав час, [Ісус] з апостолами сіли за стіл.
When the hour had come, he reclined at the table, and the apostles joined him.
15 Він сказав їм: «Я дуже хотів їсти цю Пасху разом із вами перед Моїм стражданням.
He said to them, "I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,
16 Кажу вам: уже не їстиму її, доки вона не звершиться в Царстві Божому».
for I say to you, I will not eat of it again until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God."
17 І, узявши чашу та подякувавши Богу, сказав: «Візьміть її та поділіть між вами.
He received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, "Take this, and share it among yourselves,
18 Кажу вам: віднині не питиму більше з цього виноградного плоду, доки не прийде Царство Боже».
for I tell you, from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the Kingdom of God comes."
19 Потім узяв хліб та, подякувавши, розламав і дав їм, кажучи: «Це є тіло Моє, що за вас віддається. Чиніть це на згадку про Мене».
He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave to them, saying, "This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
20 Так само після того, як поїли, узяв і чашу, кажучи: «Ця чаша – Новий Завіт у Моїй крові, що проливається за вас.
Likewise, he took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
21 Однак рука того, хто зраджує Мене, зі Мною за столом.
But look, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table.
22 Бо Син Людський іде, як і було призначено, але горе тому чоловікові, через якого зраджено Його».
The Son of Man indeed goes, as it has been determined, but woe to that man through whom he is betrayed."
23 Вони почали питати один одного, хто з них міг би таке зробити.
They began to question among themselves, which of them it was who would do this thing.
24 Потім знялась між ними суперечка, хто з них найбільший.
There arose also a contention among them, which of them was considered to be greatest.
25 [Ісус] же сказав їм: ―Царі народів володіють ними, і тих, що керують ними, називають благодійниками.
He said to them, "The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called 'benefactors.'
26 Але ви не [будьте] такими! Навпаки: найбільший між вами нехай буде як найменший, і той, хто керує, [нехай буде] як слуга.
But not so with you. But one who is the greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.
27 Бо хто більший: той, що сидить за столом, чи той, хто прислуговує? Чи не той, хто сидить за столом? Я ж серед вас як слуга.
For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? But I am in the midst of you as one who serves.
28 Ви ті, що залишилися зі Мною в Моїх випробуваннях.
But you are those who have continued with me in my trials.
29 І Я заповідаю вам Царство, як Мені заповів Мій Отець,
I confer on you a kingdom, even as my Father conferred on me,
30 щоб ви їли та пили за столом у Царстві Моєму. Ви сядете на престолах, судячи дванадцять племен Ізраїля.
that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel."
31 Симоне, Симоне! Ось сатана просив просіяти вас, як пшеницю.
And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon, look, Satan has demanded to have you all, to sift you like wheat,
32 Але Я молився за тебе, щоб ти не загубив віри та після навернення зміцнив твоїх братів.
but I prayed for you, that your faith would not fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers."
33 Петро сказав Йому: ―Господи, з Тобою я готовий іти у в’язницю й на смерть.
He said to him, "Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death."
34 Але [Ісус] відповів: ―Кажу тобі, Петре, що півень ще не заспіває сьогодні, як ти тричі зречешся, що не знаєш Мене.
He said, "I tell you, Peter, the rooster will by no means crow today until you deny that you know me three times."
35 Потім промовив до них: ―Коли Я вас посилав без гаманця, без торби та взуття, чи бракувало вам чогось? Вони сказали: ―Нічого.
He said to them, "When I sent you out without money bag, and pack, and shoes, did you lack anything?" They said, "Nothing."
36 ―Але тепер хто має гаманець, нехай візьме його, так само й торбу; хто ж не має меча, хай продасть свій одяг та купить меч.
Then he said to them, "But now, whoever has a money bag must take it, and likewise a pack. Whoever has none, must sell his cloak, and buy a sword.
37 Кажу вам: на Мені має здійснитися те, що написано: «Його зараховано до злочинців». Бо все, що про Мене записано, збувається.
For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: 'And he was numbered with transgressors.' For that which concerns me has an end."
38 Вони сказали: ―Господи, дивись, у нас два мечі. Він відповів: ―Цього достатньо.
They said, "Lord, look, here are two swords." He said to them, "That is enough."
39 [Ісус], за своїм звичаєм, пішов на Оливну гору, і Його учні пішли за Ним.
He came out, and went, as his custom was, to the Mount of Olives. His disciples also followed him.
40 Дійшовши до того місця, Він сказав їм: ―Моліться, щоб не впасти в спокусу!
When he was at the place, he said to them, "Pray that you do not enter into temptation."
41 А Сам відійшов від них на відстань кинутого каменя, став на коліна та молився
He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and he knelt down and prayed,
42 кажучи: «Отче, якщо бажаєш, нехай ця чаша обмине Мене. Однак нехай буде не Моя воля, а Твоя».
saying, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."
43 Тоді з неба з’явився ангел та зміцнював Його.
And an angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.
44 В агонії Він почав молитися ще старанніше. І піт Його став, мов краплі крові, що падали на землю.
Being in agony he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.
45 Вставши від молитви, Він підійшов до учнів і знайшов, що вони заснули, [виснажені] смутком.
When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the disciples, and found them sleeping because of grief,
46 Він сказав їм: ―Чому ви спите? Прокиньтеся та моліться, щоб не впасти в спокусу!
and said to them, "Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation."
47 Коли Він ще говорив, ось підійшов натовп, і той, кого звали Юда, один із дванадцятьох, ішов перед ними. Він підійшов до Ісуса, щоб поцілувати Його.
While he was still speaking, look, a crowd came, and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He came near to Jesus to kiss him.
48 Ісус сказав йому: ―Юдо, ти поцілунком видаєш Сина Людського?
But Jesus said to him, "Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?"
49 Коли ті, що були з [Ісусом], побачили, що має статися, сказали: ―Господи, чи не вдарити нам мечем?
When those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said to him, "Lord, should we strike with the sword?"
50 І один із них [мечем] ударив раба первосвященника й відрубав йому праве вухо.
A certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
51 Але Ісус сказав: ―Облиште, досить! І, торкнувшись його вуха, зцілив його.
But Jesus answered and said, "No more of this." Then he touched his ear and healed him.
52 Потім Ісус звернувся до первосвященників, начальників храмової охорони та старійшин: «Ви вийшли [проти Мене], як проти розбійника, з мечами та киями, щоб заарештувати.
Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?
53 Щодня Я був із вами в Храмі, і ви не підняли на Мене рук, але зараз ваш час і влада темряви».
When I was with you in the temple daily, you did not stretch out your hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness."
54 Тоді вони схопили Його та привели в дім первосвященника. Петро ж ішов за ними на відстані.
They seized him, and led him away, and brought him into the high priest's house. But Peter followed from a distance.
55 Коли вони розклали вогонь посеред двору та сіли навколо, Петро також сів між ними.
When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard, and had sat down together, Peter sat among them.
56 Одна зі служниць, побачивши, що він сидить біля вогню, придивилася до нього пильно та промовила: ―І цей був із Ним!
A certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, "This man also was with him."
57 Але [Петро] заперечив кажучи: ―Я не знаю Його, жінко!
But he denied it, saying, "Woman, I do not know him."
58 Трохи пізніше хтось інший побачив його й сказав: ―Ти теж один із них! Але Петро відповів: ―Ні, чоловіче!
After a little while someone else saw him, and said, "You also are one of them." But Peter answered, "Man, I am not."
59 Близько години пізніше інший почав твердити кажучи: ―Справді, і цей був із Ним, бо він галілеянин.
After about one hour passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, "Truly this man also was with him, for he is a Galilean."
60 Петро відповів: ―Чоловіче, я не знаю, про що ти говориш! І тієї ж миті, коли він ще говорив, заспівав півень.
But Peter said, "Man, I do not know what you are talking about." Immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.
61 Господь, обернувшись, глянув на Петра. Тоді Петро згадав слова Господа, які Він сказав: «Перед тим, як сьогодні заспіває півень, ти тричі зречешся Мене».
The Lord turned, and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the Lord's word, how he said to him, "Before the rooster crows today you will deny me three times."
62 І, вийшовши геть, він гірко заплакав.
And he went out, and wept bitterly.
63 Люди, які охороняли [Ісуса], почали насміхатися з Нього та бити Його.
The men who held him began mocking and beating him.
64 Вони зав’язали Йому очі й питали кажучи: «Пророкуй! Хто Тебе вдарив?»
And having blindfolded him, they were striking his face and kept asking him, saying, "Prophesy, who is the one who struck you?"
65 І багато інших богохульств казали проти Нього.
They spoke many other things against him, insulting him.
66 На світанку старійшини народу, первосвященники та книжники зібралися разом і повели Його на свій Синедріон.
As soon as it was day, the council of the elders of the people gathered together, both chief priests and scribes, and they led him away into their council, saying,
67 Вони сказали: ―Якщо Ти – Христос, то скажи нам! [Ісус] відповів: ―Навіть якщо скажу, ви не повірите.
"If you are the Christ, tell us." But he said to them, "If I tell you, you won't believe,
68 І якщо Я спитаю вас, ви не відповісте.
and if I ask, you will not answer me, or let me go.
69 Але віднині Син Людський сидітиме праворуч від Всемогутнього Бога.
From now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God."
70 Тоді всі вони стали запитувати: ―То, значить, Ти – Син Божий? [Ісус] відповів: ―Ви самі кажете, що то Я!
They all said, "Are you then the Son of God?" He said to them, "You say that I am."
71 Тоді вони сказали: ―Навіщо нам потрібні свідчення? Ми чули це з Його вуст!
They said, "Why do we need any more witness? For we ourselves have heard from his own mouth."
