< Sakaria 5 >
1 Mehwɛɛ bio, na mehunuu nwoma mmobɔeɛ a ɛretu wɔ ewiem wɔ mʼanim!
Then again I looked up and saw a flying scroll.
2 Ɔbisaa me sɛ, “Ɛdeɛn na wohunu yi?” Mebuaa sɛ, “Mehunu nwoma mmobɔeɛ a ɛnenam ewiem a ne tenten yɛ anammɔn aduasa, na ne tɛtrɛtɛ nso yɛ anammɔn dunum.”
He said to me, “What do you see?” I answered, “I see a flying scroll; twenty cubits long, ten cubits wide.”
3 Na ɔka kyerɛɛ me sɛ, “Yei ne nnome a ɛreba asase yi so nyinaa; sɛdeɛ ɛfa baako kyerɛ no, wɔbɛpam ɔkorɔmfoɔ biara, na ɛfa baako nso kyerɛ sɛ, obiara a ɔka ntanhunu no, wɔbɛpam no.
Then he said to me, “This is the curse that goes over the whole land. Every thief will be banished according to the writing on one side and everyone who lies under oath shall be banished according to the writing on the other side.
4 Asafo Awurade pae mu ka sɛ, ‘Meresoma nnome yi na ɛbɛhyɛn ɔkorɔmfoɔ ne obiara a ɔde me din ka ntanhunu no fie. Ɛbɛka efie hɔ na asɛe ne nnua ne aboɔ.’”
I have sent it out, says the Lord of hosts, and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of anyone who swears falsely by my name. It will remain in the midst of his house and will consume it with its timber and its stones.”
5 Afei, ɔbɔfoɔ a na ɔne me rekasa no baa nʼanim bɛka kyerɛɛ me sɛ, “Ma wʼani so na hwɛ yei, deɛ ɛreba yi.”
Then the messenger who talked with me came forward, and said to me, “Look up and see what is now coming.”
6 Mebisaa sɛ “Ɛyɛ ɛdeɛn?” Ɔbuaa sɛ, “Ɛyɛ kɛntɛn a wɔde susu nneɛma.” Ɔtoaa so sɛ, “nnipa a wɔwɔ ewiase yi mu bɔne ahyɛ no ma.”
I said. “What is it?” He said, “It is a measuring basket, full of the guilt of the land.”
7 Afei wɔyii kɛntɛn no so sumpii mmuasoɔ no, na emu na na ɔbaa bi hyɛ!
A round leaden cover was lifted up, and there was a woman sitting in the middle of the basket.
8 Ɔkaa sɛ, “Yei yɛ atirimuɔdensɛm,” afei ɔkaa ɔbaa no hyɛɛ kɛntɛn no mu na ɔde sumpii mmuasoɔ no kataa no so.
He said, “This is Wickedness.” He thrust her down into the midst of the basket and he pushed the round leaden cover back on its mouth.
9 Afei, memaa me tiri so mehunuu mmaa mmienu a wɔwɔ ntaban te sɛ asukɔnkɔn de danedane wɔn ho wɔ ewiem. Wɔmaa kɛntɛn no so kɔɔ ewiem, ɔsoro ne asase ntam.
Then I looked up and saw two women, and the wind was in their wings. They had wings like the wings of a stork and they lifted up the basket between them.
10 Mebisaa ɔbɔfoɔ a na ɔne me rekasa no sɛ, “Ɛhe na wɔde kɛntɛn no rekɔ?”
Then I said to the messenger who talked with me, “Where are they taking the basket?”
11 Ɔbuaa sɛ, “Wɔde rekɔ Babilonia asase so akɔsi fie ama no. Na sɛ, wɔwie a, wɔde kɛntɛn no bɛkɔ akɔsi nʼafa.”
He said to me, “To build her a house in the land of Shinar. When it is prepared, they will rest the basket there.”
