< Sakaria 4 >
1 Afei, ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔne me kasaeɛ no sanee nʼakyi bɛnyanee me, sɛdeɛ wɔnyane obi firi ne nna mu no.
Then the messenger who talked with me came again and woke me, as someone who is woken from sleep.
2 Ɔbisaa me sɛ, “Ɛdeɛn na wohunu yi?” Mebuaa sɛ, “Mehunu kaneadua a wɔde sikakɔkɔɔ ayɛ a kuruwa si so, na nkanea nson a ebiara wɔ ne dorobɛn sisi so.
He said to me, “What do you see?” I said, “I see a candlestick, all of gold, with a bowl on its top, and seven lamps on it. There are seven pipes to each of the lamps, which are on its top,
3 Bio, ngo nnua mmienu sisi ho, baako wɔ kuruwa no nifa so, ɛna baako nso wɔ ne benkum so.”
and two olive trees next to it, one on the right side of the bowl, and the other on its left side.”
4 Mebisaa ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔne me kasaeɛ no sɛ, “Yeinom yɛ ɛdeɛn, me wura?”
I said to the messenger who talked with me, “What are these, my lord?”
5 Ɔbuaa sɛ, “Wonnim deɛ yeinom yɛ anaa?” Mekaa sɛ, “Dabi, me wura.”
Then the messenger who talked with me answered, “Don’t you know what these are?” And I said. “No, my lord.”
6 Enti ɔka kyerɛɛ me sɛ, “Yei ne Awurade asɛm a ɔde rekɔma Serubabel: ‘Ɛnyɛ tumi so, na ɛnyɛ ahoɔden nso so, na mmom, ɛnam me Honhom so,’ sɛdeɛ Asafo Awurade seɛ nie.
He said to me, “This is the message of the Lord regarding Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts,
7 “Woyɛ ɛdeɛn, Ao bepɔ kɛseɛ? Wobɛyɛ asase tamaa wɔ Serubabel anim. Afei ɔde aboɔ fɛfɛ no bɛba abɛhyia osebɔ sɛ, ‘Onyankopɔn nhyira so! Onyankopɔn nhyira so!’”
will I make the great mountain before Zerubbabel a plain. He will bring forth the top stones with shoutings of, ‘Grace, grace, to it.’”
8 Na Awurade asɛm baa me nkyɛn sɛ:
Moreover this message of the Lord came to me:
9 “Ɛnam Serubabel nsa so na wɔtoo asɔredan yi fapem, na ɛnam ne nsa so na wɔbɛwie. Na mobɛhunu sɛ, Asafo Awurade na wasoma me mo nkyɛn.
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands will also finish it. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.
10 “Hwan na ɔbu nneɛma nketenkete mfiaseɛ ɛda animtiaa? Sɛ nnipa hunu sɛ Serubabel kura kyirebenn susu ahoma no a, wɔn ani bɛgye. “(Saa ani nson yi yɛ Awurade ani a ɛhwɛ ewiase afanan nyinaa.)”
For who has despised the day of small things? They will rejoice, and will see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. (The seven lamps are the eyes of the Lord that search all around the world.)
11 Na mebisaa ɔbɔfoɔ no sɛ, “Saa ngo nnua mmienu no a ɛsisi kanea dua no nifa ne benkum no yɛ ɛdeɛn?”
Again I asked, “What are these two olive trees on the right side of the candlestick and on its left side?”
12 Na mebisaa no bio sɛ, “Ngodua mman mmienu a ɛhwie ngo a ani yɛ akokɔsradeɛ fa sikakɔkɔɔ dorobɛn mmienu no mu no yɛ ɛdeɛn?”
Again, “What are these two branches of the olive trees, which are pouring out the golden oil through the two golden pipes?”
13 Ɔbuaa sɛ, “Enti wonnim deɛ yeinom yɛ anaa?” Mebuaa sɛ, “Dabi, me wura.”
He answered me, “Don’t you now what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”
14 Nti ɔkaa sɛ, “Yeinom ne mmienu a wɔasra wɔn ngo sɛ wɔnsom Awurade a ɔdi ewiase nyinaa so.”
Then he explained, “They are the two anointed ones who attend the Lord of all the earth.”
