< Tito 3 >

1 Kae wo nkurɔfoɔ na wɔmmrɛ wɔn ho ase nhyɛ mpaninnie ne tumi ase na wɔntie wɔn na wɔnsiesie wɔn ho mma nnwuma pa biara.
Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and authorities, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 Ka kyerɛ wɔn sɛ wɔnnka asɛmmɔne mfa obi ho na mmom, wɔnnwo brɛoo na daa wɔnyi ɔdɔ adi nkyerɛ nnipa nyinaa.
To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3 Kane no, na yɛn ankasa yɛyɛ nkwaseafoɔ, asoɔdenfoɔ, ne abɔnefoɔ. Na yɛyɛ akɔnnɔ ne anigyeɛ ahodoɔ nkoa. Yɛsɛee yɛn abrabɔ wɔ bɔne ne anibereɛ ho. Afoforɔ tanee yɛn maa yɛn nso yɛtanee wɔn.
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 Nanso, ɛberɛ a yɛn Agyenkwa Onyankopɔn ayamyɛ ne ne dɔ daa adi no,
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 ɔgyee yɛn nkwa. Ɛnyɛ nnwuma pa bi a yɛayɛ enti, na mmom, ɔnam nʼahummɔborɔ mu ahohoro yɛn ho, agye yɛn nkwa, ama Honhom Kronkron no awo yɛn foforɔ ama yɛn nkwa foforɔ.
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Onyankopɔn nam Yesu Kristo a ɔyɛ yɛn Agyenkwa no so ahwie Honhom Kronkron no agu yɛn so
Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, nʼadom enti, yɛbɛyɛ daa nkwa no anidasoɔ ho adedifoɔ. (aiōnios g166)
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
8 Yei yɛ nokwasɛm. Mepɛ sɛ woti saa asɛm yi mu yie na ama wɔn a wɔgye Onyankopɔn di no ahunu sɛ, ɛsɛ sɛ wɔde wɔn berɛ di dwuma pa. Yeinom nyinaa yɛ, na ɛho wɔ mfasoɔ ma nnipa.
This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
9 Nanso, monnnye nkwasea akyinnyeɛ. Saa ara nso na monnto ana, nkasakasa, nko wɔ mmara so. Ɛho nni mfasoɔ biara.
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 Obi a ɔde mpaapaemu ba no, bɔ no kɔkɔ deɛ ɛdi ɛkan ne deɛ ɛtɔ so mmienu, na ɛno akyi no, te wo ho firi ne ho.
A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11 Ɛsɛ sɛ wohunu sɛ obi a ɔte saa no asɛe, na bɔne a ɔyɛ no da adi wɔ ne ho.
Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
12 Sɛ mesoma Artema anaa Tihiko wo nkyɛn a, bɔ mmɔden bra me nkyɛn wɔ Nikopoli, na ɛhɔ na mabɔ me tirim sɛ mɛtena awɔberɛ no.
When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.
13 Bɔ mmɔden gya mmaranimfoɔ Sena ne Apolo ɛkwan yie na anhia wɔn hwee.
Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
14 Ma yɛn nkurɔfoɔ no nsua sɛdeɛ wɔde wɔn adagyeɛ yɛ nnwuma pa de boa. Ɛnsɛ sɛ wɔtena ase kwa.
And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
15 Wɔn a wɔne me wɔ ha nyinaa kyeakyea wo. Kyea wɔn a wɔdɔ yɛn wɔ gyidie mu ma yɛn. Adom nka mo nyinaa.
All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen. It was written to Titus, ordained the first bishop of the Assembly of the Cretians, from Nicopolis of Macedonia.
