< Romafoɔ 8 >

1 Enti, afɔbuo nni hɔ ma wɔn a wɔwɔ Kristo Yesu mu
[There is] then now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.
2 ɛfiri sɛ Honhom Kronkron no ama mo nkwa a ɛfiri Kristo Yesu nkyɛn, na agye mo afiri mmara a ɛde owuo ba.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death.
3 Esiane ɔhonam mmerɛyɛ enti, Mose Mmara no antumi annye yɛn. Enti Onyankopɔn yɛɛ deɛ Mmara no antumi anyɛ. Ɔnam nʼankasa ne Ba a ɔsomaa no wɔ onipa bɔnesu so no ba bɛbɔɔ afɔdeɛ maa yɛn, na ɔbɛbuu bɔne atɛn de pepaa yɛn bɔne.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent his own Son, in likeness of flesh of sin, and for sin, has condemned sin in the flesh,
4 Onyankopɔn yɛɛ yei, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a Kristo bɛyɛ Mmara no asɛdeɛ ama yɛn, yɛn a yɛnnante ɔhonam fam, na mmom yɛnante honhom mu no.
in order that the righteous requirement of the law should be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to flesh but according to Spirit.
5 Wɔn a honam mmerɛyɛ hyɛ wɔn so no dwene bɔne nko ara ho. Wɔn a wɔnam Honhom mu no dwene Honhom deɛ.
For they that are according to flesh mind the things of the flesh; and they that are according to Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6 Wɔn a wɔwɔ ɔhonam mmerɛyɛ adwene no bɛwu. Wɔn nso a wɔnam Honhom mu no bɛnya nkwa ne asomdwoeɛ.
For the mind of the flesh [is] death; but the mind of the Spirit life and peace.
7 Adwene a ɛdwene honam mu no tan Onyankopɔn, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛmmrɛ ne ho ase mma Onyankopɔn mmara; na mpo ɛrentumi.
Because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God; for neither indeed can it be:
8 Wɔn a wɔdwene honam mu no rentumi nsɔ Onyankopɔn ani.
and they that are in flesh cannot please God.
9 Sɛ Onyankopɔn Honhom te mo mu a, ɛnyɛ honam mmerɛyɛ na ɛdi mo so. Na sɛ obi nni Kristo Honhom a, ɔnyɛ Kristo dea.
But ye are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeed God's Spirit dwell in you; but if any one has not [the] Spirit of Christ he is not of him:
10 Ɛwom sɛ bɔne bɛma mo nipadua yi awu deɛ, nanso sɛ Kristo te mo mu a, ne tenenee enti, mo honhom te ase.
but if Christ be in you, the body is dead on account of sin, but the Spirit life on account of righteousness.
11 Sɛ Onyankopɔn Honhom a ɛnyanee Yesu firii awufoɔ mu no te mo mu a, ɛnneɛ deɛ ɔnyanee Kristo firii awufoɔ mu no nso nam ne Honhom a ɛwɔ mo mu no so bɛma mo nipadua a ɛwu yi nso nkwa.
But if the Spirit of him that has raised up Jesus from among [the] dead dwell in you, he that has raised up Christ from among [the] dead shall quicken your mortal bodies also on account of his Spirit which dwells in you.
12 Enti anuanom, yɛwɔ asodie bi, nanso, yɛnyɛ mma honam no sɛdeɛ ɔpɛ.
So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to flesh;
13 Sɛ motena ase ma ɔhonam a, mobɛwu. Nanso, sɛ moma Honhom no kum bɔne a nipadua no yɛ a, mobɛnya nkwa.
for if ye live according to flesh, ye are about to die; but if, by the Spirit, ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live:
14 Wɔn a Onyankopɔn Honhom di wɔn so no yɛ Onyankopɔn mma.
for as many as are led by [the] Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
15 Ɛfiri sɛ, moannya honhom a ɛma mo yɛ nkoa bio ma ɔsuro, na mmom, moanya abayɛ Honhom na yɛnam ne so su sɛ, “Abba, Agya!”
For ye have not received a spirit of bondage again for fear, but ye have received a spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 Na Honhom no ankasa ne yɛn honhom di adanseɛ sɛ yɛyɛ Onyankopɔn mma.
The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are children of God.
17 Esiane sɛ yɛyɛ Onyankopɔn mma enti, yɛyɛ adedifoɔ; Onyankopɔn adedifoɔ a yɛne Kristo wɔ kyɛfa wɔ mu, nanso gye sɛ yɛne no kyɛ nʼamanehunu ansa na yɛne no akyɛ nʼanimuonyam.
And if children, heirs also: heirs of God, and Christ's joint heirs; if indeed we suffer with [him], that we may also be glorified with [him].
18 Menim sɛ amanehunu a yɛrehunu no saa ɛberɛ yi nyɛ deɛ wɔdetoto animuonyam a wɔbɛhyɛ yɛn no ho.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy [to be compared] with the coming glory to be revealed to us.
19 Abɔdeɛ nyinaa de anigyina rehwɛ da a Onyankopɔn mma bɛda wɔn ho adi no ɛkwan.
For the anxious looking out of the creature expects the revelation of the sons of God:
20 Ɛfiri sɛ, ɛberɛ a ɛmfiri abɔdeɛ pɛ mu no, wɔnam Onyankopɔn tumi mu buu abɔdeɛ fɔ sɛ ɛnnane ade hunu. Nanso na saa anidasoɔ yi wɔ hɔ
for the creature has been made subject to vanity, not of its will, but by reason of him who has subjected [the same], in hope
21 sɛ, da bi abɔdeɛ no bɛde ne ho afiri nkoayɛ ne porɔeɛ mu na ɛne Onyankopɔn mma anya ahofadie mu animuonyam.
that the creature itself also shall be set free from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.
22 Yɛnim sɛ ɛbɛsi saa ɛberɛ yi abɔdeɛ nyinaa pene sɛ ɔpemfoɔ a awoɔ aka no.
For we know that the whole creation groans together and travails in pain together until now.
23 Nanso, ɛnyɛ abɔdeɛ nko, na yɛn a yɛwɔ Onyankopɔn Honhom sɛ Onyankopɔn akyɛdeɛ no nso si apinie ɛberɛ a yɛretwɛn sɛ Onyankopɔn de yɛn bɛyɛ ne mma. Yei kyerɛ sɛ yɛbɛde yɛn ho ɔhonam fam nso.
And not only [that], but even we ourselves, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, we also ourselves groan in ourselves, awaiting adoption, [that is] the redemption of our body.
24 Na wɔnam saa anidasoɔ yi so gyee yɛn nkwa. Sɛ yɛhunu deɛ yɛn ani da so no deɛ a, na ɛnyɛ anidasoɔ bio. Na hwan na nʼani tumi da adeɛ a ɔwɔ dada so.
For we have been saved in hope; but hope seen is not hope; for what any one sees, why does he also hope?
25 Na sɛ yɛn ani da adeɛ a yɛn nsa nkaeɛ so a, yɛde boasetɔ twɛn.
But if what we see not we hope, we expect in patience.
26 Saa ara na Honhom no boa yɛn wɔ yɛn mmerɛyɛ mu, ɛfiri sɛ, yɛnnim ɛkwan a wɔfa so bɔ mpaeɛ sɛdeɛ ɛsɛ. Honhom no ankasa de apinisie de nsɛm a ɛnni kabea di ma yɛn.
And in like manner the Spirit joins also its help to our weakness; for we do not know what we should pray for as is fitting, but the Spirit itself makes intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 Onyankopɔn a ɔhunu nnipa akoma mu no nim Honhom no nsusuiɛ, ɛfiri sɛ, Honhom no nam Onyankopɔn pɛ so di ma Onyankopɔn mma wɔ nʼanim.
But he who searches the hearts knows what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for saints according to God.
28 Yɛnim sɛ adeɛ nyinaa mu no Onyankopɔn di boa wɔn a wɔdɔ no ma ɛwie wɔn yie. Ɛdi boa wɔn a wɔnam nʼatirimpɔ so afrɛ wɔn.
But we do know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose.
29 Wɔn a Onyankopɔn ayi wɔn dada no, ɔde wɔn asi hɔ sɛ wɔnyɛ sɛ ne Ba no, na ne Ba no ayɛ anuanom pii mu abakan.
Because whom he has foreknown, he has also predestinated [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, so that he should be [the] firstborn among many brethren.
30 Onyankopɔn frɛɛ wɔn a ɔyii wɔn sii hɔ no, na wɔn a ɔyii wɔn no, ɔbuu wɔn bem. Na wɔn a ɔbuu wɔn bem no, ɔhyɛɛ wɔn animuonyam nso.
But whom he has predestinated, these also he has called; and whom he has called, these also he has justified; but whom he has justified, these also he has glorified.
31 Afei, ɛdeɛn na yɛbɛka afa yeinom ho? Onyankopɔn wɔ yɛn afa a, hwan na ɔne yɛn bɛdi asie?
What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who against us?
32 Deɛ wankame nʼankasa ne Ba, na mmom, yɛn nyinaa enti, ɔyii no maeɛ no, ɛbɛyɛ dɛn na ɔmfa adeɛ nyinaa nso nka ne ho mmɛdom yɛn?
He who, yea, has not spared his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him grant us all things?
33 Hwan na ɔbɛbu wɔn a Onyankopɔn ayi wɔn no atɛn? Onyankopɔn nko na ɔbu bem.
Who shall bring an accusation against God's elect? [It is] God who justifies:
34 Hwan na ɔbu fɔ? Kristo Yesu ne deɛ ɔwuiɛ na wɔnyanee no na ɔte Onyankopɔn nifa so di ma yɛn Onyankopɔn anim no.
who is he that condemns? [It is] Christ who has died, but rather has been [also] raised up; who is also at the right hand of God; who also intercedes for us.
35 Hwan na ɔbɛtumi atete ɔdɔ a ɛda yɛne Kristo ntam no mu? Ahohia anaa ahometeɛ anaa ɔtaa anaa ɛkɔm anaa adagya anaa amanenya anaa owuo na ɛbɛtumi atete ɔdɔ a ɛda yɛne Kristo ntam no mu no anaa?
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? tribulation or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
36 Dabi! Wɔatwerɛ sɛ, “Wo enti, wɔkum yɛn daa nyinaa; wɔbu yɛn sɛ nnwan a wɔrekɔkum wɔn.”
According as it is written, For thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we have been reckoned as sheep for slaughter.
37 Nanso, yeinom nyinaa mu no, yɛnam deɛ ɔdɔɔ yɛn no so di nkonim boro so.
But in all these things we more than conquer through him that has loved us.
38 Megye medi ampa sɛ owuo anaa nkwa anaa abɔfoɔ anaa atumfoɔ anaa nneɛma a ɛwɔ hɔ anaa nneɛma a ɛrebɛba anaa tumi
For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
39 anaa ɔsoro anaa ɛfam anaa abɔdeɛ foforɔ biara rentumi ntete yɛne Onyankopɔn dɔ a ɛwɔ Kristo Yesu, yɛn Awurade, mu no mu da.
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.
