1 Afei ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔtɔ so enum no hyɛnee ne totorobɛnto. Mehunuu nsoromma a wate firi soro abɛhwe asase so. Wɔmaa no ebunu a ase nni awieeɛ safoa. (Abyssos g12)
And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. (Abyssos g12)
2 Nsoromma no buee ebunu no, na wisie kumɔnn firii mu sɛ fononoo kɛseɛ bi, na wisie no maa owia hann ne mframa a ɛwɔ hɔ no yɛɛ tumm. (Abyssos g12)
And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. (Abyssos g12)
3 Mmoadabi firii wisie no mu baa asase so, na wɔmaa wɔn tumi sɛ anyanyankyerɛ.
And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 Wɔama wɔn ansɛe ɛserɛ anaa nnua anaa afifideɛ biara, na mmom, nnipa a Onyankopɔn nsɔano no bi nni wɔn moma so no deɛ, wɔmaa wɔn twee wɔn aso.
And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men who have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
5 Wɔamma saa mmoadabi no ɛkwan sɛ wɔnkunkum saa nnipa yi. Na mmom, wɔmaa wɔn ɛkwan sɛ wɔnha wɔn abosome enum. Wɔka wɔn a, wɔn ano yea no te sɛ nyanyankyerɛ deɛ.
And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
6 Saa abosome enum no mu no, saa nnipa no bɛpere owuo, nanso wɔrennya. Wɔbɛpɛ sɛ wɔwu, nanso owuo bɛdwane afiri wɔn nkyɛn.
And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
7 Mmoadabi no te sɛ apɔnkɔ a wɔasiesie wɔn ama ɔko. Wɔwɔ biribi te sɛ sikakɔkɔɔ ahenkyɛ hyɛ wɔn ti. Na wɔn anim te sɛ nnipa anim.
And the shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
8 Wɔn tirinwi te sɛ mmaa tirinwi, ɛnna wɔn se nso te sɛ gyata se.
And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
9 Wɔde biribi te sɛ dadeɛ nkataboɔ akatakata wɔn bo. Na nnyegyeeɛ a wɔn ntaban yɛ no te sɛ apɔnkɔ bebree a wɔretwe nteaseɛnam akɔ ɔko.
And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
10 Wɔwɔ borɔ dua te sɛ anyanyankyerɛ. Na wɔn dua no enti na na wɔwɔ tumi a wɔde ha nnipa abosome enum no.
And they had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
11 Wɔwɔ ɔhene a ɔdi wɔn so, a ɔno ne ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔhwɛ bunu no so. Ne din wɔ Hebri kasa mu de “Abadon” ɛnna Hela kasa mu nso, ɛde “Apolion”, a nʼasekyerɛ ne “Ɔsɛefoɔ.” (Abyssos g12)
And they had a king over them, who is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew language is Abaddon, but in the Greek language he hath his name Apollyon. (Abyssos g12)
12 Ɔhaw baako atwam. Yei akyi, ɔhaw mmienu bi bɛba.
One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more after this.
13 Afei ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔtɔ so nsia no hyɛnee ne totorobɛnto. Metee nne bi firii sikakɔkɔɔ afɔrebukyia a ɛsi Onyankopɔn anim no ntweaso nyinaa.
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14 Nne no ka kyerɛɛ ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔtɔ so nsia a ɔkura totorobɛnto no sɛ, “Sanesane abɔfoɔ baanan a wɔasesa wɔn, Asubɔnten Eufrate ho no.”
Saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, Loose the four angels who are bound in the great river Euphrates.
15 Wɔsanesanee abɔfoɔ baanan no. Wɔasiesie wɔn ama saa dɔnhwereɛ yi, saa da yi, saa bosome yi ne saa afeɛ yi sɛ wɔnkunkum adasamma mu nkyɛmu mmiɛnsa mu baako.
And the four angels were loosed, who were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, to slay the third part of men.
16 Wɔdii akodɔm ɔpepem ahanu anim. Wɔbɔɔ wɔn dodoɔ no ho amaneɛ maa meteeɛ.
And the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
17 Na mʼanisoadehunu no mu no, mehunuu apɔnkɔ no ne wɔn kafoɔ. Na wɔn nkataboɔ no yɛ kɔɔ sɛ ogya, tumm sɛ afasebire, ɛnna akokɔsradeɛ sɛ sɔfe. Na ɔpɔnkɔ no ti te sɛ gyata ti a ogya wisie ne sɔfe firi wɔn anom.
And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
18 Saa ɔhaw ahodoɔ mmiɛnsa no a ɛyɛ ogya, wisie ne sɔfe no a ɛfiri apɔnkɔ no anom baeɛ no kumm adasamma nkyɛmu mmiɛnsa mu baako.
By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
19 Ɛfiri sɛ, na apɔnkɔ no tumi nyinaa firi wɔn anom ne wɔn dua. Wɔn dua te sɛ awɔ a wɔwɔ ti a ɛno na na wɔde pira nnipa.
For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
20 Adasamma a wɔkaeɛ no a ɔhaw no ankum wɔn no annu wɔn ho amfiri wɔn nsa ano nnwuma ho. Wɔannyae ahonhommɔne ne ahoni ne sika ne dwetɛ ne ayowaa ne aboɔ ne nnua a ɛnhunu adeɛ na ɛnte asɛm na ɛntumi nnante no som.
And the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
21 Saa ara nso na wɔannu wɔn ho amfiri wɔn awudie ne wɔn adutoɔ ne wɔn adwamammɔ ne wɔn korɔno ho.
Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their immorality, nor of their thefts.
