1 Yei akyi no, mehunuu abɔfoɔ baanan sɛ, wɔgyinagyina asase ntweaa nan no so a wɔretwe mframa nan a ɛwɔ asase so no, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a mframa biara remmɔ wɔ asase ne ɛpo so ne baabiara.
After this, I saw four messengers, standing at the four corners of the earth, holding fast the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow upon the land, or upon the sea, or upon any tree.
2 Ɛnna mehunuu ɔbɔfoɔ foforɔ a ɔfiri apueeɛ reba a ɔkura Onyankopɔn a ɔte ase no nsɔano. Ɔteaam frɛɛ abɔfoɔ baanan no a na Onyankopɔn ama wɔn tumi sɛ wɔnsɛe asase ne ɛpo no.
And I saw another messenger, ascending from the rising of the sun, holding the seal of the Living God; and he cried out with a loud voice unto the four messengers unto whom it had been given to injure the land and the sea,
3 Ɔbɔfoɔ no kaa sɛ, “Monnsɛe asase ne ɛpo anaa nnua kɔsi sɛ yɛde nsɔano bɛhyɛ Onyankopɔn asomfoɔ no agyiraeɛ.”
saying—Do not injure the land, or the sea, or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads.
4 Na wɔkyerɛɛ me wɔn a wɔde Onyankopɔn nsɔano hyɛɛ wɔn agyiraeɛ wɔ wɔn moma so no dodoɔ. Wɔn nyinaa dodoɔ yɛ ɔpeha aduanan ɛnan, a wɔn nyinaa firi Israel mmusuakuo no mu.
And I heard the number of the sealed, —a hundred and forty-four thousand, —sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel: —
5 Yuda abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu. Ruben abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu. Gad abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu.
Of the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand sealed, of the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand,
6 Aser abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu. Naftali abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu. Manase abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu.
Of the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand,
7 Simeon abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu. Lewi abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu. Isakar abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu.
Of the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand,
8 Sebulon abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu. Yosef abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu. Benyamin abusuakuo mu nnipa a wɔsɔɔ wɔn ano si mpem dumienu.
Of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand, of the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand, sealed.
9 Yei akyi no, mehunuu nnipakuo a obiara ntumi nkan wɔn dodoɔ. Wɔfifiri aman ne mmusuakuo ne nkurɔfoɔ ne kasa nyinaa mu a wɔgyinagyina ahennwa no ne Odwammaa no anim a wɔhyehyɛ ntadeɛ fitafitaa, kurakura berɛ.
After these things, I saw, and lo! a great multitude, —which, to number it! no one was able, —of every nation, and [of all] tribes, and peoples, and tongues; standing before the throne, and before the Lamb; arrayed in white robes, and palm-branches in their hands; —
10 Wɔteaam sɛ, “Yɛn nkwagyeɛ firi yɛn Onyankopɔn a ɔte ahennwa no so ne Odwammaa no.”
and they cry out with a loud voice, saying—Salvation unto our God who sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb!
11 Na abɔfoɔ no atwa ahennwa no ne mpanimfoɔ no ne ateasefoɔ baanan no ho ahyia. Afei wɔbutubutuu ahennwa no anim, somm Onyankopɔn
And, all the messengers, were standing round about the throne and the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell down before the throne upon their faces, and rendered homage unto God,
12 kaa sɛ, “Amen! Nhyira ne animuonyam ne nyansa ne aseda ne anidie ne tumi ne ahoɔden yɛ Onyankopɔn dea daa daa. Amen!” (aiōn g165)
saying—Amen! The blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honour, and the power, and the might, —be unto our God, unto the ages of ages. [Amen]! (aiōn g165)
13 Mpanimfoɔ no mu baako bisaa me sɛ, “Ɛhefoɔ na wɔhyehyɛ ntadeɛ fitafitaa yi, na wɔfiri he?”
And one of the elders began, saying unto me—These who are arrayed in white robes, who are they? and whence came they?
14 Mebuaa sɛ, “Mennim, owura. Na wo na wonim.” Ɔka kyerɛɛ me sɛ, “Yeinom ne wɔn a wɔafiri ɔtaa mu. Wɔde Odwammaa no mogya ahoro wɔn ntadeɛ ama ayɛ fitaa.
And I at once said to him—My lord! thou, knowest! And he said unto me—These, are they who come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb;
15 Na ɛno enti na, “wɔgyina Onyankopɔn ahennwa anim a wɔresom awia ne anadwo wɔ ne hyiadan mu yi. Deɛ ɔbɛtena ahennwa no so no bɛbɔ wɔn ho ban.
For this cause, are they before the throne of God, and are rendering divine service unto him, day and night, in his sanctuary; and he that sitteth upon the throne shall spread his tent over them;
16 Sukɔm renne wɔn bio; ɛkɔm renne wɔn bio. Owia anaa ɔhyew biara renhye wɔn bio.
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither in any wise shall the sun fall upon them, nor any burning heat;
17 Ɛfiri sɛ, Odwammaa no a ɔwɔ ahennwa no mfimfini no bɛyɛ wɔn dwanhwɛfoɔ de wɔn akɔ nkwa asutire ho. Na Onyankopɔn bɛpepa wɔn aniwa mu nisuo nyinaa.”
Because, the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne, shall shepherd them, and shall lead them unto life’s fountains of waters; and God shall wipe away every tear out of their eyes.
