1 “Twerɛ krataa yi kɔma ɔbɔfoɔ ɔwɔ asafo a ɛwɔ Sardi no sɛ: Yei ne asɛm a ɛfiri deɛ ɔwɔ Onyankopɔn ahonhom nson ne nsoromma nson no nkyɛn. Menim deɛ woreyɛ. Menim sɛ woagye din sɛ wote ase, nanso woawu.
“Write this to the angel of the Sardis church: This is what the one who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars says: I know what you have accomplished, and that you give the appearance of being alive—but in reality you are dead.
2 Enti nyane, na kanyane deɛ aka wo nkyɛn no na anwu koraa. Ɛfiri sɛ, mahunu sɛ deɛ woayɛ no nya nnii mu wɔ Onyankopɔn anim.
Wake up, and try to revive what is left that's about to die! For I have discovered that from the perspective of my God, nothing you've done has been finished.
3 Kae deɛ wɔkyerɛɛ wo no ne sɛdeɛ woteeɛ no. Di so na twe wo ho firi wo bɔne ho. Sɛ woankanyane wo ho a, mɛba wo so sɛ ɔkorɔmfoɔ, na worenhunu ɛberɛ ko a mɛba.
So remind yourselves of how this message came to you, and what you heard. Observe what you were told to do, and repent. If you don't watch out, I'll come unexpectedly like a thief, and you won't know at what time I'll come to you!
4 Nanso, mo mu kakra bi a wɔwɔ Sardi no mfaa ewiase nkekaeɛ nkekaa wɔn ntadeɛ mu. Wɔne me bɛnante a wɔhyɛ ntadeɛ fitaa, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛsɛ wɔn sɛ wɔyɛ saa.
But there are some among you in Sardis who have not ruined their clothes, and they will walk with me dressed in white, for they deserve to do so.
5 Deɛ ɔbɛdi nkonim no, wɔbɛhyɛ no atadeɛ fitaa, na merentwa ne din mfiri ateasefoɔ nwoma no mu. Na mɛda ne din adi wɔ mʼAgya no ne nʼabɔfoɔ anim sɛ ɔyɛ me dea.
Those who are victorious will be dressed in white like this. Their names will not be removed from the book of life, and I will speak for them in the presence of my Father and his angels.
6 Deɛ ɔwɔ aso no ntie deɛ Honhom no ka kyerɛ asafo no.

7 “Twerɛ krataa yi kɔma ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔwɔ asafo a ɛwɔ Filadelfia no sɛ: Yei ne asɛm a ɛfiri deɛ ɔyɛ kronkron na ɔyɛ nokorɛ na ɔkura Dawid safoa no nkyɛn. Deɛ ɔbue a, obi ntumi nto mu na sɛ ɔto mu nso a, obi ntumi mmue no.
Write this to the angel of the Philadelphia church: This is what the one says, the one who is holy and true, who has the key of David. He can open and nobody is able to shut, he can shut, and nobody is able to open:

Because you have persevered as I told you to, I will take care of you during the testing time that is coming on the whole world when those who live on the earth will be on trial.

I am coming soon! Keep a tight grasp on what you have, so that no one takes your crown.

Those who are victorious I will make into pillars in the Temple of my God. They won't ever have to leave. I will write on them the name of my God, the name of the city of my God called New Jerusalem which descends from heaven from my God, and my own new name.

14 “Twerɛ krataa yi kɔma ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔwɔ Laodikea asafo mu no sɛ: Yei ne asɛm a ɛfiri Amen a ɔyɛ ɔdanseni nokwafoɔ a ɔyɛ biribiara a Onyankopɔn bɔeɛ no sodifoɔ nkyɛn.
Write this to the angel of the Laodicea church: This is what the Amen says, who is the faithful, true witness, highest ruler of God's creation:
15 Menim deɛ woayɛ. Menim sɛ wonyɛ nwunu nso wonyɛ hye. Me pɛ ne sɛ, anka wobɛyɛ mu baako.
I know what you have accomplished—you're neither hot nor cold. I wish you were hot or cold!
16 Nanso, ɛsiane sɛ woyɛ boturobodwo, na wonyɛ hye na wonyɛ nwunu enti, merebɛte wo sɛ ntasuo afiri mʼanom.
But because you're lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I'm going to spit you out of my mouth.
17 Woka sɛ, ‘meyɛ ɔdefoɔ na manya me ho na mewɔ deɛ ɛhia me nyinaa.’ Nanso, wonnim hia a ahia wo ne mmɔborɔ a woyɛ. Woyɛ ohiani. Woda adagya, na wʼani afira.
You say to yourselves, ‘I'm rich, I have wealth, and don't need anything.’ But you don't know that you are miserable and pitiful and poor and blind and naked.
18 Enti, metu wo fo sɛ tɔ sikakɔkɔɔ, sikakɔkɔɔ amapa, firi me nkyɛn, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛma woayɛ ɔdefoɔ. Afei, tɔ ntadeɛ fitaa hyɛ fa kata wʼanimguaseɛ adagya no so. Afei, tɔ aduro gu wʼani so, sɛdeɛ wobɛhunu adeɛ.
I advise you to buy from me gold refined by fire so you may be rich; and have white clothes so you can be properly dressed and you won't reveal your nakedness and shame; and ointment to put on your eyes so you can see.
19 Mekɔ so twe wɔn a medɔ wɔn no nyinaa aso. Enti bɔ mmɔden na twe wo ho firi bɔne ho.
Those I love I correct and discipline. So be really sincere, and repent.
20 Tie! Megyina ɛpono no akyi rebɔ mu; sɛ obi te me nne na ɔbue ɛpono no a, mɛba mu na me ne no adidi na ɔno nso ne me adidi.
Look, I'm standing at the door, knocking. If anyone hears me calling and opens the door, I will come in and eat with them, and they with me.
21 Mɛma nkonimdifoɔ no atena mʼahennwa no ho, sɛdeɛ madi nkonim enti, mete mʼAgya ahennwa ho seesei no.
I will have those who are victorious sit down with me beside my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down beside my Father on his throne.
22 Sɛ wowɔ aso a, ɛnneɛ tie deɛ Honhom no ka kyerɛ asafo no.”
