Adiyisɛm 22
1 Ɔbɔfoɔ no kyerɛɛ me nkwa asubɔnten a ani te korɔgyenn sɛ ahwehwɛ a ɛfiri Onyankopɔn ne Odwammaa no ahennwa so,
The angel showed me the river of water of life, crystal-clear, flowing out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,
2 a ɛtene fa kuro no abɔntene mfimfini. Asuo no fa biara, nkwa dua si hɔ a ɛso aba ahodoɔ dumienu ɔbosome biara. Wɔde ɛso ahahan no sa aman ahodoɔ no yadeɛ.
right in the middle of the main street of the city. On both sides of the river was the tree of life, producing twelve crops of fruit, one every month. The leaves of the tree were used to heal people from all nations.
3 Biribiara a ɛwɔ Onyankopɔn nnome ase no nkɔ kuro no mu. Wɔbɛhunu Onyankopɔn ne Odwammaa no ahennwa wɔ kuro no mu na nʼasomfoɔ bɛsom no.
There will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be there in the city, and his servants will worship him.
4 Wɔbɛhunu nʼanim na wɔbɛtwerɛ ne din agu wɔn moma so.
They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
5 Adeɛ rensa wɔ hɔ bio, na nkanea anaa hann ho nhia ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade Onyankopɔn bɛyɛ wɔn hann na wɔbɛdi adeɛ sɛ ahene daa daa. (aiōn g165)
There will be no more night, and they will not need the light of a lamp, or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light. They shall reign for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
6 Afei, ɔbɔfoɔ no ka kyerɛɛ me sɛ, “Saa nsɛm yi yɛ nokorɛ a wode wo ho to so a, ɛyɛ. Na Awurade Onyankopɔn a ɔde Honhom ma adiyifoɔ somaa ne ɔbɔfoɔ sɛ ɔmmɛkyerɛ nʼasomfoɔ deɛ ɛbɛba nnansa yi ara no.”
The angel told me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord God, who gave his Spirit to the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants what is about to happen.”
7 Yesu kaa sɛ, “Montie! Mereba nnansa yi ara, Nhyira nka wɔn a wɔtie adiyisɛm a ɛwɔ saa nwoma yi mu no!”
“I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the prophetic words of this book.”
8 Me, Yohane, mate na mahunu saa nneɛma yi nyinaa. Na metee ne nyinaa, hunuu ne nyinaa wieeɛ no, mebutuu ɔbɔfoɔ no a ɔkyerɛɛ me saa nneɛma yi nyinaa nan ase pɛɛ sɛ mesom no.
I am John who heard and saw all this. When I heard and saw them, I fell down at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things to worship him.
9 Nanso, ɔka kyerɛɛ me sɛ, “Nyɛ saa! Meyɛ ɔsomfoɔ te sɛ wo nuanom adiyifoɔ ne wɔn a wɔdi nwoma yi mu nsɛm no so no ara pɛ. Som Onyankopɔn!”
He told me, “Don't do that! I am one of God's servants just as you are, together with your brothers the prophets, and those who obey the words of this book. Worship God!”
10 Na ɔka kyerɛɛ me sɛ, “Nkata saa adiyisɛm a ɛwɔ nwoma yi mu no so, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛberɛ no abɛn.
Then he told me, “Don't seal up the words of prophecy of this book and keep them secret, for the time is near.
11 Obiara a ɔyɛ bɔne nkɔ so nyɛ bɔne, na deɛ ɔyɛ efi no nkɔ so nyɛ efi; deɛ ɔyɛ papa no nkɔ so nyɛ papa, na deɛ ɔyɛ kronkron no nkɔ so nyɛ kronkron.”
Whoever doesn't do what is right, let them stay that way. Whoever is impure, let them stay that way. Whoever does what is right, let them stay that way. Whoever is holy, let them stay that way.
12 Hwɛ! Mereba ntɛm! Mekura mʼabasobɔdeɛ sɛ mede rebɛma obiara sɛdeɛ nʼadwumayɛ teɛ.
I am coming soon, and I am bringing my reward to give to everybody based on what they've done.
13 Mene Alfa ne Omega, Ɔkannifoɔ ne Okyidifoɔ, Ahyɛaseɛ ne Awieeɛ.
I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
14 “Nhyira nka wɔn a wɔhoro wɔn ntadeɛ, na wɔn na wɔwɔ ho ɛkwan sɛ wɔdi nkwa dua no aba na wɔfa kuro no ɛpono no mu.
Blessed are those who wash their robes so that they have the right to the tree of life, and can enter into the city through the gates.
15 Na Kuro no akyi na nkraman ne adutofoɔ ne adwamanfoɔ ne awudifoɔ ne abosonsomfoɔ ne wɔn a wɔpɛ atorɔ na wɔdi atorɔ no nyinaa wɔ.
Those outside the city are dogs, those who practice witchcraft, those who are sexually immoral, those who murder, those who worship idols, and all those who love and invent lies.
16 “Me, Yesu, na masoma me ɔbɔfoɔ sɛ ɔmmɛbɔ mo saa nwoma yi nyinaa ho amaneɛ wɔ asafo mu. Meyɛ Dawid busuani. Mene anɔpa nsoromma a ɛhyerɛn no.”
I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony to share with the churches. I am both the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
17 Honhom no ne ayeforɔ no se, “Ɛsɛ sɛ obiara a ɔte saa asɛm yi nso ka sɛ, ‘Bra!’ Na deɛ osukɔm de no no mmra, na deɛ ɔpɛ no nso, ɔmmɛgye nkwa nsuo no kwa.”
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Whoever hears this, say, “Come.” Whoever is thirsty, come, and whoever wants to, freely drink of the water of life.
18 Me, Yohane, mebɔ obiara a ɔte saa adiyisɛm a ɛwɔ nwoma yi mu kɔkɔ sɛ: Sɛ obi de bi ka ho a, Onyankopɔn de asotweɛ bɛka ne haw a wakyerɛ mu wɔ saa nwoma yi mu no ho.
I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the prophetic words of this book that if anyone adds to them then God will add to them the plagues described in this book.
19 Na sɛ obi nso yi bi firi adiyisɛm a ɛwɔ saa nwoma yi mu no mu a, Onyankopɔn bɛyi ne kyɛfa a ɔbɛnya wɔ nkwa dua no ne kuro Kronkron a wɔakyerɛkyerɛ mu wɔ nwoma yi mu no.
If anyone takes away the prophetic words of this book, God will take away their share of the tree of life and of the holy city that are described in this book.
20 Deɛ ɔdi nwoma yi ho adanseɛ no ka sɛ, “Aane! Mereba ntɛm!” Amen. Bra, Awurade Yesu!
He who confirms all this says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen, come, Lord Jesus.
21 Yɛn Awurade Yesu Kristo adom nka ahotefoɔ nyinaa. Amen.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with the believers. Amen.
