1 “Twerɛ krataa yi kɔma ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔtua Efeso asafo no ano, na ka kyerɛ no sɛ: Yei ne nsɛm a ɛfiri obi a ɔkura nsoromma nson wɔ ne nsa nifa mu a ɔnante wɔ sika nkaneadua nson no ntam no.
Unto the messenger of the assembly, in Ephesus, write: —These things, saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, he that walketh in the midst of the seven lamps of gold:
2 Menim deɛ woayɛ. Menim nsi a wode ayɛ adwuma ne boasetɔ a wowɔ. Menim sɛ wonnye nnebɔneyɛfoɔ, na afei woasɔ wɔn a wɔka sɛ wɔyɛ asomafoɔ nanso wɔnnyɛ bi no ahwɛ, na woahunu sɛ wɔyɛ atorofoɔ.
I know thy works, and thy toil, and endurance, and that thou canst not bear bad men, and thou hast tried them who were affirming themselves to be apostles, and they were not, and hast found them false;
3 Wowɔ boasetɔ, na me enti, woahunu amane bebree, nanso wompaa aba.
And thou hast, endurance, and hast borne for the sake of my name, and hast not grown weary.
4 Nanso, deɛ mewɔ tia wo ne sɛ, wonnɔ me, sɛdeɛ kan no na wodɔ me no.
Nevertheless, I have against thee, that, thy first love, thou hast left.
5 Hunu ba a woaba fam no. Te wo ho firi bɔne ho na yɛ sɛdeɛ kane no na woyɛ no. Sɛ woantwe wo ho amfiri wo bɔne ho a, mɛba wo nkyɛn na mabɛyi wo kaneadua no afiri ne siberɛ.
Remember, therefore, whence thou hast fallen, and repent, and do, thy first works; otherwise, I come unto thee, and will remove thy lamp out of its place, except thou repent.
6 Nanso, deɛ ɛyɛ wɔ wo ho ne sɛ, wokyiri deɛ Nikolaifoɔ no yɛ no, na saa ara na me nso mekyiri.
But, this, thou hast, that thou hatest the works of the Nicolaitanes, which, I also, hate.
7 Deɛ ɔwɔ aso no ntie deɛ Honhom no ka kyerɛ asafo ahodoɔ no bi. Wɔn a wɔadi nkonim no, mɛma wɔn tumi na wɔadi nkwadua a ɛwɔ Onyankopɔn paradise hɔ.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what, the Spirit, is saying unto the assemblies. Unto him that overcometh—I will give, unto him, to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
8 “Twerɛ krataa yi kɔma ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔtua Smirna asafo no ano sɛ: Saa asɛm yi firi Ahyɛaseɛ ne Awieeɛ no nkyɛn. Deɛ ɔwuiɛ na ɔnyaneeɛ no.
And, unto the messenger of the assembly, in Smyrna, write: —These things, saith the first and the last, who became dead, and lived:
9 Menim amane a wohunu maa Awurade na menim wʼahiasɛm nyinaa nso, nanso wowɔ agyapadeɛ wɔ ɔsoro. Menim nsɛm a wɔn a wɔse wɔyɛ Yudafoɔ nanso wɔnyɛ Yudafoɔ no ka tia wo. Wɔyɛ ɔbonsam apamfoɔ.
I know thy tribulation, and destitution, nevertheless, thou art, rich, and the profane speech from among them who affirm that they themselves are, Jews, and they are not, but a synagogue of Satan.
10 Nsuro ɔhaw a ɛrebɛto wo no. Tie! Wɔde mo mu bi bɛto afiase na ɔbonsam nam so asɔ mo ahwɛ. Na mo haw bɛdi dadu. Sɛ owuo mu mpo a, gye me di na mɛma wo nkwa abotire.
Do not fear the things which thou art about to suffer. Lo! the adversary is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried, and may have tribulation ten days. Become thou faithful until death, and I will give thee the crown of life.
11 Deɛ ɔwɔ aso no ntie deɛ Honhom no ka kyerɛ asafo no. Wɔn a wɔdi nkonim no renwu owuprenu.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what, the Spirit, is saying unto the assemblies. He that overcometh, shall in nowise be injured by reason of the second death.
12 “Twerɛ krataa yi kɔma ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔwɔ Pergamo asafo mu sɛ: Saa krataa yi firi deɛ ɔwɔ akofena anofanu a ɛyɛ nnam no nkyɛn.
And, unto the messenger of the assembly, in Pergamum, write: —These things, saith he that hath the sharp, two-edged sword:
13 Menim sɛ faako a wote no, ɛhɔ na ɔbonsam ahennwa si. Wodi me nokorɛ; na ɛberɛ a wɔkumm Antipa a ɔyɛ ɔdanseni nokwafoɔ wɔ faako a ɔbonsam te no mpo, woampa me.
I know where thou dwellest, where, the throne of Satan, is; and thou art holding fast my name, and didst not deny my faith, even in the days of Antipas, my witness, my faithful one, who was killed near you, where, Satan, dwelleth.
14 Nanso, nneɛma kakra a mewɔ tia wo ne sɛ, nnipa bi a wɔdi Bileam nkyerɛkyerɛakyi no ka wo ho wɔ hɔ. Saa Bileam no na ɔkyerɛɛ Balak maa ɔmaa Israelfoɔ dii abosom so nnuane, kyerɛɛ wɔn adwamammɔ, nam so ma wɔyɛɛ bɔne no.
Nevertheless, I have against thee, a few things, —that thou hast there, such as hold fast the teaching of Balaam, —who went on to teach Balak to throw a cause of stumbling before the sons of Israel, to eat idol-sacrifices and to commit lewdness:
15 Saa ara nso na wowɔ nnipa bi ka wo ho a wɔdi Nikolaifoɔ nkyerɛkyerɛ akyi.
thus, even, thou, hast such as hold fast the teaching of the Nicolaitanes, in like manner.
16 Twe wo ho firi wo bɔne ho. Anyɛ saa a, ɛrenkyɛre biara mɛba wo nkyɛn, na mede sekan a ɛfiri mʼanom no abɛko atia saa nnipa no.
Repent, therefore, otherwise, I come unto thee speedily, —and will fight against them, with the sword of my mouth.
17 Deɛ ɔwɔ aso no ntie deɛ Honhom no ka kyerɛ asafo ahodoɔ no. Mo a moadi nkonim no, mɛma mo mana a ahinta no bi. Afei, mɛma wɔn mu biara ɛboɔ fitaa a wɔatwerɛ din foforɔ wɔ so a obiara nnim, gye onipa a wɔde bɛma no no.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what, the Spirit, is saying unto the assemblies. Unto him that overcometh, I will give, unto him, of the hidden manna, and I will give unto him a white stone, and, upon the stone, a new name written, which, no one, knoweth, save he that receiveth it.
18 “Twerɛ krataa kɔma ɔbɔfoɔ a ɔwɔ Tiatira asafo mu sɛ: Yei ne asɛm a ɛfiri Onyankopɔn Ba no a nʼani dɛre sɛ ogyaframa a ne nan ase hyerɛn sɛ ayowaa no nkyɛn.
And, unto the messenger of the assembly, in Thyatira, write: —These things, saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet like unto glowing copper:
19 Menim deɛ woyɛ. Menim wo dɔ, wo gyidie, wo som ne boasetɔ a wowɔ. Menim sɛ woreyɛ adwuma sene kane no.
I know thy works, and thy love, and faith, and ministry, and endurance, —and that, thy last works, are more than the first.
20 Nanso deɛ mewɔ tia wo ne sɛ, wogyee ɔbaa bi a ne din de Isabel, a ɔfrɛ ne ho, Onyankopɔn odiyifoɔ no too mu. Saa ɔbaa yi kyerɛkyerɛ, na ɔdi mʼasomafoɔ anim ma wɔbɔ adwaman di abosom aduane.
Nevertheless, I have against thee, that thou sufferest the woman Jezebel, she who calleth herself a prophetess, and is teaching and leading astray my own servants to commit lewdness and to eat idol-sacrifices;
21 Mama no ɛberɛ sɛ ɔnnu ne ho mfiri ne bɔne mu, nanso ɔmpɛ sɛ ɔsakyera firi nʼadwamammɔ mu.
and I gave her time, that she might repent, and she willeth not to repent out of her lewdness.
22 Ɛno enti, sɛ wɔansesa amfiri amumuyɛ a wɔne no yɛeɛ no mu a, mɛto no ahwe mpa so na ɔno ne wɔn a wɔsɛe awadeɛ no ahunu amane a ano yɛ den yie.
Lo! I cast her into a bed, and them who are committing adultery with her, into great tribulation, —except they repent out of her works;
23 Afei, mɛkum nʼakyidifoɔ no, na asafo no nyinaa bɛhunu sɛ mene obi a mehunu nnipa adwene mu ne wɔn akɔnnɔ. Deɛ mo mu biara yɛeɛ no, mɛtua no so ka pɛpɛɛpɛ.
and, her children, will I slay with death; —and all the assemblies shall get to know, that, I, am he that searcheth reins and hearts, and will give unto you, each one, according to your works.
24 Nanso, momu bi a mowɔ Tiatira no nni saa nkyerɛkyerɛ bɔne no akyi. Monsuaa deɛ afoforɔ frɛ no ‘Ɔbonsam asumansɛm’ no. Meka mekyerɛ mo sɛ, meremfa adesoa foforɔ biara nto mo so.
But, unto you, I say, —the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, such as have not come to know the deep things of Satan, as they say, I do not cast upon you any other burden;
25 Na monsɔ deɛ mowɔ no mu denden kɔsi sɛ mɛba.
nevertheless, what ye have, hold fast, till I shall have come.
26 Wɔn a wɔdi nkonim na wɔkɔ so yɛ deɛ mepɛ kɔsi awieeɛ no, mede tumi korɔ no ara a menya firii
And, he that overcometh, and keepeth throughout my works, I will, give unto him, authority over the nations;
27 mʼAgya hɔ no bɛma wɔn. Mɛma wɔn aman so tumi na wɔde dadeɛ poma adi wɔn so na wɔabobɔ wɔn sɛ nkukuo.
and he shall shepherd them with a sceptre of iron, —as, vessels of earthenware, are dashed in pieces: —as, I also, have received from my Father.
28 Afei, mede anɔpa nsoromma bɛma wɔn.
And I will give unto him the morning star.
29 Deɛ ɔwɔ aso no ntie deɛ Honhom no ka kyerɛ asafo no.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what, the Spirit, is saying unto the assemblies.
