1 Yei akyi, mehunuu ɔbɔfoɔ foforɔ sɛ ɔfiri ɔsoro reba fam.
(and *k*) After these things I saw another angel descending out of heaven, having authority great, and the earth was illuminated from the glory of him.
2 Ɔteaam dendeenden sɛ, “‘Wahwe ase! Babilonia kɛseɛ ahwe ase!’ Adane ahonhommɔne tenaberɛ ne ahonhom efi nyinaa atɛeɛ. Nnomaa a wɔyɛ efi a wɔkyiri wɔn nyinaa te ne mu.
And he cried out in (a mighty *N(k)O*) voice (loud *K*) saying: Fallen Fallen is Babylon the great And she has become a habitation (of demons *N(k)O*) and a prison of every spirit unclean and a prison of every bird unclean (and a prison of every creature unclean *NO*) and hated,
3 Ɔde ne nsã a ɛyɛ nʼadwamammɔ a ano yɛ den no maa nnipa nyinaa nomeeɛ. Asase so ahene ne no bɔɔ adwaman, na asase so adwadifoɔ nam nʼahonya mmorosoɔ so nyaa wɔn ho.”
For of the wine of the wrath of the sexual immorality of her (they have drunk *N(k)O*) all the nations, and the kings of the earth with her committed sexual immorality, and the merchants of the earth through the power of the sensuality of her were enriched.
4 Afei, metee nne foforɔ bi a ɛfiri ɔsoro ka sɛ, “Momfiri, me nkurɔfoɔ, na moamfa mo ho amfra bɔne a ɔyɛ no mu, na mo ne no ankyɛre nʼasotweɛ!
And I heard another voice from heaven saying: (do come *NK(o)*) you who [are] people of mine from her, so that not you may have fellowship in the sins of her, and of the plagues of her so that not you may receive;
For (they were heaped *N(K)O*) in her sins as high as heaven, and has remembered God the iniquities of her.
6 Sɛdeɛ ɔyɛɛ mo no, monyɛ no saa pɛpɛɛpɛ; deɛ ɔyɛɛ mo biara no, montua ne so ka mprenu. Nsa a ɔde maa mo no, monhyɛ no deɛ ano yɛ den mmɔho mmienu.
do give back to her as also she has rendered (to you *k*) and do pay back double (to her *k*) (the *no*) twofold according to the works of her. In the cup which she has mixed, do mix to her double.
So much as she has glorified herself and lived in luxury, so much do give to her torment and misery, because in the heart of herself she says that I sit [as] a queen and a widow never I am and mourning certainly not shall I see.
8 Yei enti, nʼamanehunu a ɛyɛ yadeɛ awerɛhoɔ ne ɛkɔm bɛba ne so da bi. Na wɔde ogya ahye no, ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade Onyankopɔn a ɔbu no atɛn no yɛ kɛseɛ.
Because of this in one day will come the plagues of her, death and misery and famine, and with fire she will be burned up, because mighty [is the] Lord God the [One] (having judged *N(k)O*) her.
9 “Sɛ asase so ahene a wɔne no bɔɔ adwaman, dii dɛ no hunu hye a wɔrehye no no wisie a, wɔbɛsu atwa agyaadwoɔ.
And (they will weep *N(k)O*) ([for] her *k*) and they will wail for her the kings of the earth the [ones who] with her having committed sexual immorality and having lived luxuriously, when they may see the smoke of the burning of her
10 Nʼamanehunu no hu a ɛyɛ enti, wɔbɛgyina akyiri asu sɛ, “‘Due! Due, Ao, kuropɔn kɛseɛ, Ao Babilonia, kuropɔn a ɛwɔ tumi! Dɔnhwere baako pɛ mu, wʼatemmuo aba.’
from afar standing because of the fear of the torment of her saying: Woe woe you who [are] the city great Babylon the city strong! For (in *k*) one hour has come the judgment of you.
11 “Adwadifoɔ a wɔwɔ asase so nso su no ɛfiri sɛ, obiara ntɔ wɔn nneɛma bio.
And the merchants of the earth (weep *NK(o)*) and (they mourn *NK(o)*) for (her, *N(k)O*) because the cargo of them no [one] buys no longer no longer
cargo of gold and of silver and of stone precious and (of pearls *N(k)O*) and (of fine linen [things] *N(k)O*) and (of purple cloth *NK(o)*) and of silk and of scarlet and all wood citron and every article of ivory and every article of wood most precious and of bronze and of iron and of marble
13 ne pɛperɛ ne mmorɔngo, ne nnuhwam ne kurobo, ne hwamfufuo ne nsã ne ngo, ne asikyiresiam muhumuhu ne ayuo, ne nyɛmmoa ne nnwan ne apɔnkɔ ne nteaseɛnam ne nkoa ne nnipa akra.
and cinnamon (and spice *NO*) and incense and myrrh and frankincense and wine and oil and finest flour and wheat and cattle and sheep and of horses and of chariots and of slaves and souls of men.
14 “Adwadifoɔ no bɛka sɛ, ‘Nneɛma pa a wopere hwehwɛeɛ no nyinaa ayera, na wʼahonya ne wʼanimuonyam no kɔ, na wo nsa renka bio.’
And the ripe fruit of you of the desire of the soul are departed from you, and all the sumptuous things and the splendid things (were destroyed *N(k)O*) from you, and no longer no longer certainly not them (they will find. *N(K)(o)*)
15 Adwadifoɔ a wɔnyaa wɔn ho wɔ kuro no mu no bɛgyina akyirikyiri ɛfiri sɛ, wɔsuro amanehunu a ɔrehunu no. Wɔbɛsu na wɔatwa agyaadwoɔ,
The merchants of these things which having been enriched from her from afar will stand because of the fear of the torment of her weeping and mourning,
16 na wɔaka sɛ: “‘Due! Due, Ao, kuropɔn kɛseɛ a ɔfira nwera pa ne ntoma afasebire ne tam kɔkɔɔ, na sika ne aboɔden aboɔ ne nhwene pa bobɔ mu.
(and *k*) saying: Woe woe you who [are] the city great, which having been clothed with fine linen and purple and scarlet and adorned with (gold [things] *N(k)O*) and with stone precious and (with pearl! *N(K)O*)
17 Dɔnhwere pɛ, na saa ahonya dodoɔ yi asɛe.’ “Ahyɛnkafoɔ panin ne ɛhyɛn no mu nnipa, ne ɛhyɛn no mu adwumayɛfoɔ, ne wɔn a wɔka ho a wɔnya wɔn anoduane firi ɛhyɛn adwumayɛ mu no nyinaa gyinaa akyirikyiri.
Since in one hour has been brought to desolation so great wealth. And every shipmaster and every [one] who on (a place *NO*) (of the *k*) (sailing *N(k)O*) (the multitudes *K*) and sailors and as many as the sea trade by at a distance stood
18 Wɔsuiɛ wɔ ɛberɛ a wɔhunuu ogya a ɛrehyeɛ no wisie no, wɔteam ka sɛ ‘Kuropɔn biara a ne kɛseɛ te sɛi mmaa da.’”
and (were crying out *NK(o)*) (seeing *N(k)O*) the smoke of the burning of her saying; What [is] like as the city great?
Due Ao kuropɔn kɛseɛ, wo a wɔn a wɔwɔ ahyɛn wɔ wo mu no nam wʼahonya so yɛɛ adefoɔ. Na dɔnhwereɛ baako pɛ mu, wɔahwere biribiara!’
And they cast dust upon the heads of them and (they were crying out *NK(o)*) weeping and mourning (and *o*) saying: Woe woe the city great, in which were enriched all those having ships in the sea through the wealth of her! Since in one hour she has been desolated.
20 “Ma wʼani nnye ne ho. Ao, ɔsoro! Ahotefoɔ ne asomafoɔ ne adiyifoɔ mo ani nnye! Ɛkwan a ɔde mo faa so enti, Onyankopɔn abu no atɛn.”
do rejoice over (her, *N(k)O*) O heaven and you saints (and *no*) you apostles and you prophets, because did judge God the judgment for you against her.
21 Afei, ɔbɔfoɔ hoɔdenfoɔ bi faa ɛboɔ a ne kɛseɛ bɛyɛ sɛ owiyammoɔ to twenee ɛpo mu kaa sɛ, “Saa ahoɔden yi ara na wɔde bɛto Babilonia kɛseɛ no atwene, a wɔrenhunu no bio.
And took up one angel a mighty stone like (a millstone *N(k)O*) great and cast [it] into the sea saying: Thus with violence will be cast down Babylon the great city and certainly not may be found any longer.
And sound of harpists and musicians and flute players and trumpeters certainly not may be heard in you any longer, And any craftsmen of any craft certainly not may be found in you any longer, and [the] sound of a millstone certainly not may be heard in you any longer,
And [the] light of lamp certainly not may shine in you any longer, and [the] voice of a bridegroom and a bride certainly not may be heard in you any longer, for the merchants of you were the great ones of the earth, because by the sorcery of you were deceived all the nations.
24 Wɔ ne mu na wɔhunuu adiyifoɔ ne ahotefoɔ ne wɔn a wɔkumm wɔn asase so nyinaa mogya.”
And in her ([the] blood *N(k)O*) of prophets and of saints was found and of all those slain on the earth.
