1 Awurade di ɔhene, momma amanaman no ho mpopo; ɔte nʼahennwa so wɔ Kerubim ntam, ma asase nwoso.
The Lord reigns; let the nations tremble! He sits on his throne above the cherubim; let the earth shake!
2 Awurade a ɔwɔ Sion yɛ kɛseɛ; wɔama ne so wɔ amanaman nyinaa mu.
The Lord rules supreme in Zion, he is sovereign over all the nations.
3 Ma wɔnkamfo wo din a ɛso na ɛyɛ nwanwa no. Ɔyɛ kronkron.
Let them praise his greatness, and respect him for who he is—for he is holy,
4 Ɔhene no yɛ kɛseɛ, ɔdɔ atɛntenenee, woama pɛpɛyɛ atim; wayɛ deɛ ɛyɛ na ɛtene wɔ Yakob mu.
having kingly power. You love justice; you make impartial decisions. You have made sure everything is done in fairness and according to what's right.
5 Momma Awurade, yɛn Onyankopɔn so na monsɔre no wɔ ne nan ntiasoɔ anim; ɔyɛ kronkron.
Give respect to the Lord our God! Bow down at his feet, for he is holy!
6 Na Mose ne Aaron ka nʼasɔfoɔ no ho, na Samuel ka wɔn a wɔbɔɔ ne din no ho; wɔfrɛɛ Awurade, na ɔgyee wɔn so.
Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel also prayed to him. They called out to the Lord for help, and he answered them.
7 Ɔfiri omununkum dum mu kasa kyerɛɛ wɔn; wɔdii mmara ne ahyɛdeɛ a ɔmaa wɔn no so.
He spoke to the people from the pillar of cloud, and they kept the laws and decrees he gave them.
8 Ao Awurade, yɛn Onyankopɔn, wogyee wɔn so; woyɛɛ bɔnefakyɛ Onyankopɔn maa Israel, nanso wɔtwee wɔn aso wɔ wɔn nnebɔne ho.
Lord our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God to them, but you punished them when they did wrong.
9 Momma Awurade yɛn Onyankopɔn so na monsɔre no wɔ ne bepɔ kronkron no so, na Awurade yɛn Onyankopɔn yɛ kronkron.
Honor the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain. For the Lord our God is holy!
