< Nnwom 96 >
1 Monto dwom foforɔ mma Awurade; asase nyinaa monto dwom mma Awurade.
Sing to the Lord a new song, sing to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Monto dwom mma Awurade, na monkamfo ne din; mompae mu nka ne nkwagyeɛ no daa daa.
Sing to the Lord, bless his name, from day to day herald his victory.
3 Monka nʼanimuonyam wɔ amanaman mu, monka nʼanwanwadeɛ a wayɛ wɔ nnipa mu.
Tell his glory among the nations, his wonders among all peoples.
4 Awurade yɛ kɛseɛ na ɔfata ayɛyie; ɛsɛ sɛ wɔsuro no sene anyame nyinaa.
For great is the Lord and worthy all praise; held in awe, above all gods:
5 Anyame a wɔwɔ aman foforɔ so yɛ ahoni bi kwa, nanso Awurade na ɔbɔɔ ɔsoro.
for all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord created the heavens.
6 Animuonyam ne kɛseyɛ wɔ nʼanim; ahoɔden ne animuonyam wɔ ne kronkronbea hɔ.
Before him are splendour and majesty, beauty and strength in his holy place.
7 Momfa mma Awurade, Ao amanaman mmusuakuo, momfa animuonyam ne tumi mma Awurade.
Ascribe to the Lord, you tribes of the nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
8 Momfa animuonyam ne din a ɛfata mma Awurade; momfa afɔrebɔdeɛ nhyɛne nʼadihɔ hɔ.
Ascribe to the Lord the glory he manifests: bring you an offering, enter his courts.
9 Monsɔre Awurade wɔ ne kronkronyɛ fɛfɛ mu; asase nyinaa momma mo ho mpopo wɔ nʼanim.
Bow to the Lord in holy array: tremble before him, all the earth.
10 Monka nkyerɛ aman nyinaa sɛ, “Awurade di ɔhene.” Wɔabɔ asase atim hɔ pintinn na ɛnhinhim; ɔde pɛpɛyɛ bɛbu nnipa atɛn.
Say to the nations, ‘The Lord is king.’ The world stands firm to be shaken no more. He will judge the peoples with equity.
11 Momma ɔsorosoro ani nnye, na asase nni ahurisie; momma ɛpo ne emu nneɛma nyinaa nworo;
Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice, let the sea and its fulness thunder.
12 momma mfuo ne so nneɛma nyinaa mmɔ ose. Nnua a ɛwɔ kwaeɛm de ahosɛpɛ bɛto dwom;
Let the field, and all that is in it, exult; let the trees of the forest ring out their joy
13 wɔbɛto dwom wɔ Awurade anim, ɛfiri sɛ ɔreba, ɔreba abɛbu asase no atɛn. Ɔde tenenee bɛbu ewiase atɛn na woabu nnipa nso atɛn wɔ ne nokorɛ mu.
before the Lord: for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with justice and the nations with faithfulness.
