1 Dwom a wɔto no Homeda. Ɛyɛ sɛ wɔkamfo wo Awurade na wɔto dwom de hyɛ wo animuonyam, Ao Ɔsorosoroni,
It is a good thing to yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai, to sing zahmar ·musical praise· to your name, Most High;
2 na wɔpae mu ka wʼadɔeɛ anɔpa ne wo nokorɛ anadwo,
to proclaim your cheshed ·loving-kindness· in the morning, and your faithfulness every night,
3 wɔ ahoma edu sankuo so ne sankuten nnwom mu.
with the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, and with the lyre's solemn higgayon (meditation)
4 Ao Awurade, wo nneyɛɛ ma mʼani gye; mede anigyeɛ bɛto dwom, wo nsa ano nnwuma enti.
For you, Adonai, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.
5 Ao Awurade, wo nnwuma yɛ akɛseɛ, na wo nyansa mu dɔ!
How great are your works, Adonai! Your thoughts are very deep.
6 Ogyimifoɔ nnim na nkwaseafoɔ nte aseɛ,
A senseless man does not know, neither does a fool understand this:
7 amumuyɛfoɔ bɛnyini sɛ ɛserɛ na abɔnefoɔ bɛyɛ frɔmfrɔm deɛ, nanso wɔbɛsɛe wɔn pasaa.
though the wicked spring up as the grass, and all the evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.
8 Na wo Awurade, woyɛ kɛseɛ afebɔɔ.
But you, Adonai, are on high forever more.
9 Ao Awurade ampa ara, wʼatamfoɔ bɛyera; na wobɛhwete abɔnefoɔ nyinaa.
For, behold, your enemies, Adonai, for, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evildoers will be scattered.
10 Woama me ahoɔden te sɛ ɛkoɔ; woahwie ngohwam papa agu me so.
But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.
11 Mahunu mʼatamfoɔ nkoguo a wɔadi, mate sɛdeɛ mʼatamfoɔ atirimuɔdenfoɔ adwane afiri akono.
My eye has also seen my enemies. My ears have sh'ma ·heard obeyed· of the wicked enemies who rise up against me.
12 Ateneneefoɔ bɛyɛ frɔmm te sɛ abedua, wɔbɛnyini sɛ Lebanon ntweneduro;
The upright shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 deɛ wɔadua wɔ Awurade fie, wɔbɛnyini frɔmfrɔm wɔ yɛn Onyankopɔn adihɔ hɔ.
They are planted in Adonai’s house. They will flourish in our God’s courts.
14 Wɔbɛkɔ so aso aba, onyinkyerɛ mu mpo, wɔbɛyɛ frɔmm sɛ ahahammono,
They will still produce fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,
15 de akyerɛ sɛ, “Awurade yɛ ɔteneneeni; ɔyɛ me botan, na atirimuɔdensɛm biara nni ne mu.”
to show that Adonai is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
