< Nnwom 75 >
1 Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ no. Wɔnto no sɛdeɛ wɔto “Nsɛe No” nne so. Asaf dwom. Ao Onyankopɔn, yɛda wo ase, yɛda wo ase, ɛfiri sɛ wo Din abɛn; nnipa ka wʼanwanwadeɛ kyerɛ.
For the Chief Musician. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” A Psalm by Asaph. A song. We give thanks to you, God. We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works.
2 Woka sɛ, “Me na mehyɛɛ ɛberɛ a ɛsɛ no; ɛyɛ me na mebu atɛntenenee.
When I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly.
3 Sɛ asase ne ɛso nnipa nyinaa woso a, me na mema nʼafadum gyina hɔ pintinn.
The earth and all its inhabitants quake. I firmly hold its pillars. (Selah)
4 Meka kyerɛ ahantanfoɔ sɛ, ‘Monnhoahoa mo ho bio,’ na meka kyerɛ amumuyɛfoɔ nso sɛ, ‘Mommma mo mmɛn so.
I said to the arrogant, “Do not boast!” I said to the wicked, “Do not lift up the horn.
5 Mommma mo mmɛn so ntia ɔsoro; mommfa animtiabuo nkasa.’”
Do not lift up your horn on high. Do not speak with a stiff neck.”
6 Obiara mmfiri apueeɛ anaa atɔeɛ anaa ɛserɛ no so a ɔbɛtumi ama obi so.
For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.
7 Ɛyɛ Onyankopɔn na ɔbu atɛn: Ɔbrɛ ɔbaako ase, na ɔma ɔfoforɔ so.
But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another.
8 Kuruwa bi hyɛ Awurade nsam nsã bi a ɛtwa ahuro a wɔde nnuhwam afra ahyɛ no ma; ɔhwie, na asase so amumuyɛfoɔ nyinaa nom ma ɛka aseɛ puo.
For in the LORD’s hand there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.
9 Me deɛ, mɛpae mu aka yei daa daa; mɛto ayɛyi dwom ama Yakob Onyankopɔn.
But I will declare this forever: I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10 Mɛbubu amumuyɛfoɔ nyinaa mmɛn, nanso mɛma ateneneefoɔ ahoɔden foforɔ.
I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
