< Nnwom 68 >
1 Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ. Dawid dwom. Ma Onyankopɔn nsɔre, na nʼatamfoɔ mmɔ mpete; wɔn a wɔtane noɔ no nnwane mfiri nʼanim.
To the Chief Musician. David’s. A Melody, a Song. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered, Yea let them that hate him flee before him:
2 Sɛdeɛ mframa bɔ wisie gu no, saa ara na bɔ wɔn gu; sɛdeɛ sradeɛ nane wɔ ogya so no, saa ara na amumuyɛfoɔ nyera mfiri Onyankopɔn anim.
As smoke is driven about, Let them be driven about, —As wax is melted before a fire, Let the lawless perish before God.
3 Nanso, ma ateneneefoɔ ani nnye na wɔnsɛpɛ wɔn ho wɔ Onyankopɔn anim; ma wɔn ho ntɔ wɔn na wɔnni ahurisie.
But let, the righteous, be glad, let them exult before God, Yea let them rejoice with gladness.
4 To dwom ma Onyankopɔn, to dwom yi ne din ayɛ. Ma deɛ ɔnante omununkum soɔ no din so. Ne din ne Awurade; ma wʼani nnye wɔ nʼanim.
Sing ye to God, Make music of his Name, —Lift up (a song), to him that rideth through the waste plains, —Since Yah is his name, exult ye before him.
5 Nwisiaa agya ne deɛ ɔdi akunafoɔ asɛm ma wɔn ne Onyankopɔn a ɔte nʼatenaeɛ kronkron hɔ.
The father of the fatherless, And the advocate of widows, Is God, in his holy habitation.
6 Ɔma onnibie tena mmusua mu, na ɔde nnwontoɔ yi nneduafoɔ ma wɔde wɔn ho; na atuatefoɔ deɛ, wɔtena asase a awo so.
God, is he that causeth the solitary to dwell in a home, That bringeth out prisoners into prosperity, But, the rebellious, have made their habitation in a sunburnt land.
7 Ao Onyankopɔn, ɛberɛ a wodii wo nkurɔfoɔ anim, ɛberɛ a wode wɔn faa ɛserɛ so no,
O God! When thou camest forth before thy people, When thou didst stride through the wilderness, (Selah)
8 asase wosoeɛ, na ɔsoro tuee osuo guu fam, wɔ Onyankopɔn, Sinai Onyankopɔn no, Onyankopɔn, Israel Onyankopɔn no anim.
Earth, trembled, Yea, the heavens, dripped at the presence of God, —This Sinai—at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
9 Womaa osuo tɔɔ bebree, Ao Onyankopɔn, guu wʼagyapadeɛ a abotoɔ no so ma ɛyɛɛ frɔmm.
A bounteous rain, dost thou shed abroad, O God, upon thine inheritance, When exhausted, thou thyself, hast supported it:
10 Wo nkurɔfoɔ bɔɔ atenaseɛ wɔ so. Ao Onyankopɔn, wonam wʼadɔeɛ bebree no mu hwɛɛ ahiafoɔ.
Thy living host, have remained therein, Thou dost provide, in thy bounty, for the humbled ones—O God!
11 Awurade kaa asɛm no, na dodoɔ no ara ne wɔn a wɔpaee mu kaeɛ;
Let, My Lord, but give the word, The herald bands, will be a mighty host:
12 “Ahemfo ne wɔn asraafoɔ dwane ntɛm so; na mmaa kyɛ afodeɛ no.
Kings of armies, they flee! they flee! And, she that stayeth at home, shall share the spoil.
13 Mpo wɔn a wɔn daberɛ wɔ nnwankuo mu no, wɔnya afodeɛ no bi. Wɔnya aborɔnoma a wɔde sikakɔkɔɔ ne sika adura wɔn ntaban so.”
Though ye rest between the folds, The wings of the dove, shall be covered with silver, And, her pinions, with green-shimmering gold.
14 Ɛberɛ a Otumfoɔ bɔɔ ahene a wɔwɔ asase no so hweteeɛ no, na ɛte sɛ sukyerɛmma a agu Salmon so.
When the Almighty scattereth kings therein, It will gleam like snow in the gloom:
15 Basan mmepɔ gyinagyina hɔ, Basan mmepɔ so yɛ mmɔnkyi mmɔnka.
A mighty mountain, is the mountain of Bashan, A mountain of peaks, is the mountain of Bashan!—
16 Ao mmepɔ mmɔnkyi mmɔnka, adɛn enti na mode ani bɔne hwɛ bepɔ a Onyankopɔn ayi sɛ ɔbɛdi so ɔhene, baabi a Awurade ankasa bɛtena afebɔɔ?
Wherefore start ye up, ye mountains, ye peaks? The mountain God hath coveted for his habitation, Surely, Yahweh will inhabit it ever!
17 Onyankopɔn nteaseɛnam yɛ ɔpedu mpem mpem ne ɔpepem mpem mpem; Awurade firi Sinai aba ne kronkronbea.
The chariots of God, are two myriads—thousands repeated, My Lord, is among them Sinai, is in the sanctuary!
18 Ɛberɛ a woforo kɔɔ soro no, wode nnommumfoɔ kaa wo ho; wonyaa ayɛyɛdeɛ firii nnipa hɔ, firii atuatefoɔ hɔ mpo, sɛ ɛbɛyɛ a wobɛtena hɔ, Ao Awurade Onyankopɔn.
Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led in procession a body of captives, Thou hast received gifts consisting of men, Yea even the rebellious, That, Yah, Elohim, might settle down to rest.
19 Ayɛyie nka Awurade Onyankopɔn, yɛn Agyenkwa, deɛ ɔsoa yɛn nnesoa da biara no.
Blessed be My Lord! Day by day, he beareth our burden for us, GOD himself, is our salvation. (Selah)
20 Yɛn Onyankopɔn yɛ Onyankopɔn a ɔgye nkwa; na Awurade na ɔgye yɛn firi owuo mu.
The GOD we have, is a GOD of saving deeds, And, due to Yahweh, My Lord, are escapes from death.
21 Ampa ara, Onyankopɔn bɛyam nʼatamfoɔ ti, wɔn a wɔkɔ so yɛ bɔne no.
Yea, God himself, will smite through the head of his foes, —The hairy crown of him that is marching on in his guilty deeds.
22 Awurade ka sɛ, “Mede wɔn bɛfiri Basan aba; mede wɔn bɛfiri ɛpo bunu mu aba,
Said My Lord, From Bashan, will I bring back, —I will bring back from the depths of the sea:
23 na moanante wɔn a wɔkyiri moɔ no mogya mu na mo nkraman tɛkrɛma anya wɔn kyɛfa.”
That thou mayest bathe thy foot in blood, —The tongue of thy dogs, from the foes, hath its portion.
24 Ao Onyankopɔn, yɛahunu wo santen yuu no, me Onyankopɔn ne me Ɔhene santen yuu no a ɔde reba ne kronkronbea hɔ.
They have seen thy progress O God, The progress of my GOD, my king into the sanctuary:

In front are the singers, Behind are the harpers, In the midst of damsels playing on timbrels:
26 Monkamfo Onyankopɔn wɔ asafo kɛseɛ no mu; monkamfo Awurade wɔ Israel nipakuo no mu.
In the congregations, bless ye God, My Lord, from among the called of Israel:
27 Abusuakuo ketewa Benyamin na ɔdi wɔn ɛkan, Yuda mmapɔmma kuo kɛseɛ no di so, na Sebulon ne Naftali mmapɔmma aba.
There, is Benjamin, the Diminutive—ruling them, The princes of Judah—their throng, The princes of Zebulun, The princes of Naphtali.
28 Kyerɛ wo tumi, Onyankopɔn; da wʼahoɔden adi kyerɛ yɛn, sɛdeɛ woayɛ pɛn no.
Thy God hath commanded thy strength, —The strength, O God, which thou hast wrought for us.
29 Wʼasɔredan a ɛwɔ Yerusalem enti ahemfo de ayɛyɛdeɛ bɛbrɛ wo.
Because of thy temple above Jerusalem, Unto thee, shall kings bear along a gift—
30 Ka aboa a ɔhyɛ demmire mu no anim, ne anantwinini kuo a wɔhyɛ amanaman no anantwie mma mu no. Brɛ wɔn ase kɔsi sɛ wɔde dwetɛ mpɔ bɛba. Bɔ wɔn a wɔn ani gye ɔko ho no pansam.
Rebuke thou, The wild beast of the reeds, The herd of mighty oxen among the calves of the peoples—Each one bowing down with bars of silver, —Scatter thou the peoples, who in wars take delight.
31 Ananmusifoɔ bɛfiri Misraim aba, na Kus de ne ho bɛma Onyankopɔn.
Ambassadors come out of Egypt, The Ethiopian, eagerly stretcheth out his hands, unto God.
32 Ao ewiase ahennie, monto dwom mma Onyankopɔn, monto ayɛyi dwom mma Awurade,
Ye kingdoms of the earth, sing unto God, Praise in song Adonay. (Selah)
33 monto mma deɛ ɔte tete soro soro so no, na ɔde nne kɛseɛ bobɔ mu no.
Unto him that rideth upon the most ancient heavens, Lo! he uttereth his voice, a voice of strength.
34 Mompae mu nka Onyankopɔn tumi, deɛ ne kɛseyɛ hata Israel so no, na ne tumi wɔ soro soro no.
Ascribe ye strength unto God, —Over Israel, is his majesty, And his strength, in the skies. To be revered is God, for his sanctuary, —
35 Wo ho yɛ nwanwa, Onyankopɔn, wɔwo kronkronbea hɔ; Israel Onyankopɔn de tumi ne ahoɔden ma ne nkurɔfoɔ. Ayɛyie nka Onyankopɔn!
As for the GOD of Israel, he, is giving strength and abundant might to the people. Blessed be God!
