< Nnwom 61 >
1 Dawid dwom. Ao Onyankopɔn, tie me sufrɛ; tie me mpaeɛbɔ.
Unto the end, in hymns, for David. Hear, O God, my supplication: be attentive to my prayer,
2 Mefiri asase ano frɛ wo, mefrɛ wo ɛfiri sɛ mʼakoma atɔ baha; fa me kɔ ɔbotan a ɛware sene me no so.
To thee have I cried from the ends of the earth: when my heart was in anguish, thou hast exalted me on a rock. Thou hast conducted me;
3 Woayɛ me dwanekɔbea, aban a ɛyɛ den ma ɔtamfoɔ no.
For thou hast been my hope; a tower of strength against the face of the enemy.
4 Me kɔn dɔ sɛ metena wo ntomadan no mu afebɔɔ na manya hintabea wɔ wo ntaban nwunu ase.
In thy tabernacle I shall dwell for ever: I shall be protected under the covert of thy wings.
5 Woate me bɔhyɛ, Ao Onyankopɔn; na wode wɔn a wɔsuro wo din no agyapadeɛ ama me.
For thou, my God, hast heard my prayer: thou hast given an inheritance to them that fear thy name.
6 To ɔhene nkwa nna mu bebree; na ne mfeɛ mfiri awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ nkɔduru awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ.
Thou wilt add days to the days of the king: his years even to generation and generation.
7 Ma ɔnni ɔhene wɔ Onyankopɔn anim daa. Fa wʼadɔeɛ ne wo nokorɛ bɔ ne ho ban.
He abideth for ever in the sight of God: his mercy and truth who shall search?
8 Afei mɛto ayɛyie dwom ama wo din daa na madi me bɔhyɛ so daa nyinaa. Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ Yedutun.
So will I sing a psalm to thy name for ever and ever: that I may pay my vows from day to day.
