< Nnwom 53 >
1 Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ. Wɔde “mahalat” sankuo nne na ɛto. Dawid dwom. Ɔkwasea ka nʼakoma mu sɛ, “Onyankopɔn bi nni hɔ.” Wɔaporɔ, na wɔn akwan yɛ animguaseɛ. Baako koraa nni hɔ a ɔyɛ ade pa.
For the Chief Musician. To the tune of “Mahalath.” A contemplation by David. The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity. There is no one who does good.
2 Onyankopɔn firi soro hwɛ adasamma wɔ fam sɛ ɔbɛhunu wɔn mu bi a wɔwɔ nteaseɛ, anaa ebinom a wɔhwehwɛ Onyankopɔn.
God looks down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there are any who understood, who seek after God.
3 Obiara amane; wɔn nyinaa ayɛ bɔne; wɔn mu bi nni hɔ a ɔyɛ papa; ɔbaako mpo nni hɔ.
Every one of them has gone back. They have become filthy together. There is no one who does good, no, not one.
4 Enti abɔnefoɔ rensua nyansa anaa? Wɔwe me nkurɔfoɔ sɛdeɛ nnipa di aduane. Wɔnnsu mfrɛ Onyankopɔn.
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call on God?
5 Wɔn na wɔwɔ hɔ a wɔabɔ huboa! Wɔn ho popo wɔ beaeɛ a ehu nni hɔ. Onyankopɔn bɛhwete wʼatamfoɔ no nnompe agu; wobɛgu wɔn anim ase, ɛfiri sɛ Onyankopɔn abu wɔn animtiaa.
There they were in great fear, where no fear was, for God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you. You have put them to shame, because God has rejected them.
6 Ao, ma Israel nkwagyeɛ mfiri Sion mmra! Onyankopɔn bɛsane de ne nkurɔfoɔ agyapadeɛ ama wɔn. Na Yakob adi ahurisie, na Israel ani agye!
Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back his people from captivity, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
