< Nnwom 48 >
1 Kora mma dwom. Awurade yɛ kɛseɛ na ɔsɛ nkamfo wɔ yɛn Onyankopɔn kuropɔn mu, ne bepɔ kronkron so.
A song or Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praysed, in the Citie of our God, euen vpon his holy Mountaine.
2 Kuropɔn no ɔsorokɔ yɛ fɛ, ɛyɛ ewiase nyinaa anigyedeɛ. Bepɔ Sion te sɛ Safon sorɔnsorɔmmea, Ɔhene Kɛseɛ no kuropɔn.
Mount Zion, lying Northwarde, is faire in situation: it is the ioy of the whole earth, and the Citie of the great King.
3 Onyankopɔn te nʼabankɛsewa mu. Wada ne ho adi sɛ ɔyɛ nʼaban.
In the palaces thereof God is knowen for a refuge.
4 Ɛberɛ a ahemfo yi boaa wɔn ho ano, na wɔtuu ɔsa bɔɔ mu no,
For lo, the Kings were gathered, and went together.
5 wɔhunuu no ma ɛyɛɛ wɔn ahodwirie, na wɔde ehu dwaneeɛ.
When they sawe it, they marueiled: they were astonied, and suddenly driuen backe.
6 Nketenkete kyeree wɔn wɔ hɔ, ɔyea a ɛte sɛ ɔbaa a awoɔ aka no.
Feare came there vpon them, and sorowe, as vpon a woman in trauaile.
7 Wosɛee wɔn sɛ Tarsis ahyɛn a apueeɛ mframa abɔ adwira wɔn.
As with an East winde thou breakest the shippes of Tarshish, so were they destroyed.
8 Sɛdeɛ yɛate no, saa ara na yɛahunu wɔ Otumfoɔ Awurade kuropɔn no mu, yɛn Onyankopɔn kuropɔn mu; Onyankopɔn ma ɛtim hɔ afebɔɔ.
As we haue heard, so haue we seene in the citie of the Lord of hostes, in the Citie of our God: God will stablish it for euer. (Selah)
9 Wʼasɔredan no mu, Ao Onyankopɔn, na yɛdwene wo dɔ a ɛnsa da no ho,
We waite for thy louing kindnes, O God, in the middes of thy Temple.
10 Ao Onyankopɔn, wʼayɛyie duru asase ano te sɛ wo din; tenenee ayɛ wo nsa nifa mu ma.
O God, according vnto thy Name, so is thy prayse vnto the worlds end: thy right hand is full of righteousnes.
11 Sion bepɔ di ahurisie, Yuda nkuraase no ani gye ɛsiane wʼatemmuo no enti.
Let mount Zion reioyce, and the daughters of Iudah be glad, because of thy iudgements.
12 Nante Sion na twa ho hyia, kan nʼabantenten dodoɔ,
Compasse about Zion, and goe round about it, and tell the towres thereof.
13 dwene nʼafasuo ho yie, hwɛ nʼabankɛsewa no, na woaka ho asɛm akyerɛ nkyirimma.
Marke well the wall thereof: beholde her towres, that ye may tell your posteritie.
14 Saa Onyankopɔn yi yɛ yɛn Onyankopɔn daa daa; mpo ɔbɛyɛ yɛn kwankyerɛfoɔ akɔsi awieeɛ.
For this God is our God for euer and euer: he shall be our guide vnto the death.
