1 Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ. Kora mma dwom. Amanaman nyinaa, mommɔ mo nsam; momfa anigyeɛ nteam mfrɛ Onyankopɔn.
For the end, a Psalm for the sons of Core. Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with a voice of exultation.
2 Awurade Ɔsorosoroni no ho yɛ nwanwa, Ɔyɛ Ɔhene kɛseɛ wɔ asase nyinaa so!
For the Lord most high is terrible; [he is] a great king over all the earth.
3 Ɔde amanaman hyɛɛ yɛn ase, na ɔde nnipa hyɛɛ yɛn nan ase.
He has subdued the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet.
4 Ɔyii yɛn agyapadeɛ maa yɛn, deɛ ɛyɛ Yakob a ɔdɔ noɔ no ahohoahoadeɛ.
He has chosen out his inheritance for us, the beauty of Jacob which he loved. (Pause)
5 Onyankopɔn aforo kɔ soro wɔ anigyeɛ nteateam mu. Awurade wɔ totorobɛnto nnyegyeeɛ mu.
God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with a sound of a trumpet.
6 To ayɛyie nnwom ma Onyankopɔn, to ayɛyie nnwom; to ayɛyie nnwom ma yɛn Ɔhene, to ayɛyie nnwom.
Sing praises to our God, sing praises: sing praises to our King, sing praises.
7 Ɛfiri sɛ Onyankopɔn yɛ asase nyinaa so Ɔhene. Monto ahurisie nnwom mma no.
For God is king of all the earth: sing praises with understanding.
8 Onyankopɔn di ɔhene wɔ amanaman no so Onyankopɔn te nʼahennwa kronkron so.
God reigns over the nations: God sits upon the throne of his holiness.
9 Amanaman no mu akunini boaboa wɔn ho ano sɛ Abraham Onyankopɔn nkurɔfoɔ, ɛfiri sɛ asase so ahemfo yɛ Onyankopɔn dea; na wɔma no so yɛ no kɛseɛ.
The rulers of the people are assembled with the God of Abraam: for God's mighty ones of the earth have been greatly exalted.
