< Nnwom 43 >
1 Ao Onyankopɔn, bu me bem, na ka mʼasɛm a ɛtia ɔman a wɔnnsuro wo no ma me; gye me firi nnaadaafoɔ ne amumuyɛfoɔ nsam.
Judge me, O God, And plead my cause against a nation not pious, From a man of deceit and perverseness Thou dost deliver me,
2 Woyɛ Onyankopɔn, mʼabandenden. Adɛn enti na woapo me? Adɛn enti na ɛsɛ sɛ menantenante twa adwo mʼatamfoɔ nhyɛsoɔ nti?
For thou [art] the God of my strength. Why hast Thou cast me off? Why mourning do I go up and down, In the oppression of an enemy?
3 Soma wo hann ne wo nokorɛ ma wɔn nkyerɛ me ɛkwan; ma wɔmmfa me mmra wo Bepɔ Kronkron no so, faako a woteɛ hɔ.
Send forth Thy light and Thy truth, They — they lead me, they bring me in, Unto Thy holy hill, and unto Thy tabernacles.
4 Afei, mɛkɔ Onyankopɔn afɔrebukyia anim mʼanigyeɛ ne mʼahosɛpɛ Onyankopɔn nkyɛn. Mede sankuo bɛyi wo ayɛ, Ao Onyankopɔn, me Onyankopɔn.
And I go in unto the altar of God, Unto God, the joy of my rejoicing. And I thank Thee with a harp, O God, my God.
5 Adɛn enti na woaboto, Ao me kra? Adɛn enti na woteetee wɔ me mu saa? Fa wo ho to Onyankopɔn so, na mɛkɔ so ayi no ayɛ, mʼAgyenkwa ne me Onyankopɔn. Dwom a wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ.
What! bowest thou thyself, O my soul? And what! art thou troubled within me? Wait for God, for still I confess Him, The salvation of my countenance, and my God!
