< Nnwom 30 >
1 Dwom a wɔto de buee Asɔredan no ano. Dawid dwom. Mema wo so, Ao Awurade, ɛfiri sɛ, woayi me afiri ebunu mu na woamma mʼatamfoɔ ansere me.
“A psalm, a song at the dedication of the temple, of David.” I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not suffered my enemies to rejoice over me.
2 Ao Awurade me Onyankopɔn, mesu frɛɛ wo sɛ boa me na wosaa me yadeɛ.
O Lord my God, I cried loudly unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3 Ao Awurade, woyii me firii damena mu; wode me ho kyɛɛ me na woamma mankɔ amena mu. (Sheol )
O Lord, thou hast brought up from the nether world my soul: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. (Sheol )
4 Monto ayɛyie nnwom mma Awurade; mo a moyɛ nʼahotefoɔ! Monkamfo ne din kronkron no.
Sing unto the Lord, O ye his pious ones, and give thanks to the memorial of his holiness.
5 Nʼabufuo nkyɛre, na nʼadɔeɛ wɔ hɔ daa; agyaadwotwa bɛwɔ hɔ anadwo, nanso ahosɛpɛ bɛba anɔpa.
For his anger is momentary, [but] life is in his favor: in the evening [cometh] weeping to stay for a night, but in the morning, there is joyful song.
6 Metee nka sɛ mewɔ banbɔ no, mekaa sɛ, “Merenhinhim da.”
And I had said indeed in my prosperity, I shall never be moved.
7 Ao Awurade, woyɛɛ me adom no womaa me bepɔ gyinaa pintinn na wode wʼanim hintaa me no, me bo tuiɛ.
Lord, by thy favor hadst thou caused my mountain to stand in strength: thou didst hide thy face, [and] I was terrified.
8 Wo, Awurade na mefrɛɛ woɔ; wo hɔ na mesu mesrɛɛ mmɔborɔhunu sɛ:
Unto thee, O Lord, will I call; and unto the Lord will I make supplication.
9 “Mfasoɔ bɛn na ɛwɔ me sɛeɛ ho, sɛ mɛkɔ amena mu? Mfuturo bɛyi wo ayɛ anaa? Ɛbɛpae mu aka wo nokorɛdie anaa?
What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the grave? Shall the dust thank thee? shall it announce thy truth?
10 Tie me, Ao Awurade, na hunu me mmɔbɔ! Ao Awurade, yɛ me ɔboafoɔ.”
Hear, O Lord, and be gracious unto me: Lord, be thou a helper unto me.
11 Wodanee mʼagyaadwotwa yɛɛ no asa; woyii mʼayitoma firii me ho na wode anigyeɛ firaa me,
Thou hast changed my mourning into dancing for me; thou hast loosened my sack-cloth, and girded me with joy.
12 sɛ mʼakoma bɛto nnwom ama wo na ɛrenyɛ komm. Ao Awurade me Onyankopɔn, mɛda wo ase daa. Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ.
To the end that my glorious soul may sing praise to thee, and never be silent. O Lord my God, for ever will I give thanks unto thee.
