< Nnwom 28 >
1 Dawid dwom. Wo na mesu mefrɛ wo, Ao Awurade me Botan; nsi wʼaso wɔ me enti. Sɛ woyɛ komm a, mɛyɛ sɛ wɔn a wɔasiane kɔ amena mu no.
David’s. Unto thee, O Yahweh, do I cry, O my Rock! do not turn in silence from me, —lest, if thou turn from me in silence, I be like them who go down into the pit.
2 Tie me mmɔborɔ su ɛberɛ a mefrɛ wo pɛ mmoa ɛberɛ a mema me nsa so kyerɛ wo Tenabea Kronkron hɔ.
Hear the voice of my supplication, when I cry to thee for help, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy shrine.
3 Mfa me mfra amumuyɛfoɔ mu ntwe me nkɔ wɔn a wɔyɛ bɔne no. Wɔne wɔn yɔnkonom kasa fɛfɛ nanso wɔde ɔtan sie wɔn akoma mu.
Do not drag me away—with the lawless, or with the workers of iniquity, —who speak peaceably with their neighbours, but, wrong, is in their heart.
4 Twe wɔn aso wɔ deɛ wɔayɛ no so; wɔn adwuma bɔne no so; tua deɛ wɔde wɔn nsa ayɛ so ka na fa deɛ ɛfata wɔn sane bra wɔn so.
Give them, according to their deed, and, according to the wrong of their practices, —According to the work of their own hands, give thou unto them, Bring back their own dealing to themselves.
5 Sɛ wɔmmu deɛ Awurade ayɛ ne deɛ ɔde ne nsa ayɛ no enti, ɔbɛbrɛ wɔn ase na ɔremma wɔnnsɔre bio.
Because they heed not The Deeds of Yahweh, or the Work of his hands, he will pull them down, and not build them.
6 Ayɛyie nka Awurade, ɛfiri sɛ watie me mmɔborɔ su.
Blessed be Yahweh, Because he hath heard the voice of my supplication.
7 Awurade ne mʼahoɔden ne mʼakokyɛm; mʼakoma wɔ ne mu ahotosoɔ, na ɔboa me. Mʼakoma di ahurisie na mede dwomtoɔ bɛda no ase.
Yahweh, is my strength and my shield, In him, hath trusted my heart, and I have found help, —Therefore hath my heart danced for joy, and, with my song, do I praise him.
8 Awurade yɛ ahoɔden ma ne nkurɔfoɔ; ne nkwagyeɛ nsraban ma deɛ wɔasra no ngo.
Yahweh, is strength to his people, —And, the all-saving refuge of his Anointed One, is he!
9 Gye wo nkurɔfoɔ na hyira wʼagyapadeɛ; yɛ wɔn hwefoɔ, na wo ne wɔn nnante afebɔɔ.
Oh save thy people, and bless thine inheritance, Tend them also, and carry them, Unto times age-abiding.
