Nnwom 26

1 Dawid dwom. Bu me bem, Ao Awurade, ɛfiri sɛ, mabɔ bra a asɛm nni ho: mede me ho too Awurade so na manhinhim.

[A Psalm] of David. Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip.

2 Sɔ me hwɛ, Ao Awurade, hwehwɛ mʼakoma ne mʼadwene mu.

Prove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart:

3 Wʼadɔeɛ wɔ mʼanim daa na mɛnante wo nokorɛ mu.

For thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth.

4 Me ne nnaadaafoɔ ntena na me ne nyaatwomfoɔ nso nni hwee yɛ.

I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers;

5 Mekyiri nnebɔneyɛfoɔ dwabɔ na mempɛ sɛ me ne amumuyɛfoɔ tena.

I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.

6 Mehohoro me nsa wɔ bembuo mu, na makɔ wʼafɔrebukyia ho ahyia, Ao Awurade,

I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,

7 na mepae mu ka wʼayɛyie na meka wʼanwanwadeɛ nyinaa.

That I may cause the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and declare all thy marvellous works.

8 Mʼani gye efie a wote mu ho, Ao Awurade, baabi a wʼanimuonyam wɔ no.

Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.

9 Mfa me kra nka nnebɔneyɛfoɔ deɛ ho nkɔ. Mfa me nkwa nka mogyapɛfoɔ deɛ ho,

Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;

10 wɔn a amumuyɛ nhyehyɛeɛ wɔ wɔn nsam na adanmudeɛ ayɛ wɔn nsa nifa ma.

In whose hands are evil devices, and their right hand is full of bribes.

11 Nanso mebɔ ɔbra a ɛho teɛ. Hu me mmɔbɔ na gye me nkwa.

But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity. Redeem me, and be gracious unto me.

12 Me nan sisi asase tamaa so; na dwabɔ akɛseɛ ase na mɛkamfo Awurade.

My foot standeth in an even place; in the congregations will I bless Jehovah.
