1 Monkamfo Awurade. Monto dwom foforɔ mma Awurade, monkamfo no wɔ ahotefoɔ asafo mu.

Praise ye Yah, Sing to Yahweh a song that is new, his praise in the convocation of the men of lovingkindness.

2 Ma Israel ani nnye ne Yɛfoɔ mu. Ma Sion mma ani nnye wɔn Ɔhene mu.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him, Let the sons of Zion exult in their king;

3 Ma wɔmfa asa nkamfo ne din na wɔmfa sankuo ne akasaeɛ nto dwom mma no.

Let them praise his Name in the dance, with timbrel and lyre, Let them make music to him.

4 Na Awurade ani sɔ ne nkurɔfoɔ; ɔde nkwagyeɛ kyɛ hyɛ ahobrɛasefoɔ.

For Yahweh is taking pleasure in his people, He will beautify humbled ones with victory.

5 Momma ahotefoɔ nni ahurisie wɔ animuonyam yi mu; na wɔnto ahosɛpɛ dwom wɔ wɔn mpa so.

Let the men of lovingkindness exult as they glory, Let them shout aloud upon their beds:

6 Onyankopɔn nkamfo nhyɛ wɔn anomu na ɛnyɛ akofena anofanu wɔ wɔn nsam,

The high songs of GOD be in their throat, and a two-edged sword in their hand:

7 sɛ wɔmfa ntɔ werɛ wɔ amanaman no so ne asotwe wɔ nnipa no so,

To execute an avenging among the nations, rebukes among the peoples:

8 sɛ wɔmfa nyɛ nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn nkyekyere wɔn ahemfo, ne dadeɛ mpɔkyerɛ ngu wɔn atitire,

To bind their kings with fetters, and their honoured ones with iron bands:

9 sɛ wɔmfa mmu atɛn sɛdeɛ wɔatwerɛ atia wɔn no. Yei ne nʼahotefoɔ nyinaa animuonyam. Monkamfo Awurade.

To execute upon them the sentence written, An honour, shall it be to all his men of lovingkindness. Praise ye Yah!
