1 Monkamfo Awurade! Monkamfo Awurade mfiri ɔsorosoro, monkamfo no wɔ ɔsoro sorɔnsorɔmmea.

Hallelujah! Praise Jehovah from the heavens; praise him in the heights.

2 Nʼabɔfoɔ nyinaa, monkamfo no, ne ɔsoro asafo nyinaa, monkamfo no.

Praise ye him, all his angels; praise ye him, all his hosts.

3 Owia ne ɔsrane, monkamfo no, nsoromma a ɛhran nyinaa, monkamfo no.

Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all ye stars of light.

4 Monkamfo no, ɔsoro mu ɔsoro ne mo nsuo a mowɔ ɔsoro atifi.

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens.

5 Momma wɔn nyinaa nkamfo Awurade din, ɛfiri sɛ ɔno na ɔhyɛeɛ na wɔbɔɔ wɔn.

Let them praise the name of Jehovah, for he it is that commanded, and they were created:

6 Ɔde wɔn sisii hɔ afebɔɔ; na wahyɛ nʼasɛm a ɛrentwam da.

And he established them for ever and ever; he made [for them] a statute which shall not pass.

7 Monkamfo Awurade mfiri asase so, mo, ɛpo kɛseɛ mu abɔdeɛ ne ɛpo bunu nyinaa,

Praise Jehovah from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps;

8 anyinam ne asukɔtweaa, sukyerɛmma ne omununkum, ahum a moyɛ nʼapɛdeɛ,

Fire and hail, snow and vapour, stormy wind fulfilling his word;

9 mo, mmepɔ ne nkokoɔ nyinaa, nnua a ɛso aba ne ntweneduro nyinaa,

Mountains and all hills, fruit-trees and all cedars;

10 wira mu mmoa ne anantwie, abɔdeɛ nketewa ne nnomaa a wɔtuo,

Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and winged fowl;

11 asase ne amanaman nyinaa so ahemfo, mo, mmapɔmma ne asase sodifoɔ nyinaa,

Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all judges of the earth;

12 mmeranteɛ ne mmabaawa mmasiriwa ne mmɔfra nso.

Both young men and maidens, old men with youths, —

13 Ma wɔnkamfo Awurade din, na ne din so sene edin biara; nʼanimuonyam korɔn wɔ asase ne ɔsoro so.

Let them praise the name of Jehovah: for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above the earth and the heavens.

14 Wapagya abɛn bi ama ne nkurɔfoɔ, ama nʼahotefoɔ nyinaa animuonyam, Israelfoɔ, nnipa a wɔda nʼakoma so no. Monkamfo Awurade.

And he hath lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints, [even] of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Hallelujah!
