Nnwom 145
1 Ayɛyie dwom. Dawid deɛ. Mɛma wo so, me Onyankopɔn, me Ɔhene; mɛkamfo wo din daa daa.
“A hymn of praise by David.” I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2 Ɛda biara, mɛkamfo wo; na mama wo din so daa daa.
Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 Awurade so, na ɔsɛ nkamfo kɛseɛ; obiara rentumi nsusu ne kɛseyɛ.
Great is the Lord, and greatly praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 Awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ baako bɛkamfo wo nnwuma akyerɛ ɔfoforɔ; wɔbɛka wo nnwuma akɛseɛ ho asɛm.
One generation shall praise thy works to the other, and thy mighty acts shall they declare.
5 Wɔbɛka wʼanimuonyam ne wo tumi a ɛhran no ho asɛm, na mɛdwene wʼanwanwadwuma ho.
On the majestic glory of thy excellence, and on thy wondrous deeds will I meditate.
6 Wɔbɛka wo nnwuma a ɛyɛ hu no mu tumi ho asɛm; na mapae mu aka wo nneyɛɛ akɛseɛ no akyerɛ.
And of the might of thy terrible acts shall men converse: and thy greatness will I relate.
7 Wɔbɛhyɛ wo papayɛ mmorosoɔ no ho fa, na wɔde anigyeɛ ato wo tenenee ho dwom.
The memorial of thy abundant goodness shall they loudly proclaim, and they shall sing joyfully of thy righteousness.
8 Awurade yɛ ɔdomfoɔ ne mmɔborɔhunufoɔ; ne bo kyɛre fu na nʼadɔeɛ dɔɔso.
Gracious and merciful is the Lord, long-suffering, and great in kindness.
9 Awurade yɛ ma obiara; na ɔwɔ ahummɔborɔ ma nʼabɔdeɛ nyinaa.
The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are over all his works.
10 Ao Awurade, wʼabɔdeɛ nyinaa bɛkamfo wo; na wʼahotefoɔ bɛma wo so.
All thy works shall thank thee, O Lord; and thy pious servants shall bless thee.
11 Wɔbɛka wʼahennie no animuonyam ho asɛm na wɔaka wo mmaninyɛ ho asɛm,
Of the glory of thy kingdom shall they converse, and of thy might shall they speak:
12 sɛ ɛbɛyɛ a nnipa bɛhunu wo nnwuma akɛseɛ ne wʼahennie animuonyam a ɛhran no.
To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
13 Wʼahennie yɛ daa ahennie, na wo tumidie wɔ hɔ ma awoɔ ntoantoasoɔ nyinaa. Awurade di ne bɔhyɛ nyinaa so, na ɔwɔ ɔdɔ ma biribiara a wayɛ.
Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all eternities, and thy dominion [subsisteth] throughout all generations.
14 Awurade wowa wɔn a wɔhwe ase na ɔpagya wɔn a wɔn nnesoa ama wɔakom.
The Lord upholdeth all who are falling, and raiseth up all those who are bowed down.
15 Ani nyinaa hwɛ wo ɛkwan, na woma wɔn wɔn aduane wɔ ne berɛ mu.
The eyes of all wait hopefully upon thee, and thou givest them their food in its due season.
16 Wobue wo nsam na woma biribiara a ɛwɔ nkwa no nʼapɛdeɛ.
Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17 Awurade tene wɔ nʼakwan nyinaa mu; na ɔyɛ adɔeɛ ma deɛ wayɛ nyinaa.
Righteous is the Lord in all his ways, and beneficent in all his works.
18 Awurade bɛn wɔn a wɔfrɛ no nyinaa, wɔn a wɔfrɛ no nokorɛ mu nyinaa.
The Lord is nigh unto all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
19 Ɔyɛ wɔn a wɔsuro no no apɛdeɛ ma wɔn; ɔtie wɔn sufrɛ na ɔgye wɔn.
The desire of those who fear him will he fulfill, and their cry will he hear, and save them.
20 Awurade hwɛ wɔn a wɔdɔ no nyinaa so, nanso amumuyɛfoɔ deɛ, ɔbɛsɛe wɔn nyinaa.
The Lord preserveth all those who love him; but all the wicked will he destroy.
21 Mʼano bɛkamfo Awurade. Ma abɔdeɛ nyinaa nkamfo ne din kronkron no daa daa.
The praise of the Lord shall my mouth speak: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
