1 Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ no. Dawid dwom. Ɔkwasea ka wɔ nʼakoma mu sɛ, “Onyankopɔn bi nni hɔ.” Wɔaporɔ, na wɔn nneyɛɛ yɛ fi na wɔn mu biara nni hɔ a ɔyɛ ade pa.
To the Chief Musician. David’s. The impious hath said in his heart—There is no God! They have acted corruptly, they have done an abominable deed, there is none that doeth good.
2 Awurade firi ɔsoro hwɛ adasamma sɛ ɔbɛhunu wɔn mu bi a wɔwɔ nteaseɛ, anaa ebinom a wɔhwehwɛ Onyankopɔn.
Yahweh, out of the heavens, looked down over the sons of men, —to see whether there was one that showed wisdom, enquiring after God: —
3 Nanso nnipa nyinaa atwe wɔn ho afiri Onyankopɔn ho; wɔn nyinaa ayɛ bɔne. Obiara nni hɔ a ɔyɛ papa. Ɔbaako mpo nni hɔ.
The whole, have turned aside, Together have they become tainted, —There is none that doeth good, not so much as, one!
4 Enti nnebɔneyɛfoɔ rensua nyansa anaa? Wɔwe me nkurɔfoɔ te sɛ deɛ nnipa di aduane. Wɔnnsu mfrɛ Awurade?
Are all the workers of iniquity, without knowledge? devouring my people [as] they devour food! Upon Yahweh, have they not called.
5 Wɔn nie, ehu akyekyere wɔn, ɛfiri sɛ Onyankopɔn te wɔn a wɔtene mu.
There have they been in great dread, because, God, is in the circle of the righteous man.
6 Mo nnebɔneyɛfoɔ sɛe ahiafoɔ nhyehyɛeɛ, nanso, Awurade ne wɔn dwanekɔbea.
The purpose of the poor, ye would put to shame, because, Yahweh, is his refuge.
7 Ao, ma Israel nkwagyeɛ mfiri Sion mmra! Awurade bɛsane de ne nkurɔfoɔ agyapadeɛ ama wɔn. Na Yakob adi ahurisie, na Israel ani agye!
Oh that, out of Zion, were granted the salvation of Israel! When Yahweh bringeth back the captives of his people, Jacob, shall exult, Israel, be glad.
