1 Nhyira nka wɔn a wɔn akwan yɛ pɛ na wɔnante sɛdeɛ Awurade mmara kyerɛ.
Happy they whose life is blameless, who walk by the law of the Lord.
2 Nhyira nka wɔn a wɔkora nʼahyɛdeɛ, na wɔfiri wɔn akoma nyinaa mu hwehwɛ no.
Happy they who keep his charges, and seek him with all their hearts;
3 Wɔnnyɛ mfomsoɔ biara; na wɔnam nʼakwan so.
who have done no wrong, but walk in his ways.
4 Woayɛ nkyerɛkyerɛ pa ato hɔ a ɛsɛ sɛ wɔdi so pɛpɛɛpɛ.
You yourself have appointed your precepts to be kept with diligence.
5 Ao sɛ mʼakwan bɛyɛ tee sɛdeɛ wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm no teɛ.
O to be steadily guided in the keeping of your statutes!
6 Sɛ mehwɛ wʼahyɛdeɛ no a ɛnneɛ, anka mʼanim rengu ase.
Then unashamed shall I be, when I look towards all your commandments.
7 Mede akoma a emu teɛ bɛkamfo wo ɛberɛ a meresua wo mmara a ɛtene no.
I will thank you with heart unfeigned, when I learn your righteous judgments.
8 Mɛdi wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm so; na nnya me korakora.
I will observe your statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
9 Aberanteɛ bɛyɛ dɛn na nʼakwan ho ate? Ɛsɛ sɛ ɔdi wʼasɛm so.
How can a young person keep their life pure? By giving heed to your word.
10 Mede mʼakoma nyinaa hwehwɛ wo; mma me mmane mfiri wo mmaransɛm ho.
With all my heart have I sought you, let me not stray from your commandments.
11 Mede wʼasɛm asie mʼakoma mu sɛdeɛ merenyɛ bɔne ntia wo.
In my heart have I treasured your word, to keep from sinning against you.
12 Ao Awurade, nkamfo wɔ wo; kyerɛkyerɛ me wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm.
Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes.
13 Mede mʼano ka mmara a ɛfiri wʼanomu nyinaa.
With my lips have I rehearsed all the judgments of your mouth.
14 Mʼani gye sɛ medi wʼahyɛdeɛ so te sɛdeɛ obi anigye ahonya bebree ho no.
I delight in the way of your charges, more than in riches of all sorts.
15 Medwendwene wo nkyerɛkyerɛ ho na mehwehwɛ wʼakwan mu.
I will muse upon your precepts, and look to your paths.
16 Mʼani gye wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm ho; na merentoto wʼasɛm ase.
In your statutes I delight, I will not forget your word.
17 Yɛ wo ɔsomfoɔ yie; na matena ase adi wʼasɛm so.
Grant that your servant may live, and I will observe your word.
18 Bue mʼani na menhunu anwanwadeɛ a ɛwɔ wo mmara no mu.
Open my eyes, that I see wondrous things out of your law.
19 Meyɛ ɔnanani wɔ asase so; mfa wo mmaransɛm no nhinta me.
But a guest am I on the earth: hide not your commandments from me.
20 Me kra tɔ baha ɛberɛ biara wɔ wo mmara ho anigyina enti.
My heart is crushed with longing for your ordinances, at all times.
21 Woka ahantanfoɔ anim, wɔn a wɔadome wɔn, na wɔmane firi wo mmaransɛm ho no.
You rebuke the proud, the accursed, who wander from your commandments.
22 Yi kasatia ne animtiabuo firi me mu, ɛfiri sɛ medi wʼahyɛdeɛ so.
Roll away from me scorn and contempt, for I have observed your charges.
23 Ɛwom sɛ sodifoɔ hyia di me ho nsekuro, nanso wo ɔsomfoɔ bɛdwendwene wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm ho.
Though princes sit plotting against me, your servant will muse on your statutes.
24 Wʼahyɛdeɛ yɛ mʼanigyedeɛ na ɛyɛ me fotufoɔ.
Your charges are my delight, they are my counsellors.
25 Woabrɛ me ase ma meda mfuturo mu. Kyɛe me nkwa so sɛdeɛ wʼasɛm no teɛ.
I lie grovelling in the dust; revive me, as you have promised.
26 Mesesee mʼakwan na wogyee me so; kyerɛkyerɛ me wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm.
I told of my ways, you made answer; teach me your statutes.
27 Ma mente deɛ ɛwɔ wo nkyerɛkyerɛ mu ase; na mɛdwendwene wʼanwanwadeɛ ho.
Grant me insight into your precepts, and I will muse on your wonders.
28 Awerɛhoɔ ama me ɔkra atɔ baha; hyɛ me den sɛdeɛ wʼasɛm no kyerɛ.
I am overcome with sorrow; raise me up, as you have promised.
29 Yi me firi nnaadaa akwan so; na fa wo mmara so dom me.
Put the way of falsehood from me, and graciously grant me your law.
30 Mafa nokorɛ kwan no so; mede mʼakoma adi wo mmara akyi.
I have chosen the way of fidelity, your ordinances I long for.
31 Ao Awurade, mekura wo nkyerɛkyerɛ mu denden mma mʼanim ngu ase.
I hold fast to your charges: O put me not, Lord, to shame.
32 Metu mmirika wɔ wo mmaransɛm kwan no so, ɛfiri sɛ wama mʼakoma atɔ me yam.
I will run in the way of your commandments, for you give me room of heart.
33 Kyerɛkyerɛ me, Ao Awurade, na menni wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm so, na mɛdi so akɔsi awieeɛ.
Teach me, O Lord, the way of your statutes, and I will keep it to the end,
34 Ma me nteaseɛ, na mɛdi wo mmara so, na mede mʼakoma nyinaa bɛdi so.
instruct me to keep your law, and I will observe it with all my heart.
35 Kyerɛ me wo mmaransɛm kwan no na ɛhɔ na menya anigyeɛ.
Guide me in the path of your commandments, for therein do I delight.
36 Dane mʼakoma kɔ wʼahyɛdeɛ ho na ɛmfiri pɛsɛmenkomenya ho.
Incline my heart to your charges, and not to greed of gain.
37 Yi mʼani firi nneɛma hunu so; na kyɛe me nkwa so sɛdeɛ wʼasɛm teɛ.
Turn away my eyes from vain sights, revive me by your word.
38 Di ɛbɔ a woahyɛ wo ɔsomfoɔ no so, na wasuro wo.
Confirm to your servant the promise which is given to those who fear you.
39 Yi animguaseɛ a ɛbɔ me hu no firi hɔ, ɛfiri sɛ wo mmara yɛ papa.
Remove the reproach which I dread, because your judgments are good.
40 Mʼani agyina wo nkyerɛkyerɛ no! Kyɛe me nkwa so wɔ wo tenenee mu.
Behold, I long for your precepts. Quicken me in your righteousness.
41 Ao Awurade, ma wo dɔ a ɛnsa da no mmra me so, wo nkwagyeɛ no sɛdeɛ wo bɔhyɛ no teɛ.
Visit me, Lord, with your love and salvation, as you have promised.
42 Afei, mɛbua deɛ ɔyi me ahi no, ɛfiri sɛ mewɔ wʼasɛm mu ahotosoɔ.
So shall I answer my slanderers, for my trust is in your word.
43 Nyi nokwasɛm no mfiri mʼanom, ɛfiri sɛ mʼanidasoɔ wɔ wo mmara mu.
Snatch not from my mouth the word of truth, for in your judgments I hope.
44 Mɛdi wo mmara so ɛberɛ biara akɔsi daa apem.
I will keep your law continually, for ever and evermore.
45 Mede ahofadie bɛnante ɛfiri sɛ mahwehwɛ wo nkyerɛkyerɛ.
So shall I walk in wide spaces, for I give my mind to your precepts.
46 Mɛka wʼahyɛdeɛ ho asɛm wɔ ahemfo anim na mʼanim rengu ase,
I will speak of your charge before kings, and will not be ashamed thereof.
47 ɛfiri sɛ mʼani gye wo mmaransɛm ho na medɔ no.
Your commandments are my delight, I love them exceedingly.
48 Mede anidie ma wo mmaransɛm a medɔ no, na medwendwene wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm ho.
I will lift up my hands to your commandments, and muse upon your statutes.
49 Kae asɛm a woaka akyerɛ wo ɔsomfoɔ, ɛfiri sɛ woama me anidasoɔ.
Remember your word to your servant, on which you have made me to hope.
50 Mʼawerɛkyekyerɛ wɔ mʼamanehunu mu ne sɛ: Wo bɔhyɛ kyɛe me nkwa so.
This is my comfort in trouble, that your word gives life to me.
51 Ahantanfoɔ bu me animtia bebree, nanso mennane mfiri wo mmara ho.
The arrogant utterly scorn me, but I have not declined from your law.
52 Ao Awurade mekae wo tete mmara no, na menya awerɛkyekyerɛ wɔ mu.
When I think of your judgments of old, O Lord, I take to me comfort.
53 Abufuo hyɛ me ma, ɛsiane amumuyɛfoɔ a wɔapo wo mmara enti.
I am seized with glowing anger at the wicked who forsake your law.
54 Wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm yɛ me dwom tiban wɔ baabiara a mesoɛ.
Your statutes have been to me songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 Ao Awurade, anadwo mekae wo din, na mɛdi wo mmara so.
I remember your name in the night, O Lord and observe your law.
56 Yei ne adeɛ a meyɛ da biara, medi wo nkyerɛkyerɛ so.
My lot has been this, that I have kept your precepts.
57 Ao Awurade, wone me kyɛfa; mahyɛ bɔ sɛ mɛdi wo nsɛm so.
My portion are you, O Lord: I have promised to keep your words.
58 Mede mʼakoma nyinaa ahwehwɛ wo; hunu me mmɔbɔ sɛdeɛ wo bɔhyɛ no teɛ.
I entreat you with all my heart; grant me your promised favor.
59 Madwene mʼakwan ho na madane mʼanammɔntuo akyerɛ wʼahyɛdeɛ.
I have thought upon my ways, and turned my feet to your charges.
60 Mɛyɛ ntɛm, merentwentwɛn sɛ mɛdi wo mmaransɛm soɔ.
I hasted and tarried not to give heed to your commandments.
61 Ɛwom sɛ amumuyɛfoɔ de ahoma kyekyere me nanso me werɛ remfiri wo mmara.
Though the godless have wound their cords round me, I have not forgotten your law.
62 Ɔdasuom, mesɔre de wʼaseda ma wo wo mmara a ɛtene enti.
At midnight I rise to praise you because of your righteous judgments.
63 Meyɛ wɔn a wɔsuro woɔ nyinaa adamfo, wɔn a wɔdi wo nkyerɛkyerɛ soɔ nyinaa.
With all those who fear you I company, aid with those who observe your precepts.
64 Ao Awurade, wʼadɔeɛ ahyɛ asase so ma; kyerɛkyerɛ me wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm.
The earth, Lord, is full of your kindness; teach me your Statutes.
65 Wo ne wo ɔsomfoɔ nni no yie sɛdeɛ wʼasɛm teɛ, Ao Awurade.
Well have you dealt with your servant, as you have promised, O Lord.
66 Kyerɛkyerɛ me nimdeɛ ne atemmuo pa, ɛfiri sɛ megye wo mmaransɛm no di.
Teach me discretion and knowledge, for I have believed your commandments.
67 Ansa na merebɛhunu amane no, mefomm ɛkwan, na seesei deɛ, medi wʼasɛm so.
Till trouble came I was a wanderer, but now I observe your word.
68 Woyɛ, na deɛ woyɛ nso yɛ; kyerɛkyerɛ me wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm.
You are good and do good; teach me your statutes.
69 Ahantanfoɔ de atorɔ afɔre me ho, nanso mede mʼakoma nyinaa di wo nkyerɛkyerɛ so.
The proud have forged lies against me, but I keep your precepts with all my heart.
70 Wɔn akoma yɛ den na wɔnni tema, nanso mʼani gye wo mmara ho.
Their heart is gross like fat, but I delight in your law.
71 Ɛyɛ sɛ mehunuu amane sɛdeɛ mɛsua wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm.
It was good for me to be humbled, that I should learn your statutes.
72 Mmara a ɛfiri wʼanomu no som bo ma me sene dwetɛ ne sikakɔkɔɔ mpempem.
The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.
73 Wo nsa na ɛbɔɔ me na ɛnwonoo me; ma me nteaseɛ a mede bɛsua wo mmaransɛm.
Your hands have made me and fashioned me; make me wise to learn your commandments.
74 Sɛ wɔn a wɔsuro wo no hunu me a, ma wɔn ani nnye, ɛfiri sɛ mede mʼanidasoɔ ahyɛ wʼasɛm mu.
Those who fear you shall see me with joy, for in your word have I hoped.
75 Ao Awurade, menim sɛ wo mmara tene, na nokorɛdie mu na woatwe mʼaso.
I know, O Lord, that your judgments are right, and in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
76 Ma wʼadɔeɛ a ɛnsa da nkyekyere me werɛ sɛdeɛ ɛbɔ a woahyɛ wo ɔsomfoɔ no teɛ.
Let your love be a comfort to me, for so have you promised your servant.
77 Ma wʼayamhyehyeɛ mmra me so, na mennya nkwa, ɛfiri sɛ mʼani ka wo mmara ho.
Visit me with your quickening pity, for your law is my delight.
78 Ma ahantanfoɔ ani nwu wɔ bɔne a wɔyɛɛ me, nanso, mɛdwendwene wo nkyerɛkyerɛ ho.
Put the proud to shame, who have wronged me falsely: I will muse on your precepts.
79 Ma wɔn a wɔsuro wo no mmra me nkyɛn, wɔn a wɔte wo mmara ase no.
Let those turn to me who fear you, that they may learn your charges.
80 Ma mʼakoma nnya bembuo wɔ wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm ho, na mʼanim angu ase.
Let my heart be sound in your statutes, that I may not be put to shame.
81 Wo nkwagyeɛ ho anigyina ama me ɔkra atɔ baha, nanso mede mʼanidasoɔ ahyɛ wʼasɛm mu.
My long for you to rescue me, I put my hope in your word.
82 Mahwɛ wo bɔhyɛ anim ama mʼani abu; meka sɛ, “Da bɛn na wobɛkyekyere me werɛ?”
My eyes pine away for your promise: saying, “When will you comfort me?”
83 Ɛwom sɛ mete sɛ nsã kotokuo a ɛsɛn wisie ano deɛ, nanso me werɛ remfiri wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm.
Though shrivelled like wine-skin in smoke, your statutes I have not forgotten.
84 Wo ɔsomfoɔ ntwɛn nkɔsi da bɛn? Da bɛn na wobɛtwe wɔn a wɔtaa me no aso?
How few are the days of your servant! When will you judge those who harass me?
85 Ahantanfoɔ atu amena de asum me afidie, a ɛne wo mmara bɔ abira.
Proud people have dug for me pits people who do not conform to your law.
86 Wo mmaransɛm nyinaa mu wɔ ahotosoɔ; boa me ɛfiri sɛ nnipa teetee me kwa.
All your commandments are trusty. With falsehood they harass me: help me.
87 Ɛkaa kakra bi na wɔyi me firi asase so, nanso mennyaa wo nkyerɛkyerɛ so die.
They had nearly made an end of me, yet I did not forget your precepts.
88 Kyɛe me nkwa so sɛdeɛ wʼadɔeɛ teɛ, na mɛdi nkyerɛkyerɛ a ɛfiri wʼanomu no so.
Spare me in your kindness, and I will observe the charge of your mouth.
89 Ao Awurade, wʼasɛm no tim hɔ daa; ɛgyina hɔ pintinn wɔ ɔsorosoro.
Forever, O Lord, is your word fixed firmly in the heavens.
90 Wo nokorɛdie kɔ so wɔ awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ nyinaa mu; wode asase sii hɔ, na ɛtim hɔ.
Your truth endures age after age; it is established on earth, and it stands.
91 Wo mmara wɔ hɔ bɛsi ɛnnɛ, na nneɛma nyinaa som wo.
By your appointment they stand this day, for all are your servants.
92 Sɛ mʼani anka wo mmara no ho a, anka mʼamanehunu akum me.
Had not your law been my joy, in my misery then had I perished.
93 Me werɛ remfiri wo nkyerɛkyerɛ no, ɛfiri sɛ ɛno so na wonam akyɛe me nkwa so.
I will never forget your precepts, for through them you have put life in me.
94 Gye me nkwa, na meyɛ wo dea; na mahwehwɛ wo nkyerɛkyerɛ no.
I am yours, O save me, for I give my mind to your precepts.
95 Amumuyɛfoɔ retwɛn sɛ wɔbɛsɛe me, nanso, mɛdwendwene wʼahyɛdeɛ ho.
The wicked lay wait to destroy me, but I give heed to your charge.
96 Mahunu sɛ pɛyɛ nyinaa wɔ deɛ ɛkɔpem; nanso wo mmaransɛm no nni hyeɛ.
I have seen a limit to all things: but your commandment is spacious exceedingly.
97 Ao medɔ wo mmara no! Medwendwene ho ɛda mu nyinaa.
O how I love your law! All the day long I muse on it.
98 Wo mmaransɛm ma me hunu nyansa sene mʼatamfoɔ, ɛfiri sɛ ɛwɔ me nkyɛn daa.
Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies: for it is mine forever.
99 Mewɔ nhunumu sene mʼakyerɛkyerɛfoɔ nyinaa, ɛfiri sɛ medwendwene wʼahyɛdeɛ ho.
I am prudent above all my teachers, for your charges are my (meditation)
100 Mewɔ nteaseɛ sene mpanimfoɔ, ɛfiri sɛ medi wo nkyerɛkyerɛ so.
I have insight more than the aged, because I observe your precepts.
101 Memfaa me nan nsii ɛkwan bɔne biara so sɛdeɛ mɛtumi ayɛ ɔsetie ama wʼasɛm.
I refrain my foot from all wicked ways, that I may keep your word.
102 Memmane memfirii wo mmara ho, ɛfiri sɛ wʼankasa na woakyerɛkyerɛ me.
I turn not aside from your judgments, for you yourself are my teacher.
103 Wo nsɛm yɛ me dɛ, ɛyɛ dɛ sene ɛwoɔ wɔ mʼanom.
How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 Menya nteaseɛ firi wo nkyerɛkyerɛ mu; enti mekyiri ɛkwan bɔne biara.
Insight I win through your precepts, therefore every false way I hate.
105 Wʼasɛm yɛ me nan ase kanea ne mʼakwan so hann.
Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
106 Maka ntam ahyɛ mu kena sɛ mɛdi wo tenenee mmara no so.
I have sworn an oath, and will keep it, to observe your righteous judgments.
107 Mahunu amane bebree; kyɛe me nkwa so, Ao Awurade, sɛdeɛ wʼasɛm teɛ.
I am afflicted sorely: revive me, O Lord, as you said.
108 Ao Awurade, ma wʼani nsɔ mʼanom nkamfo a ɛfiri me pɛ mu, na kyerɛkyerɛ me wo mmara.
Accept, Lord, my willing praise, and teach me your judgments.
109 Ɛwom sɛ daa metoto me nkwa ase, nanso me werɛ remfiri wo mmara.
My life is in ceaseless peril; but I do not forget your law.
110 Amumuyɛfoɔ asum me afidie nanso memfom memfirii wo nkyerɛkyerɛ ho.
The wicked set traps for me, yet I do not stray from your precepts.
111 Wʼahyɛdeɛ yɛ mʼagyapadeɛ afebɔɔ; ɛma mʼakoma ani gye.
In your charges are my everlasting inheritance, they are the joy of my heart.
112 Mʼakoma ayɛ krado sɛ ɛbɛhwɛ wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm so akɔsi awieeɛ.
I am resolved to perform your statutes forever, to the utmost.
113 Mekyiri nnipa a wɔn adwene yɛ wɔn ntanta, na medɔ wo mmara.
I hate people of divided heart, but your law do I love.
114 Wone me dwanekɔbea ne me kyɛm; mede mʼanidasoɔ ahyɛ wʼasɛm mu.
You are my shelter and shield: in your word do I hope.
115 Momfiri me so nkɔ, mo nnebɔneyɛfoɔ, na menni me Onyankopɔn mmaransɛm so!
Begone, you wicked people, I will keep the commands of my God.
116 Wowa me sɛdeɛ wo bɔhyɛ no teɛ, na mɛtena nkwa mu; mma mʼanidasoɔ nyɛ kwa.
Uphold me and spare me, as you have promised: O disappoint me not.
117 Sɔ me mu, na menya nkwagyeɛ; na ɛberɛ biara mɛhwɛ wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm no.
Hold me up, and I shall be saved: and your statutes shall be my unceasing delight.
118 Wopo wɔn a wɔfom wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm nyinaa, na wɔn nnaadaa no yɛ ɔkwa.
All who swerve from your statutes you spurn: their cunning is in vain.
119 Woyi amumuyɛfoɔ nyinaa si nkyɛn sɛ dadeben; enti medɔ wʼahyɛdeɛ.
All the wicked of earth you count as dross, therefore I love your charges.
120 Wo ho suro ma me ho popo; wo mmara abɔ me hu.
My flesh, for fear of you, shudders, and I stand in awe of your judgments.
121 Mayɛ deɛ ɛtene na ɛyɛ pɛ. Nnyaa me mma wɔn a wɔhyɛ me soɔ!
Justice and right have I practised, do not leave me to my oppressors.
122 Hwɛ ma wo ɔsomfoɔ nni yie; mma ahantanfoɔ nhyɛ me so.
Be your servant’s surety for good, let not the proud oppress me.
123 Mahwɛ wo nkwagyeɛ anim ama mʼani abu, ɛrehwehwɛ wo bɔhyɛ a ɛtene no.
My eyes pine for your salvation, and for your righteous promise.
124 Wo ne wo ɔsomfoɔ nni no sɛdeɛ wʼadɔeɛ teɛ na kyerɛkyerɛ me wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm.
Deal in your love with your servant, and teach me your statutes.
125 Meyɛ wo ɔsomfoɔ; ma me nhunumu na mate wʼahyɛdeɛ ase.
Your servant am I; instruct me, that I may know your charges.
126 Ao Awurade, ɛberɛ aso sɛ woyɛ biribi; wɔrebu wo mmara so.
It is time for the Lord to act: they have violated your law.
127 Esiane sɛ medɔ wo mmaransɛm sene sikakɔkɔɔ, anaa sikakɔkɔɔ amapa,
Therefore I love your commandments above gold, above fine gold.
128 na medwene sɛ wo nkyerɛkyerɛ nyinaa yɛ enti mekyiri ɛkwan bɔne biara.
So by all your precepts I guide me, and every false way I hate.
129 Wʼahyɛdeɛ yɛ nwanwa; enti medi so.
Your decrees are wonderful, gladly I keep them.
130 Wo nsɛm ase teɛ ma hann; na ɛma ntetekwaa nya nteaseɛ.
When your word is unfolded, light breaks; it imparts to the simple wisdom.
131 Mebue mʼanom na megu ahome, na mʼani gyina wo mmaransɛm.
With open mouth I pant with longing for your commandments.
132 Dane wʼani hwɛ me na hunu me mmɔbɔ sɛdeɛ woyɛ daa ma wɔn a wɔdɔ wo din no.
Turn to me with your favor, as is just to those who love you.
133 Tutu mʼanammɔn sɛdeɛ wʼasɛm no teɛ. Mma bɔne biara nni me so.
Steady my steps by your word, so that sin have no power over me.
134 Gye me firi nnipa nhyɛsoɔ mu, na madi wo nkyerɛkyerɛ so.
Set me free from those who oppress me, and I shall observe your precepts.
135 Ma wʼanim nhyerɛn wo ɔsomfoɔ so na kyerɛkyerɛ me wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm.
Shine with your face on your servant, and teach me your statutes.
136 Nisuo adware me sɛ asutene ɛfiri sɛ nnipa nni wo mmara so.
My eyes run down with rills of water, because your law is not kept.

Righteous are you, O Lord, and right are your ordinances.
138 Ahyɛdeɛ a woayɛ no tene; ɛyɛ deɛ wɔnya mu ahotosoɔ pa ara.
The laws you has ordered are just, and trusty exceedingly.
139 Abufuo ahyɛ me ma, ɛfiri sɛ mʼatamfoɔ bu wɔn ani gu wo nsɛm no.
My jealousy has undone me, that my foes have forgotten your words.
140 Wɔasɔ wo bɔhyɛ ahodoɔ no ahwɛ pa ara, na wo ɔsomfoɔ dɔ wɔn.
Your word has been tested well; and your servant loves it.
141 Ɛwom sɛ mennka hwee na memfra deɛ, nanso me werɛ mfiri wo nkyerɛkyerɛ.
I am little and held in contempt, but your precepts I have not forgotten.
142 Wo tenenee wɔ hɔ daa na wo mmara no yɛ nokorɛ.
Just is your justice forever, and trusty is your law.
143 Ɔhaw ne ahohiahia aduru me, nanso wo mmaransɛm ma me ahosɛpɛ.
Stress and strain are upon me, but your commandments are my delight.
144 Wʼahyɛdeɛ yɛ nokorɛ daa; ma me nteaseɛ na manya nkwa.
Right are your charges forever, instruct me that I may live.
145 Ao Awurade, mede mʼakoma nyinaa mefrɛ wo, gye me so, na mɛdi wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm no so.
With my whole heart I cry; O answer me. I would keep your statutes, O Lord.
146 Mesu mefrɛ wo, gye me nkwa na medi wʼahyɛdeɛ so.
I cry to you: O save me, and I will observe your charges.
147 Mesɔre anɔpahema, na mesu pɛ mmoa; mede me werɛ ahyɛ wo nsɛm mu.
Before dawn I cry for your help: in your word do I hope.
148 Mʼani gu so anadwo nyinaa, na mɛdwendwene wo bɔhyɛ ho.
Awake I meet the night-watches, to muse upon your sayings.
149 Tie me nne sɛdeɛ wʼadɔeɛ no teɛ; Ao Awurade, kyɛe me nkwa so sɛdeɛ wo mmara teɛ.
Hear my voice in your kindness: O Lord, by your judgments revive me.
150 Wɔn a wɔhyehyɛ atirimuɔdensɛm no abɛn, nanso wɔne wo mmara ntam ware.
Near me are wicked tormentors, who are far from thoughts of your law;
151 Ao Awurade, wo deɛ, wobɛn me, na wo mmaransɛm nyinaa yɛ nokorɛ.
but near, too, are you, O Lord, and all your commandments are trusty.
152 Mmerɛ bi a atwam no, mesuaa wʼahyɛdeɛ a wode timiiɛ hɔ sɛ ɛntena hɔ daa no.
Long have I known from your charges that you have founded them for all time.
153 Hwɛ mʼamanehunu na gye me nkwa ɛfiri sɛ me werɛ mfirii wo mmara no.
Look on my misery, and rescue me; for I do not forget your law.
154 Di mʼasɛm ma me na gye me. Kyɛe me nkwa so sɛdeɛ wo bɔhyɛ no teɛ.
Defend my cause and redeem me: revive me, as you have promised.
155 Nkwagyeɛ ne atirimuɔdenfoɔ ntam kwan ware, ɛfiri sɛ wɔnhwehwɛ wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm no.
Salvation is far from the wicked, for their mind is not in your statutes.
156 Ao Awurade, wʼayamhyehyeɛ yɛ kɛseɛ; kyɛe me nkwa so sɛdeɛ wo mmara no teɛ.
Great is your pity, O Lord: Revive me, as you have ordained.
157 Atamfoɔ a wɔteetee me dɔɔso, nanso memmane memfirii wo nhyehyɛeɛ ho.
My foes and tormentors are many, but I have not declined from your charges.
158 Mehwɛ wɔn a wɔnni gyidie no a, wɔn ho yɛ me nwunu, ɛfiri sɛ wɔnni wʼasɛm so.
I behold the traitors with loathing, for they do not observe your word.
159 Hwɛ sɛdeɛ mʼani gye wo nkyerɛkyerɛ ho; Ao Awurade, kyɛe me nkwa so sɛdeɛ wʼadɔeɛ teɛ.
Behold how I love your precepts: revive me, O Lord!, in your kindness.
160 Wo nsɛm nyinaa yɛ nokorɛ; na wo mmara a ɛtene no to rentwa da.
The sum of your word is truth, all your laws are just and eternal.
161 Sodifoɔ taataa me kwa, nanso ɛyɛ wʼasɛm nko ara na mesuro.
Princes have harassed me wantonly: but my heart stands in awe of your word.
162 Mʼani gye wo bɔhyɛ ho te sɛ obi a wanya asadeɛ kɛseɛ.
Over your word I rejoice as one who finds great spoil.
163 Mekyiri nkontompo na medɔ wo mmara.
Falsehood I hate and abhor, but your law do I love.
164 Mekamfo wo mprɛnson da biara wo mmara a ɛtene no enti.
Seven times a day do I praise you because of your righteous judgments.
165 Wɔn a wɔdɔ wo mmara no wɔ asomdwoeɛ mmoroso, na biribiara rentumi mma wɔnsunti.
Right well do they fare who love your law: they go on their way without stumbling.
166 Ao Awurade, metwɛn wo nkwagyeɛ, na medi wo mmaransɛm so.
I hope for your salvation; O Lord I do your commandments.
167 Medi wʼahyɛdeɛ so na medɔ no yie.
I observe your charges: I love them greatly.
168 Medi wo nkyerɛkyerɛ ne wʼahyɛdeɛ so, na wonim mʼakwan nyinaa.
I observe your precepts and charges: all my ways are before you.
169 Ao Awurade, ma me sufrɛ nnuru wʼanim; ma me nteaseɛ sɛdeɛ wʼasɛm no teɛ.
Let my cry come before you, O Lord: give me insight, as you have promised.
170 Ma me nkotosrɛ nnuru wʼanim; na gye me sɛdeɛ wo bɔhyɛ no teɛ.
Let my prayer enter into your presence: deliver me, as you have said.
171 Ma nkamfo nhyɛ mʼanom ma; ɛfiri sɛ wokyerɛkyerɛ me wo ɔhyɛ nsɛm.
My lips shall be fountains of praise, that you teach me your statutes.
172 Ma me tɛkrɛma nto wʼasɛm ho dwom, ɛfiri sɛ wo mmaransɛm nyinaa tene.
My tongue shall sing of your word, for all your commandments are right.
173 Yɛ ahoboa bɛboa me, ɛfiri sɛ masɔ wo nkyerɛkyerɛ no mu.
Let your hand be ready to help me, for your precepts have been my choice.
174 Ao Awurade, mʼani agyina wo nkwagyeɛ, na wo mmara yɛ mʼanigyedeɛ.
I long, Lord, for your salvation, and your law is my delight.
175 Ma me ntena nkwa mu na matumi akamfo wo, na wo mmara nso awowa me.
Revive me that I may praise you, and let your precepts help me.
176 Mafom ɛkwan sɛ odwan a wayera. Hwehwɛ wo ɔsomfoɔ, ɛfiri sɛ me werɛ mfirii wo mmaransɛm no.
I have strayed like a wandering sheep seek your servant, because I do not forget your commandments.
