1 Monkamfo Awurade. Ao, mo Awurade asomfoɔ, monkamfo no, monkamfo Awurade din.
Hallelujah. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise ye the name of the Lord.
2 Momma wɔnkamfo Awurade din, seesei ne daa nyinaa.
Let the name of the Lord be blessed from this time forth and for evermore.
3 Ɛfiri baabi a owia pue kɔsi faako a ɔkɔtɔ, ma wɔnkamfo Awurade din.
From the rising of the sun unto his going down the name of the Lord is praised.
4 Wɔama Awurade so aman nyinaa so, nʼanimuonyam tra ɔsorosoro.
High above all nations is the Lord, above the heavens is his glory.
5 Hwan na ɔte sɛ Awurade yɛn Onyankopɔn, Ɔbaako no a ɔdi ɔhene wɔ ɔsorosoro,
Who is like the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high?
6 ɔno na ɔbɔ ne mu ase hwɛ ɔsorosoro ne asase.
Who condescendeth to view what is done in the heavens, and on the earth?
7 Ɔma ahiafoɔ so firi mfuturo mu na ɔpagya onnibie firi nso sie so;
He raiseth up out of the dust the poor, from the dunghill he lifteth up the needy:
8 ɔde wɔn tena mmapɔmma mu, wɔn nkurɔfoɔ mmapɔmma mu.
That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
9 Ɔbɔ obonini atenaseɛ wɔ ne fie sɛ ɔbaatan a nʼani gyeɛ. Monkamfo Awurade.
He causeth the barren woman to dwell in the midst of [her] household, the joyful mother of children. Hallelujah.
