1 Monkamfo Awurade. Ao, mo Awurade asomfoɔ, monkamfo no, monkamfo Awurade din.
Alleluia. Praise the Lord, you servants [of his], praise, the name of the Lord.
2 Momma wɔnkamfo Awurade din, seesei ne daa nyinaa.
Let the name of the Lord be blessed, from this present time and for ever.
3 Ɛfiri baabi a owia pue kɔsi faako a ɔkɔtɔ, ma wɔnkamfo Awurade din.
From the rising of the sun to his setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised.
4 Wɔama Awurade so aman nyinaa so, nʼanimuonyam tra ɔsorosoro.
The Lord is high above all the nations; his glory is above the heavens.
5 Hwan na ɔte sɛ Awurade yɛn Onyankopɔn, Ɔbaako no a ɔdi ɔhene wɔ ɔsorosoro,
Who is as the Lord our God? who dwells in the high places,
6 ɔno na ɔbɔ ne mu ase hwɛ ɔsorosoro ne asase.
and [yet] looks upon the low things in heaven, and on the earth:
7 Ɔma ahiafoɔ so firi mfuturo mu na ɔpagya onnibie firi nso sie so;
who lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises up the needy from the dunghill;
8 ɔde wɔn tena mmapɔmma mu, wɔn nkurɔfoɔ mmapɔmma mu.
to set him with princes, [even] with the princes of his people:
9 Ɔbɔ obonini atenaseɛ wɔ ne fie sɛ ɔbaatan a nʼani gyeɛ. Monkamfo Awurade.
who settles the barren [woman] in a house, [as] a mother rejoicing over children.
