1 Monkamfo Awurade. Nhyira nka onipa a ɔsuro Awurade na ɔnya nʼahyɛdeɛ mu anigyeɛ pii.

Alleluia. Of the return of Haggai and Zachariah. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord. He will prefer his commandments exceedingly.

2 Ne mma bɛyɛ atumfoɔ wɔ asase no so; teneneefoɔ awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ bɛnya nhyira.

His offspring will be powerful on the earth. The generation of the upright will be blessed.

3 Ahonya ne sika wɔ ne fie, na ne tenenee tena hɔ daa.

Glory and wealth will be in his house, and his justice shall remain from age to age.

4 Esum mu mpo hann pue ma nnipa a wɔtene, ma ɔdomfoɔ, mmɔborɔhunufoɔ ne ɔnokwafoɔ.

For the upright, a light has risen up in the darkness. He is merciful and compassionate and just.

5 Yiedie bɛba deɛ ne tirim yɛ mmrɛ na ɔde fɛm kwa. Yiedie bɛba deɛ ɔde atɛntenenee yɛ ne nneɛma so.

Pleasing is the man who shows mercy and lends. He will order his words with judgment.

6 Ampa ara, ɔrenhinhim da biara da; wɔbɛkae onipa tenenee daa.

For he will not be disturbed in eternity.

7 Ɔte asɛmmɔne a, ɛmmɔ ne hu; nʼakoma atim wɔ Awurade mu ahotosoɔ mu.

The just one will be an everlasting memorial. He will not fear a report of disasters. His heart is prepared to hope in the Lord.

8 Nʼakoma wɔ banbɔ, na ɔnsuro; awieeɛ no, ɔde nkonimdie bɛhyia nʼatamfoɔ.

His heart has been confirmed. He will not be disturbed, until he looks down upon his enemies.

9 Ɔto nʼakyɛdeɛ pete aman so ma ahiafoɔ, ne tenenee wɔ hɔ daa; wɔbɛkae wɔn daa na wɔahyɛ wɔn animuonyam.

He has distributed, he has given to the poor. His justice shall remain from age to age. His horn shall be exalted in glory.

10 Omumuyɛfoɔ bɛhunu ama ayɛ no yea, ɔbɛtwere ne se na wafɔn; omumuyɛfoɔ tirimpɔ bɛyɛ kwa.

The sinner will see and become angry. He will gnash his teeth and waste away. The desire of sinners will perish.
