1 Monkamfo Awurade! Mɛfiri mʼakoma nyinaa mu ama Awurade so wɔ ateneneefoɔ adwabɔ ne asafo no mu.

Alleluia. I will give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart, in the council of the upright, and [in] the congregation.

2 Awurade nnwuma yɛ kɛseɛ; wɔn a wɔn ani gye ho nyinaa susu ho.

The works of the Lord are great, sought out according to all his will.

3 Ne nnwuma yɛ tumi ne animuonyam, na ne tenenee wɔ hɔ daa.

His work is [worthy of] thanksgiving and honor: and his righteousness endures for ever and ever.

4 Ɔma yɛkae nʼanwanwadeɛ; Awurade yɛ ɔdomfoɔ ne mmɔborɔhunufoɔ.

He has caused his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is merciful and compassionate.

5 Ɔma wɔn a wosuro no no aduane; ɔkae nʼapam no daa.

He has given food to them that fear him: he will remember his covenant for ever.

6 Wakyerɛ ne nkurɔfoɔ tumi a ɛwɔ ne nnwuma mu, sɛ ɔde aman afoforɔ nsase ama wɔn.

He has declared to his people the power of his works, to give them the inheritance of the heathen.

7 Ne nsa ano nnwuma yɛ nokorɛ na ɛtene; nʼahyɛdeɛ nyinaa mu wɔ ahotosoɔ.

The works of his hands are truth and judgment: all his commandments are sure:

8 Ɛtim hɔ daa daa, nokorɛ ne tenenee mu na ɔyɛeɛ.

established for ever and ever, done in truth and uprightness.

9 Ɔde ɔgyeɛ maa ne nkurɔfoɔ; ɔde nʼapam sii hɔ afebɔɔ, ne din yɛ kronkron na ɛyɛ hu.

He sent redemption to his people: he commanded his covenant for ever: holy and fearful is his name.

10 Awurade suro yɛ nyansa mfitiaseɛ; wɔn a wɔdi nʼahyɛdeɛ so nyinaa wɔ nhunumu pa. Ɔno na daa ayɛyie wɔ no.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and all that act accordingly have a good understanding; his praise endures for ever and ever.
