< Nnwom 11 >
1 Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ. Dawid dwom. Awurade mu na mede me werɛ ahyɛ. Adɛn na wotumi ka kyerɛ me sɛ, “Tu te sɛ anomaa kɔ wo bepɔ so.
Unto the end. A Psalm of David. I trust in the Lord. How can you say to my soul, “Sojourn to the mountain, like a sparrow.”
2 Na hwɛ, amumuyɛfoɔ akuntunu wɔn tadua mu, na wɔde wɔn mmɛmma asisi nhoma so sɛ wɔbɛto wɔ esum mu de awɔ akoma mu ahotefoɔ.
For behold, the sinners have bent their bow. They have prepared their arrows in the quiver, so as to shoot arrows in the dark at the upright of heart.
3 Sɛ wɔresɛe fapem no a, ɛdeɛn na ɔteneneeni bɛtumi ayɛ?”
For they have destroyed the things that you have completed. But what has the just one done?
4 Awurade wɔ nʼasɔredan kronkron no mu; Awurade te ne soro ahennwa so. Ɔhwɛ nnipa mma, nʼani hwehwɛ wɔn mu.
The Lord is in his holy temple. The Lord’s throne is in heaven. His eyes look upon the poor. His eyelids question the sons of men.
5 Awurade hwehwɛ ɔteneneeni mu, na amumuyɛfoɔ ne wɔn a wɔpɛ basabasayɛ deɛ, ne kra kyiri wɔn.
The Lord questions the just and the impious. Yet he who loves iniquity, hates his own soul.
6 Ɔbɛtɔ gyaframa ne sɔfe a ɛrederɛ agu Amumuyɛfoɔ so; na mframa a emu yɛ hyeɛ bɛyɛ wɔn kyɛfa.
He will rain down snares upon sinners. Fire and brimstone and windstorms will be the portion of their cup.
7 Awurade yɛ ɔteneneeni, na ɔpɛ atɛntenenee; wɔn a wɔtene no bɛhunu nʼanim.
For the Lord is just, and he has chosen justice. His countenance has beheld equity.
