1 Ɛda Awurade ase na da ne kɛseyɛ adi. Ma ewiase nyinaa nhunu deɛ wayɛ.
Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples.
2 Monto dwom mma no, monto ayɛyie dwom mma no; monka nʼanwanwadeɛ no nyinaa.
Sing to him, sing zahmar ·musical praise· to him! Tell of all his marvelous works.
3 Monhoahoa mo ho wɔ ne din kronkron mu; momma wɔn a wɔhwehwɛ Awurade no nnya akoma mu anigyeɛ.
Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Adonai rejoice.
4 Momma mo ani nna Awurade ne nʼahoɔden so; na monhwehwɛ nʼanim ɛberɛ biara.
Seek Adonai and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
5 Monkae anwanwadeɛ a wayɛ ne nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ, ne atemmuo a ɔbuiɛ,
Remember his marvelous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
6 Ao Abraham mma, Onyankopɔn ɔsomfoɔ, Ao Yakob mma a wapa wɔn.
you offspring of Abraham [Father of a multitude], his servant, you children of Jacob [Supplanter], his chosen ones.
7 Ɔyɛ Awurade, yɛn Onyankopɔn. Nʼahennie da adi wɔ asase so nyinaa.
He is Adonai, our God. His judgments are in all the earth.
8 Ɔkae nʼapam daa nyinaa, asɛm a ɔhyɛ maa awoɔ ntoantoasoɔ apem no,
He has remembered his covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· forever, the word which he enjoined to a thousand generations,
9 apam a ɔne Abraham yɛeɛ no ntam a ɔka kyerɛɛ Isak no.
the covenant which he made with Abraham [Father of a multitude], his oath to Isaac [Laughter],
10 Ɔhyɛɛ mu den maa Yakob sɛ mmara, de maa Israel sɛ apam a ɛbɛtena hɔ afebɔɔ.
and confirmed the same to Jacob [Supplanter] for a statute; to Israel [God prevails] for an everlasting covenant,
11 Ɔkaa sɛ, “Mede Kanaan asase no bɛma wo sɛ kyɛfa a ɛbɛyɛ wʼagyapadeɛ.”
saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan [Humbled], the lot of your inheritance;”
12 Ɔkaa yei ɛberɛ a na wɔnnɔɔso, ahɔhokuo ketewa bi a wɔwɔ Kanaan.
when they were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.
13 Wɔfirii aman so kɔɔ aman so; firii ahemman mu kɔɔ ahemman mu.
They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
14 Wamma obi anhyɛ wɔn so; wɔn enti, ɔkaa ahene anim sɛ:
He allowed no one to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
15 “Mommfa mo nsa nka wɔn a masra wɔn ngo; na monnyɛ mʼadiyifoɔ bɔne bi.”
“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”
16 Ɔmaa ɛkɔm baa asase no so na ɔsɛee akwan a wɔfa so nya wɔn aduane nyinaa;
He called for a famine on the land. He destroyed the food supplies.
17 na ɔsomaa ɔbarima bi dii wɔn anim, Yosef a wɔtɔn no sɛ akoa no.
He sent a man before them. Joseph [May he add] was sold for a slave.
18 Wɔde mpokyerɛ guu ne nan, na wɔde dadeɛ nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn hyɛɛ ne kɔn,
They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,
19 kɔsii sɛ deɛ ɔhyɛɛ ho nkɔm no baa mu, kɔsii sɛ Awurade asɛm no daa no adi sɛ ɔyɛ nokwafoɔ.
until the time that his word happened, and Adonai’s word proved him true.
20 Afei, ɔhene no soma ma wɔkɔgyaa no; aman no sodifoɔ gyaa no.
The king sent and freed him; even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.
21 Ɔyɛɛ no ne fiefoɔ so wura, deɛ ɔwɔ nyinaa sodifoɔ,
He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions;
22 sɛ ɔnkyerɛ ne mmapɔmma deɛ ɔpɛ na ɔnkyerɛ ne mpanimfoɔ nyansa.
to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.
23 Afei, Israel kɔɔ Misraim; Yakob kɔtenaa Ham asase so sɛ ɔnanani.
Israel [God prevails] also came into Egypt [Abode of slavery]. Jacob [Supplanter] lived in the land of Ham [Hot, Intensity, Passion].
24 Awurade maa ne nkurɔfoɔ ase dɔreeɛ; ɔyɛɛ wɔn bebree dodo maa wɔn atamfoɔ,
He increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
25 wɔn a ɔdanee wɔn akoma sɛ wɔntane ne nkurɔfoɔ na wɔmpam nʼasomfoɔ tiri so.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.
26 Ɔsomaa ne ɔsomfoɔ Mose, ne Aaron a na wayi noɔ no.
He sent Moses [Drawn out], his servant, and Aaron [Light-bringer], whom he had chosen.
27 Wɔyɛɛ ne nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ nwanwasoɔ wɔ wɔn mu, nʼanwanwadeɛ wɔ Ham asase so.
They performed miracles among them, and wonders in the land of Ham [Hot, Intensity, Passion].
28 Ɔsomaa esum, na ɔmaa asase duruu sum ɛfiri sɛ na wɔate nʼasɛm no so atua.
He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn’t rebel against his words.
29 Ɔmaa wɔn nsuo nyinaa danee mogya, nam so kumm emu mpataa.
He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
30 Mpɔtorɔ bɛhyɛɛ asase no so ma, na wɔhyɛnee ɔman no sodifoɔ mpia mu.
Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the rooms of their kings.
31 Ɔkasaeɛ, na nwansena bebree ne ntontom baa ɔman no mu baabiara.
He spoke, and swarms of flies came, and lice in all their borders.
32 Ɔmaa wɔn osutɔ danee ampariboɔ a anyinam nenam mu wɔ ɔman no nyinaa mu;
He gave them hail for rain, with lightning in their land.
33 Ɔsɛee wɔn bobe ne borɔdɔma nnua na ɔbubuu ɔman no so nnua pasaa.
He struck their vines and also their fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.
34 Ɔkasaeɛ, na ntutummɛ baeɛ mmɛbɛ a wɔntumi nkan wɔn;
He spoke, and the locusts came, and the grasshoppers, without number,
35 wɔwee nhahammono biara a ɛwɔ wɔn asase no so, na wɔdii wɔn mfuo so nnuane.
ate up every plant in their land; and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 Afei ɔkunkumm wɔn asase so mmakan nyinaa, wɔn mmarimayɛ mu aba a ɛdi ɛkan nyinaa.
He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.
37 Ɔyii Israelfoɔ, a wɔso dwetɛ ne sikakɔkɔɔ, firii wɔn mmusuakuo mu a obiara ho antɔ kyima.
He brought them out with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person among his tribes.
38 Misraim ani gyeeɛ ɛberɛ a wɔkɔeɛ, ɛfiri sɛ na Israelfoɔ ho hu atɔ wɔn so.
Egypt [Abode of slavery] was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen on them.
39 Ɔtrɛɛ omununkum mu kataa wɔn so, na ɔde ogya maa wɔn, sɛ ɛnyɛ hann anadwo.
He spread a cloud for a covering, fire to give light in the night.
40 Wɔbisaeɛ, na ɔbrɛɛ wɔn mmoko. Ɔmaa ɔsoro aduane mee wɔn.
They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of the sky.
41 Ɔbuee ɔbotan mu maa nsuo firii mu baeɛ; na ɛtenee wɔ ɛserɛ no so sɛ asubɔnten.
He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. They ran as a river in the dry places.
42 Ɔkaee ne bɔhyɛ kronkron bi a ɔhyɛɛ ne ɔsomfoɔ Abraham no.
For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham [Father of a multitude], his servant.
43 Ɔyii ne nkurɔfoɔ maa wɔn ani gyeeɛ. Wɔn a wapa wɔn no dii ahurisie;
He brought his people out with joy, his chosen with singing.
44 ɔde amanaman no nsase maa wɔn, na deɛ ebinom abrɛ anya no bɛyɛɛ wɔn agyapadeɛ
He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labor of the peoples in possession,
45 na wɔahwɛ nʼahyɛdeɛ adi ne mmara so. Monyi Awurade ayɛ.
that they might keep his statutes, and observe his torot ·teachings·. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
