1 Dawid Dwom. Mɛto wo dɔ ne wo tenenee ho dwom; Ao Awurade, mɛto ayɛyie dwom ama wo.

A PSALM OF DAVID. I sing kindness and judgment, To You, O YHWH, I sing praise.

2 Mɛhwɛ yie abu ɔbra a ɛho teɛ. Dabɛn na wobɛba me nkyɛn? Mede akoma a afɔdie nni mu bɛnante me fie.

I act wisely in a perfect way, When do You come to me? I habitually walk in the integrity of my heart, In the midst of my house.

3 Meremfa mʼani nsi adeɛ a ɛyɛ tane biara so. Mekyiri nnipa a wɔnni gyidie; Me ne wɔn nni hwee yɛ.

I do not set a worthless thing before my eyes, I have hated the work of those turning aside, It does not adhere to me.

4 Nnipa a wɔn akoma yɛ kontonkyi remmɛn me; me ne bɔne nni hwee yɛ.

A perverse heart turns aside from me, I do not know wickedness.

5 Obiara a ɔdi ne yɔnko ho nsekuro wɔ kɔkoam no, ɔno na mɛsɛe; deɛ ɔwɔ ahantan ani ne ahomasoɔ akoma, ɔno na merennyegye ne so.

Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret, Him I cut off, The high of eyes and proud of heart, Him I do not endure.

6 Mʼani bɛkɔ anokwafoɔ a wɔwɔ asase no soɔ no so na me ne wɔn atena; deɛ ne nanteɛ ho nni asɛm no, ɔno na ɔbɛsom me.

My eyes are on the faithful of the land, To dwell with me, Whoever is walking in a perfect way, he serves me.

7 Deɛ ɔyɛ ɔdaadaafoɔ biara rentena me fie; deɛ ɔtwa nkontompo no rennyina mʼanim.

He who is working deceit does not dwell in my house, Whoever is speaking lies is not established before my eyes.

8 Adekyeeɛ biara, mɛsɛe amumuyɛfoɔ a wɔwɔ asase yi so nyinaa; na mapam ɔdebɔneyɛfoɔ biara afiri Awurade kuropɔn mu.
