1 Ɔba nyansafoɔ tie nʼagya nkyerɛkyerɛ; na ɔfɛdifoɔ ntie animka.
A son wise [the] discipline of a father and a mocker not he listens to a rebuke.
2 Nneɛma pa a ɛfiri onipa anom no ma no anigyeɛ, na wɔn a wɔnni nokorɛ no kɔn dɔ basabasayɛ.
From [the] fruit of [the] mouth of a person he eats good thing[s] and [the] appetite of treacherous [people] [is] violence.
3 Deɛ ɔkora nʼano no kora ne nkwa so, nanso deɛ ɔkasa a ɔnsusu ho no bɛba ɔsɛeɛ mu.
[one who] guards Mouth his [is] protecting life his [one who] opens lips his ruin [belongs] to him.
4 Onihafoɔ pere hwehwɛ nanso ɔnnya hwee, na deɛ ɔyɛ adwuma no nya deɛ ɔpɛ biara.
[is] coveting And nothing appetite his a sluggard and [the] appetite of diligent [people] it will be made fat.
5 Teneneefoɔ kyiri deɛ ɛnyɛ nokorɛ, nanso amumuyɛfoɔ de aniwuo ne ahohora ba.
A word of falsehood he hates a righteous [person] and a wicked [person] he acts odiously and he may act shamefully.
6 Tenenee bɔ ɔnokwafoɔ ho ban, na amumuyɛsɛm tu ɔbɔnefoɔ gu.
Righteousness it preserves integrity of way and wickedness it subverts sin.
7 Obi yɛ ne ho sɛ ɔdefoɔ, a nso ɔnni hwee, ɔfoforɔ yɛ ne ho sɛ ohiani, a nso ɔwɔ ahonya bebree.
There [is one who] enriches himself and there not [is] anything [one who] impoverishes himself and wealth great.
8 Obi ahonya bɛtumi agye no nkwa, nanso ohiani nte ahunahuna biara.
[the] ransom of [the] life of A person [is] wealth his and a poor [person] not he hears a threat.
9 Teneneefoɔ kanea hyerɛn pa ara, nanso wɔdum amumuyɛfoɔ kanea.
[the] light of Righteous [people] it rejoices and [the] lamp of wicked [people] it is extinguished.
10 Ahantan de ntɔkwa nko ara na ɛba, na wɔhunu nyansa wɔ wɔn a wɔtie afutuo mu.
Only with pride it gives contention and [is] with [those who] receive advice wisdom.
11 Ahonya a ɛnam kwammɔne soɔ no hwere ntɛm so, na deɛ ɔboa sika ano nkakrankakra no ma ɛdɔɔso.
Wealth from vanity it will become small and [one who] gathers on hand he will increase.
12 Anidasoɔ a wɔtu hyɛ da no bɔ akoma yadeɛ, nanso anigyinadeɛ a nsa aka no yɛ nkwa dua.
Hope deferred [is] making sick [the] heart and [is] a tree of life a desire [which] comes.
13 Deɛ ɔtwiri ahyɛdeɛ no bɛtua so ka, nanso deɛ ɔde obuo ma mmara no, wɔma no akatua.
[one who] despises A word he will be pledged to it and [one] fearing a commandment he he will be rewarded.
14 Onyansafoɔ nkyerɛkyerɛ te sɛ nkwa asutire, ɛyi onipa firi owuo afidie mu.
[the] instruction of A wise [person] [is] a fountain of life to turn aside from [the] snares of death.
15 Nhunumu pa de adom ba, nanso atorofoɔ ɛkwan so yɛ den.
Insight good it gives favor and [the] way of treacherous [people] [is] enduring.
16 Ɔbadwemma biara yɛ nʼadeɛ wɔ nimdeɛ mu, nanso ɔkwasea da nʼagyimisɛm adi.
Every sensible [person] he acts with knowledge and a fool he spreads out foolishness.
17 Ɔsomafoɔ mumuyɛfoɔ tɔ amaneɛ mu, nanso ɔnanmusini nokwafoɔ de abodwoɔ ba.
A messenger wicked he falls in trouble and an envoy of faithfulness [is] healing.
18 Deɛ ɔpo ntenesoɔ no kɔ ohia ne animguaseɛ mu, na deɛ ɔtie ntenesoɔ no, wɔhyɛ no animuonyam.
Poverty and shame [one who] ignores discipline and [one who] keeps correction he is honored.
19 Akɔnnɔdeɛ a nsa aka ma ɔkra ani gye, nanso nkwaseafoɔ kyiri sɛ wɔtwe wɔn ho firi bɔne ho.
A desire done (is pleasing *LAH(b)*) to a person and [is] an abomination of fools to turn aside from evil.
20 Deɛ ɔne onyansafoɔ nante no hunu nyansa, na deɛ ɔne nkwaseafoɔ bɔ no hunu amane.
([one who] walks *Q(K)*) With wise [people] (he will become wise *Q(K)*) and [one who] associates with fools he will be harmed.
21 Ɔhaw di ɔbɔnefoɔ akyi, na nkɔsoɔ yɛ teneneeni akatua.
Sinners it pursues calamity and righteous [people] it rewards good.
22 Onipa pa de agyapadeɛ gya ne nananom, na wɔkora ɔbɔnefoɔ ahonyadeɛ so ma ɔteneneeni.
A good [person] he leaves an inheritance to children of children and [is] stored up for the righteous [the] wealth of a sinner.
23 Ohiani afuom nnɔbaeɛ tumi ba pii, nanso ntɛnkyea pra kɔ.
Abundance of food [the] unplowed ground of poor [people] and there [is what] is swept away in not justice.
24 Deɛ ɔkyɛe nʼabaa so no tane ne ba, na deɛ ɔdɔ no no hwɛ sɛ ɔbɛtene no.
[one who] restrains Rod his [is] hating son his and [one who] loves him he seeks early him discipline.
25 Teneneefoɔ didi ma wɔn akoma mee nanso, ɛkɔm de amumuyɛfoɔ.
A righteous [person] [is] eating to [the] satiety of appetite his and [the] belly of wicked [people] it is lacking.
