< Nehemia 7 >

1 Wɔwiee ɔfasuo no, na mesisii apono no wieeɛ no akyi, wɔyiyii apono no anohwɛfoɔ, nnwomtofoɔ ne Lewifoɔ.
Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
2 Meyii me nuabarima Hanani sɛ ɔne Hanania nni Yerusalem so. Na Hanania yɛ ɔsahene a ɔhwɛ aban no so, na ɔyɛ ɔnokwafoɔ a ɔsuro Onyame sene afoforɔ bebree.
that I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the governor of the castle, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.
3 Meka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Adekyeeɛ mu, sɛ ahuhuro ba a, mommma apono no ano nna hɔ. Na sɛ aponoanohwɛfoɔ wɔ adwuma mu koraa a, montoto mu, na mommram no. Monyi wɔn a wɔtete Yerusalem no bi, na wɔnnwɛn a obiara ba ne ɛberɛ a wɔahyɛ ama no no pɛpɛɛpɛ. Ebi bɛwɛn wɔ awɛneeɛ hɔ, na ebi nso awɛn wɔ wɔn ankasa afie anim.”
And I said unto them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be hot; and while they stand [on guard], let them shut the doors, and bar ye them: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one [to be] over against his house.

Now the city was wide and large: but the people were few therein, and the houses were not builded.

And my God put into my heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found the book of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and I found written therein:
6 Yeinom ne Yudafoɔ a wɔtwaa wɔn asuo kɔɔ amantam bi so, na wɔfirii nnommumfa mu sane baa Yerusalem ne Yuda nkuro afoforɔ so. Ɔhene Nebukadnessar na ɔtwaa wɔn asuo kɔɔ Babilonia.
These are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and that returned unto Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;
7 Wɔn ntuanofoɔ yɛ Serubabel, Yesua, Nehemia, Asaria, Raamia, Nahamani, Mordekai, Bilsan, Misperet, Bigwai, Nehum ne Baana. Israelfoɔ dodoɔ a wɔfiri asutwa mu baeɛ no nie:
who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:

The children of Solomon’s servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida;
58 Yaala, Darkon, Gidel asefoɔ,
the children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel;
59 Sefatia, Hatil, Pokeret-Hasebaim ne Ami asefoɔ,
the children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth-hazzebaim, the children of Amon.
60 Asɔredan mu asomfoɔ ne Salomo asomfoɔ asefoɔ no nyinaa na wɔn dodoɔ yɛ 392
All the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred ninety and two.
61 Ekuo foforɔ bi a saa ɛberɛ yi wɔfiri Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsa, Kerub, Adon ne Imer sane baa Yerusalem, nanso, wɔantumi ankyerɛ mu yie sɛ, wɔn anaa wɔn abusuafoɔ no ase firi Israel:
And these were they which went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shew their fathers’ houses, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel:
62 Delaia, Tobia ne Nekoda asefoɔ no ka saa kuo yi ho, na wɔn dodoɔ yɛ 642
The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred forty and two.
63 Asɔfoɔ baasa a wɔn din de Habaia, Hakos ne Barsilai asefoɔ nso baa Yerusalem. (Na saa Barsilai yi aware Barsilai a ɔfiri Gilead mmammaa no baako ama wafa ɔbaa no abusua din.)
And of the priests: the children of Hobaiah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
64 Nanso, na wɔayera wɔn abusuadua nwoma no enti wɔamma wɔn ho ɛkwan amma wɔansom sɛ asɔfoɔ.
These sought their register [among] those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
65 Na amrado no mma ɛkwan mma wɔnnni afɔrebɔ nnuane mu kyɛfa mpo, gye sɛ ɔsɔfoɔ bi de ntonto kronkron bɔ a wɔfrɛ no Urim ne Tumim akyerɛ wɔn gyinabea wɔ saa asɛm yi ho.
And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
66 Enti nnipa a wɔsane baa Yuda no nyinaa dodoɔ yɛ,
The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,
67 a ɛno akyi, asomfoɔ a wɔyɛ mmaa ne mmarima a ɛmu yɛ nnwomtofoɔ.
beside their menservants and their maidservants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven, and they had two hundred forty and five singing men and singing women.
68 Wɔde apɔnkɔ ahanson ne aduasa nsia mfunumpɔnkɔ ahanu ne aduanan enum.
Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
69 Nyoma ahanan ne aduasa enum ne mfunumu mpem nsia ahanson ne aduonu.
[their] camels, four hundred thirty and five; [their] asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
70 Abusua no bi ntuanofoɔ maa dwumadie no ho akyɛdeɛ. Amrado no too sikakorabea no mu sikakɔkɔɔ pranpran apem, sikakɔkɔɔ atam aduonum ne asɔfotadeɛ ahanum ne aduasa.
And some from among the heads of fathers’ [houses] gave unto the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasury a thousand darics of gold, fifty basons, five hundred and thirty priests’ garments.
71 Ntuanofoɔ no bi ka bɔɔ mu, too sikakorabea no mu sikakɔkɔɔ pranpran ɔpeduonu, na ebinom nso maa dwetɛ nsania kilogram mpem mmienu ahanu ne aduonu de boaa adwuma no.
And some of the heads of fathers’ [houses] gave into the treasury of the work twenty thousand darics of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pounds of silver.
72 Nnipa a wɔaka no nso maa sikakɔkɔɔ pranpran ɔpeduonu ne dwetɛ bɛyɛ kilogram mpem ne ahanu ne asɔfotadeɛ aduosia nson.
And that which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand darics of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and threescore and seven priests’ garments.
73 Enti, asɔfoɔ, Lewifoɔ, aponoanohwɛfoɔ, nnwomtofoɔ, Asɔredan mu asomfoɔ ne nnipa no bi, ne Israelfoɔ a wɔaka nyinaa bɔɔ atenaseɛ wɔ wɔn ankasa nkuro so. Ɔbosome Tisri (bɛyɛ Ɛbɔ ne Ahinime ntam) mfimfini mu a Israelfoɔ akokɔ wɔn nkuro so no,
So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinim, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities. And when the seventh month was come, the children of Israel were in their cities.
