< Mateo 25 >

1 “Ɔsoro Ahennie te sɛ mmabaawa edu bi a wɔfaa wɔn nkanea sɛ wɔrekɔhyia ayeforɔkunu.
Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, the friends of the bride, who took their lights, and went out with the purpose of meeting the husband.
2 Na mmabaawa no mu baanum yɛ anyansafoɔ ɛnna baanum nso yɛ nkwaseafoɔ.
And five of them were foolish, and five were wise.
3 Wɔn mu nkwaseafoɔ no rekɔ no, wɔfaa wɔn nkanea nanso wɔamfa ngo anka ho.
For the foolish, when they took their lights, took no oil with them.
4 Nanso, wɔn mu anyansafoɔ no deɛ, wɔrekorɔ no, wɔfaa ngo kaa wɔn nkanea ho de kɔeɛ.
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lights.
5 Ayeforɔkunu no amma ntɛm, enti wɔhyɛɛ aseɛ totɔɔ nko dedaeɛ.
Now the husband was a long time in coming, and they all went to sleep.
6 “Ɔdasuom na wɔtee nteateamu sɛ, ‘Ayeforɔkunu no reba! Momfiri adi nkɔhyia no!’
But in the middle of the night there is a cry, The husband comes! Go out to him.
7 “Mmabaawa yi nyinaa sɔre buebuee wɔn nkanea no.
Then all those virgins got up, and made ready their lights.
8 Nkwaseafoɔ no srɛɛ anyansafoɔ no sɛ, ‘Momma yɛn mo ngo no bi ngu yɛn nkanea no mu na ɛredum.’
And the foolish said to the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lights are going out.
9 “Anyansafoɔ no ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, ‘Krasin a yɛwɔ no sua. Monkɔ kurom nkɔtɔ bi.’
But the wise made answer, saying, There may not be enough for us and you; it would be better for you to go to the traders and get oil for yourselves.
10 “Wɔrekɔtɔ ngo no pɛ, na ayeforɔkunu no baeɛ. Enti, wɔn a wɔasiesie wɔn ho no ne ayeforɔkunu no kɔɔ nʼapontoɔ no ase, na wɔtoo ɛpono no mu.
And while they went to get oil, the master came; and those who were ready went in with him to the feast: and the door was shut.
11 “Akyire yi a baanum no sane baeɛ no, wɔgyinaa ɛpono no akyi frɛɛ sɛ, ‘Owura, hini yɛn!’
After that the other virgins came, saying, Lord, Lord, let us in.
12 “Nanso, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, ‘Momfiri hɔ nkɔ. Mennim mo!’
But he made answer and said, Truly I say to you, I have no knowledge of you.
13 “Enti, monwɛn na monnim da anaa dɔn ko a mɛsane aba.
Keep watch, then, because you are not certain of the day or of the hour.
14 “Bio, Ɔsoro Ahennie te sɛ ɔbarima bi a ɔretu ɛkwan akɔ ɔman foforɔ bi so. Ɔrekɔ no, ɔfrɛɛ nʼapaafoɔ baasa, maa wɔn mu biara sika a ɛfata sɛ wɔmfa nyɛ adwuma.
For it is as when a man, about to take a journey, got his servants together, and gave them his property.
15 Ɔmaa ɔbaako dwetɛ kilogram ɔha aduɔson. Ɔmaa deɛ ɔdi hɔ no dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe ɛnna ɔmaa deɛ ɔtwa toɔ no dwetɛ kilogram aduasa ɛnan.
And to one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one; to everyone as he was able; and he went on his journey.
16 Ɔpaani a ɔmaa no dwetɛ kilogram ɔha aduɔson no de sika no kɔdii dwa, nyaa mfasoɔ dwetɛ kilogram ɔha aduɔson kaa ho.
Straight away he who had been given the five talents went and did trade with them, and made five more.
17 Deɛ ɔnyaa dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe no nso de sika no kɔyɛɛ adwuma nyaa mfasoɔ dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe kaa ne sika no ho.
In the same way he who had been given the two got two more.
18 Nanso, ɔpaani a ne wura maa no dwetɛ kilogram aduasa ɛnan no deɛ, ɔkɔtuu fam de sika no siee hɔ.
But he who was given the one went away and put it in a hole in the earth, and kept his lord's money in a secret place.
19 “Mmerɛ bi akyi, wɔn wura no firi akwantuo mu baeɛ. Ɔfrɛɛ apaafoɔ baasa yi sɛ wɔmmɛbu nkonta nkyerɛ no.
Now after a long time the lord of those servants comes, and makes up his account with them.
And he who had the five talents came with his other five talents, saying, Lord, you gave into my care five talents: see, I have got five more.
21 “Ne wura no ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, ‘Mo, akoa pa ne nokwafoɔ, woadi kakra yi ho nokorɛ, mede wo bɛsi nneɛma pii so panin. Bra, na me ne wo nni dɛ!’
His lord said to him, Well done, good and true servant: you have been true in a small thing, I will give you control over great things: take your part in the joy of your lord.
22 “Ɔpaani a ɔmaa no dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe no nso baeɛ. Ɔka kyerɛɛ ne wura no sɛ, ‘Worekɔ no, womaa me dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe. Mede yɛɛ adwuma, na manya dwetɛ kilogram aduosia nnwɔtwe aka ho.’
And he who had the two talents came and said, Lord, you gave into my care two talents: see, I have got two more.
23 “Ne wura no ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, ‘Mo, akoa pa ne nokwafoɔ, woadi kakra yi ho nokorɛ, mede wo bɛsi nneɛma pii so panin. Bra wo wura anigyeɛ mu!’
His lord said to him, Well done, good and true servant: you have been true in a small thing, I will give you control over great things: take your part in the joy of your lord.
24 “Ɔpaani a ɔnyaa dwetɛ kilogram aduasa ɛnan no nso baeɛ. Ɔka kyerɛɛ ne wura no sɛ, ‘Owura, menim sɛ woyɛ onipa a wʼasɛm yɛ den. Wotumi twa wɔ deɛ wonnuaeɛ, ɛnna wotumi boaboa ano wɔ deɛ wompeteeɛ;
And he who had had the one talent came and said, Lord, I had knowledge that you are a hard man, getting in grain where you have not put seed, and making profits for which you have done no work:
25 enti mesuroeɛ, na mede wo sika no kɔhyɛɛ fam, enti wʼadeɛ nie!’
And I was in fear, and went away, and put your talent in the earth: here is what is yours.
26 “Ne wura no ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, ‘Akoa bɔne ne onihafoɔ! Wonim sɛ metumi twa wɔ deɛ mennuaeɛ, na metumi boaboa ano wɔ deɛ mempeteeɛ a,
But his lord in answer said to him, You are a bad and unready servant; if you had knowledge that I get in grain where I did not put seed, and make profits for which I have done no work,
27 anka ɛsɛ sɛ wode sika no kɔto sikakorabea nya nsiho to hɔ ma me.
Why, then, did you not put my money in the bank, and at my coming I would have got back what is mine with interest?
28 “‘Monnye ne nsam sika no, na momfa nkɔma deɛ ɔnyaa dwetɛ kilogram ahasa aduanan no.
Take away, then, his talent and give it to him who has the ten talents.
29 Obiara a ɔde deɛ wɔde ama no no bɛyɛ ade pa no, wɔde bi bɛka no ho. Na obiara a wamfa deɛ wɔde ama no no anyɛ ade pa no, deɛ ɔwɔ no mpo, wɔbɛgye afiri ne nsam.
For to everyone who has will be given, and he will have more: but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
30 Monto akoa a ne ho nni mfasoɔ yi ntwene esum kabii mu: ɛhɔ na esu ne agyaadwoɔ wɔ.’
And put out the servant who is of no profit into the outer dark: there will be weeping and cries of sorrow.
31 “Na sɛ Onipa Ba no ba nʼanimuonyam mu a abɔfoɔ nyinaa ka ne ho a, saa ɛberɛ no na ɔbɛtena nʼanimuonyam ahennwa no so.
But when the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then will he be seated in his glory:
32 Na wɔbɛboaboa aman nyinaa ano nʼanim. Na ɔbɛpa nnipa no mu sɛdeɛ odwanhwɛfoɔ pa nnwan firi mpɔnkye mu;
And before him all the nations will come together; and they will be parted one from another, as the sheep are parted from the goats by the keeper.
33 na ɔde nnwan no bɛgyina ne nifa so, na ɔde mpɔnkye no agyina ne benkum so.
And he will put the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.
34 “Ɛno na Ɔhene no bɛka akyerɛ wɔn a wɔgyina ne nifa so no sɛ, ‘Mo a mʼagya ahyira mo, mommra mmɛfa ahennie a wɔasiesie ama mo firi ewiase ahyɛaseɛ no nni!
Then will the King say to those on his right, Come, you who have the blessing of my Father, into the kingdom made ready for you before the world was:
35 Ɛkɔm dee me, na momaa me aduane diiɛ. Sukɔm dee me, na momaa me nsuo nomeeɛ. Meyɛɛ ɔhɔhoɔ, na mode me kɔɔ mo fie.
For I was in need of food, and you gave it to me: I was in need of drink, and you gave it to me: I was wandering, and you took me in;
36 Medaa adagya na mofiraa me ntoma. Meyareeɛ, na mobɛsraa me. Medaa afiase, na mobɛhwɛɛ me.’
I had no clothing, and you gave it to me: when I was ill, or in prison, you came to me.
37 “Saa ɛberɛ no mu na ateneneefoɔ bɛbisa sɛ, ‘Owura, da bɛn na yɛhunuu wo sɛ ɛkɔm de wo a, yɛmaa wo aduane, na sukɔm de wo a yɛmaa wo nsuo nomeeɛ?
Then will the upright make answer to him, saying, Lord, when did we see you in need of food, and give it to you? or in need of drink, and give it to you?
38 Afei, da bɛn na yɛhunuu sɛ woyɛɛ ɔhɔhoɔ a, yɛde wo kɔɔ yɛn fie, anaasɛ wodaa adagya a, yɛfiraa wo ntoma?
And when did we see you wandering, and take you in? or without clothing, and give it to you?
39 Afei, da bɛn na yɛhunuu sɛ woyare a, yɛbɛsraa wo, anaasɛ wodaa afiase a, yɛbɛhwɛɛ wo?’
And when did we see you ill, or in prison, and come to you?
40 “Na Ɔhene no, bɛbua wɔn sɛ, ‘Sɛ moayɛ ama me nuanom nkumaa yi mu baako yi, moayɛ ama me!’
And the King will make answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Because you did it to the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.
41 “Afei, mɛdane mʼani akyerɛ wɔn a wɔgyina me benkum so no aka akyerɛ wɔn sɛ, ‘Mo a wɔadome mo, wɔmfa mo nkɔgu ogyatannaa a ɛnnum da a wɔasɔ ama ɔbonsam ne nʼahokafoɔ no mu. (aiōnios g166)
Then will he say to those on the left, Go from me, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire which is ready for the Evil One and his angels: (aiōnios g166)
42 Na ɛkɔm dee me, moamma me aduane anni, sukɔm dee me, moamma me nsuo annom.
For I was in need of food, and you gave it not to me; I was in need of drink, and you gave it not to me:
43 Meyɛɛ ɔhɔhoɔ, moamfa me ankɔ mo fie. Medaa adagya, moamfira me ntoma. Meyareeɛ, moammɛsra me. Medaa afiase, moammɛhwɛ me.’
I was wandering, and you took me not in; without clothing, and you gave me no clothing; ill, and in prison, and you came not to me.
44 “Wɔn nso bɛbua no sɛ, ‘Awurade, da bɛn na yɛhunuu wo sɛ ɛkɔm dee wo, anaasɛ sukɔm dee wo, anaasɛ woyɛɛ ɔhɔhoɔ, anaasɛ wodaa adagya, anaasɛ woyareeɛ, anaasɛ wodaa afiase, na yɛanyɛ deɛ ɛsɛ sɛ yɛyɛ amma wo?’
Then will they make answer, saying, Lord, when did we see you in need of food or drink, or wandering, or without clothing, or ill, or in prison, and did not take care of you?
45 “Na mɛbua wɔn sɛ, ‘Sɛ moanyɛ amma nkumaa yi mu baako enti, moanyɛ amma me.’
Then will he make answer to them, saying, Truly I say to you, Because you did it not to the least of these, you did it not to me.
46 “Na wɔbɛkɔ ahoyera a ɛtoɔ ntwa da mu, na ateneneefoɔ akɔ nkwa a ɛnni awieeɛ mu.” (aiōnios g166)
And these will go away into eternal punishment; but the upright into eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
