< Mateo 24 >
1 Yesu refiri baabi a asɔredan no si hɔ no, nʼasuafoɔ no baa ne nkyɛn pɛɛ sɛ wɔkyerɛkyerɛ no adan ahodoɔ a ɛwɔ asɔredan no mu.
As Jesus left the temple and was walking away, His disciples came up to Him to point out its buildings.
2 Nanso, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Wɔbɛdwiri saa dan yi agu pasaa!”
“Do you see all these things?” He replied. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
3 Yesu kɔɔ Ngo Bepɔ no so. Ɔte hɔ no, nʼasuafoɔ no baa ne nkyɛn bɛbisaa no sɛ, “Ɛberɛ bɛn na deɛ woreka yi bɛba? Na nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ bɛn na ɛbɛma yɛahunu wo ba a wobɛsane aba bio no ne ewiase awieeɛ a ɛbɛba no?” (aiōn )
While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?” (aiōn )
4 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Monhwɛ na obi annaadaa mo.
Jesus answered, “See to it that no one deceives you.
5 Nnipa bebree de me din bɛba abɛka sɛ, wɔne Agyenkwa no, na wɔadaadaa mo mu pii.
For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
6 Sɛ mote sɛ akokoakoko resi afanan nyinaa a, ɛnkyerɛ me ba a mɛsane aba no ho nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ. Ɛsɛ sɛ yeinom ba, nanso awieeɛ no deɛ, ɛnnya mmaeɛ.
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.
7 Aman bɛsɔre aman so, na ahennie asɔre ahennie so, na ɛkɔm ne asasewosoɔ bɛba mmeammea.
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
8 Yeinom nyinaa bɛyɛ nneɛma a ɛyɛ hu a ɛbɛba no mfitiaseɛ.
All these are the beginning of birth pains.
9 “Sɛ moyɛ me deɛ enti, wɔbɛyɛ mo ayayadeɛ, na wɔakum mo wɔ ewiase afanan nyinaa,
Then they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.
10 na mo mu pii bɛsane akɔ bɔne mu, na moayiyi mo ho mo ho ama, na moatan mo ho.
At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another,
11 Atorɔ adiyifoɔ bebree bɛsɔre, na wɔadaadaa mo mu pii.
and many false prophets will arise and mislead many.
12 Bɔne bɛdɔɔso wɔ ewiase, na abrɛ nnipa dɔ a wɔwɔ no ase.
Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.
13 Nanso, wɔn a wɔbɛgyina pintinn akɔduru awieeɛ no, wɔbɛgye wɔn nkwa.
But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
14 Na wɔbɛka asɛmpa a ɛfa Ahennie no ho no wɔ ewiase afanan nyinaa, na wɔate. Ɛno akyi ansa na awieeɛ no bɛba.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
15 “Enti, sɛ mohunu ‘Adeɛ a Ɛyɛ Hu’ a, Odiyifoɔ Daniel kaa ho asɛm sɛ ɛgyina kronkronbea hɔ no a, ma deɛ ɔkenkan no nte aseɛ,
So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination of desolation,’ described by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand),
16 wɔn a wɔte Yudea no nnwane nkɔ Yuda mmepɔ so.
then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
17 Mma obiara a ɔwɔ ne efie ɛdan atifi no nsiane nkɔfa biribiara mfiri ne efie hɔ.
Let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve anything from his house.
18 Wɔn a wɔwɔ mfuom no nso nnsane wɔn akyi mmɛfa wɔn ntoma.
And let no one in the field return for his cloak.
19 Na wɔn a wɔafa afuro ne wɔn a wɔturu mma saa ɛberɛ no mu no nnue!
How miserable those days will be for pregnant and nursing mothers!
20 Na mommɔ mpaeɛ na ɛberɛ a ɛsɛ sɛ modwane no anyɛ awɔberɛ anaa Homeda.
Pray that your flight will not occur in the winter or on the Sabbath.
21 Ɛfiri sɛ, ɔtaa a ɛbɛba no, ebi nsii wɔ ewiase abakɔsɛm mu da, na ebi nso rensi da.
For at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again.
22 “Nokorɛm, sɛ wɔantwa saa nna no so a, nnipa nyinaa ase bɛtɔre.
If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.
23 Sɛ obi ka kyerɛ mo sɛ, ‘Agyenkwa no wɔ ha anaasɛ ɔwɔ nohoa anaa wayi ne ho adi wɔ ha anaa ɛhɔ’ a, monnye nni.
At that time, if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe it.
24 Atorɔ Akristofoɔ ne atorɔ adiyifoɔ bɛsɔre, na wɔayɛ anwanwadeɛ ahodoɔ na sɛ ɛbɛtumi a, wɔadaadaa wɔn mpo a Onyankopɔn ayi wɔn no.
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders that would deceive even the elect, if that were possible.
See, I have told you in advance.
26 “Enti, sɛ obi ka kyerɛ mo sɛ, ‘Agyenkwa no asane aba na ɔwɔ ɛserɛ so a,’ monnha mo ho sɛ mobɛkɔ hɔ akɔhwehwɛ no; ‘anaasɛ nso ɔde ne ho asie baabi a,’ monnye nni!
So if they tell you, ‘There He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.
27 Na sɛdeɛ anyinam pa firi apueeɛ kɔ atɔeɛ no, saa ara na sɛ Onipa Ba no reba a, ɛbɛyɛ ara ne no.
For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
28 Na deɛ efunu wɔ no, ɛhɔ na apete mpa.
Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
29 “Ɔtaa no akyiri pɛ “‘awia bɛduru sum, na ɔsrane renhyerɛn; na nsoromma bɛtete ahwe, na wɔbɛwoso tumi a ɛwɔ ɔsoro no.’
Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’
At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.
31 Na mɛsoma mʼabɔfoɔ a wɔrebɔ totorobɛnto aba, na wɔbɛboaboa wɔn a mayi wɔn no ano firi ɛsoro ano kɔka asase ano.
And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
32 “Afei, monsua biribi mfiri borɔdɔma dua no ho asɛm no mu. Sɛ ɛyi mman foforɔ, sane yi ahahan foforɔ a, na ɛkyerɛ sɛ asusɔ abɛn.
Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branches become tender and sprout leaves, you know that summer is near.
33 Saa ara nso na sɛ mohunu sɛ saa nneɛma yi nyinaa afiti aseɛ resisi a, mobɛhunu sɛ meba a mɛsane aba no abɛn, aduru apono ano.
So also, when you see all these things, you will know that He is near, right at the door.
34 Nokorɛ mese mo sɛ, awontoatoasoɔ yi rentwam, gye sɛ saa nneɛma yi nyinaa aba mu ansa.
Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.
35 Ɛsoro ne asase bɛtwam akɔ, na me nsɛm deɛ, ɛbɛtena hɔ daa.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
36 “Nanso, ɛda anaa dɔn ko a awieeɛ no bɛba deɛ, obiara nnim. Ɔsoro abɔfoɔ ne Onyankopɔn Ba no mpo nnim. Agya no nko na ɔnim.
No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
37 Onipa Ba no ba a ɔbɛba no bɛyɛ sɛdeɛ Noa berɛ so ɛyɛeɛ no ara pɛ.
As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.
38 Na sɛdeɛ nna a ɛdi nsuyire no anim no, nnipa didiiɛ, na wɔnomeeɛ, warewareeɛ, de kɔsii ɛda a Noa kɔɔ ɛhyɛn no mu,
For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark.
39 na nnipa annye deɛ ɛbɛba anni, kɔsii sɛ nsuyire bɛfaa wɔn nyinaa kɔeɛ no, saa ara na Onipa Ba no ba a ɔbɛsane aba no bɛyɛ.
And they were oblivious, until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Saa ɛberɛ no, wɔbɛfa mmarima baanu a wɔreyɛ adwuma wɔ afuom no mu baako akɔ, na wɔagya ɔbaako.
Two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.
41 Saa ara nso na mmaa baanu a wɔwɔ efie renoa aduane no nso, wɔbɛfa ɔbaako agya ɔbaako no no.
Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
42 “Enti, monwɛn ɛfiri sɛ, monnim da ko a Awurade bɛba.
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day on which your Lord will come.
43 Sɛdeɛ onipa tumi wɛn de bɔ ne ho ban firi akorɔmfoɔ ho no,
But understand this: If the homeowner had known in which watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44 saa ara na ɛwɔ sɛ mosiesie mo ho, ɛfiri sɛ Onipa Ba no bɛba ɛberɛ a mo ani nna so sɛ ɔbɛba.
For this reason, you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect.
Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household, to give the others their food at the proper time?
46 Nhyira ne ɔsomfoɔ a ne wura no bɛba abɛto no sɛ wayɛ nʼadwuma pɛpɛɛpɛ.
Blessed is that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.
47 Nokorɛm, ɔde nʼagyapadeɛ nyinaa bɛhyɛ ne nsa.
Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
48 Na sɛ ɔyɛ akoa bɔne, na ɔka kyerɛ ne ho sɛ, ‘Me Wura nnya mmaeɛ,’
But suppose that servant is wicked and says in his heart, ‘My master will be away a long time.’
49 na ɔhyɛ aseɛ ha ne mfɛfoɔ nkoa, na ɔdidi, boro nsã a,
And he begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.
50 ne Wura no bɛba ɛda a nʼani nna so sɛ ɔbɛba.
The master of that servant will come on a day he does not expect and at an hour he does not anticipate.
51 Ɔbɛtwe nʼaso denden, na ɔde no akɔ baabi a wɔbu nyaatwomfoɔ atɛn; ɛhɔ na wɔtwa agyaadwoɔ na wɔtwɛre wɔn se.
Then he will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
