< Mateo 19 >

1 Yesu wiee nʼasɛnka no, ɔkɔɔ Galilea. Ɔfiri Galilea no, ɔtwaa Asubɔnten Yordan baa Yudea.
It happened when Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan.
2 Nnipadɔm tu dii nʼakyi, ma ɔsaa wɔn yadeɛ.
Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
3 Farisifoɔ bi ba bɛbisaa no nsɛm bi pɛɛ sɛ wɔnam wɔn nsɛmmisa no so ma ɔka asɛm bi a ɛde no bɛkɔ sɔhwɛ mu. Wɔbisaa no sɛ, “Wopene awaregyaeɛ so anaa?”
And Pharisees came to him, testing him, and saying to him, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce a wife for any reason?"
4 Yesu nso bisaa wɔn sɛ, “Gyama monkenkan Atwerɛ Kronkron no? Wɔatwerɛ wɔ mu sɛ, ‘Mfitiaseɛ no, Onyankopɔn bɔɔ ɔbarima ne ɔbaa!
He answered, and said, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female,
5 Yei enti na ɔbarima bɛgya nʼagya ne ne maame hɔ de ne ho akɔbɔ ne yere ho daa nyinaa no.’
and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife; and the two will become one flesh?'
6 Na wɔn baanu no abɛyɛ ɔhonam korɔ. Enti, deɛ Onyankopɔn aka abom no, ɛnsɛ sɛ onipa tete mu.”
So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no one separate."
7 Farisifoɔ no kɔɔ so bisaa no sɛ, “Adɛn enti na Mose kaa sɛ, sɛ ɔbarima bi pɛ sɛ ɔgyaa ne yere a ɔtumi twerɛ no krataa kɛkɛ, de gyaa no?”
They asked him, "Why then did Moses command us to give her a certificate of divorce, and divorce her?"
8 Yesu buaa wɔn sɛ, “Esiane sɛ na mo akoma apirim no enti na Mose maa awaregyaeɛ ho kwan, na ɛnyɛ adeɛ a Onyankopɔn hyehyɛeɛ.
He said to them, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
9 Na mereka akyerɛ mo sɛ, obiara a ɔbɛgyaa ne yere, a ɛnyɛ sɛ ɔbaa no abɔ adwaman, na ɔbɛsane aware ɔbaa foforɔ no asɛe awadeɛ.”
I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery. And he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery."
10 Yesu asuafoɔ no kaa sɛ, “Sɛ saa na ɛte deɛ a, na ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara ware.”
The disciples said to him, "If this is the case of a husband with a wife, it is not expedient to marry."
11 Yesu buaa wɔn sɛ, “Ɛnyɛ obiara na ɔbɛtumi agye asɛm yi atom, agye wɔn a Onyankopɔn hyɛ wɔn den no nko ara.
But he said to them, "Not everyone can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.
Obiara a ɔbɛtumi no, nni mʼasɛm a maka yi so.”
For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it."
13 Wɔde mmɔfra nkumaa brɛɛ Yesu sɛ ɔmfa ne nsa ngu wɔn so, na ɔmmɔ mpaeɛ mma wɔn. Nanso, asuafoɔ no kaa wɔn a wɔde mmɔfra no baeɛ no anim.
Then little children were brought to him, that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.
14 Yesu kaa sɛ, “Momma mmɔfra no kwan na wɔmmra me nkyɛn, na monnsi wɔn ɛkwan, na yeinom sei na Ɔsoro Ahennie yɛ wɔn dea.”
But Jesus said, "Allow the little children, and do not forbid them to come to me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to ones like these."
15 Na ɔde ne nsa guu wɔn so, hyiraa wɔn ansa na ɔrefiri hɔ akɔ.
He placed his hands on them, and departed from there.
And look, someone came to him and said, "Teacher, what good thing must I do, that I may have everlasting life?" (aiōnios g166)
17 Yesu buaa no sɛ, “Adɛn enti na wobisa me deɛ ɛyɛ papa ho asɛm? Ɔbaako pɛ na ɔyɛ papa. Sɛ wopɛ sɛ wokɔ nkwa mu deɛ a, di mmaransɛm no so.”
He said to him, "Why do you ask me about what is good? No one is good but one. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."
18 Aberanteɛ no nso bisaa no sɛ, “Mmaransɛm no mu deɛ ɛwɔ he?” Yesu buaa no sɛ, “Nni awu. Nsɛe awadeɛ. Mmɔ korɔno. Nni atorɔ.
He said to him, "Which ones?" And Jesus said, "'Do not murder.' 'Do not commit adultery.' 'Do not steal.' 'Do not offer false testimony.'
19 Di wʼagya ne wo maame ni, na dɔ wo yɔnko sɛ wo ho!”
'Honor your father and mother.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
20 Aberanteɛ no nso kaa sɛ, “Medi yeinom nyinaa so pɛpɛɛpɛ. Afei, menyɛ ɛdeɛn?”
The young man said to him, "All these things I have kept. What do I still lack?"
21 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Sɛ wopɛ sɛ woyɛ pɛ a, kɔ na kɔtɔn biribiara a wowɔ, na fa sika a wobɛnya afiri mu no ma ahiafoɔ. Ɛno ansa na wobɛnya ademudeɛ wɔ ɔsoro. Afei bɛdi mʼakyi.”
Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me."
22 Esiane sɛ na saa aberanteɛ yi wɔ ahonyadeɛ bebree enti, ɔtee saa nsɛm yi no, anyɛ no dɛ maa ɔde awerɛhoɔ firii hɔ kɔeɛ.
But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.
23 Afei, Yesu ka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafoɔ no sɛ, “Ɛyɛ den ma osikani sɛ ɔbɛkɔ Ɔsoro Ahennie no mu.
Jesus said to his disciples, "Truly I say to you, it is difficult for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24 Meka meti mu bio sɛ, ɛyɛ mmerɛ sɛ yoma bɛwura paneɛ aniwa mu sene sɛ osikani bɛkɔ Onyankopɔn Ahennie mu!”
Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich person to enter into the kingdom of God."
25 Asuafoɔ no tee saa asɛm yi no, wɔn adwenem yɛɛ wɔn nnaa. Wɔbisaa sɛ, “Na ɛnneɛ hwan na ewiase ha wɔbɛgye no nkwa?”
When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?"
26 Yesu hwɛɛ wɔn buaa sɛ, “Onipa fa mu deɛ, ɛyɛ den; na Onyankopɔn fa mu deɛ, ɛyɛ mmerɛ.”
Looking at them, Jesus said, "With humans this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
27 Petro nso kaa sɛ, “Yɛagya biribiara hɔ abɛdi wʼakyiri; na ɛdeɛn mfasoɔ na yɛbɛnya afiri wʼakyiridie no mu?”
Then Peter answered, "Look, we have left everything, and followed you. What then will we have?"
28 Yesu buaa sɛ, “Me, Agyenkwa no, metena mʼanimuonyam ahennwa no so a, nokorɛm mo mʼasuafoɔ yi nso bɛtena ahennwa dumienu no so na moabu Israel mmusuakuo dumienu no atɛn.
Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 Na obiara a ɔbɛgya ne efie, ne nuammarimanom, ne nuammaanom, nʼagya, ne maame, ne yere, ne mma anaa nʼagyapadeɛ abɛdi mʼakyi no, ɔbɛnya no ɛho mmɔho ɔha, na wanya nkwa a ɛnni awieeɛ nso. (aiōnios g166)
Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
30 Na wɔn a wɔdi ɛkan no mu pii bɛdi akyire, na wɔn a wɔdi akyire no nso mu bi abɛdi ɛkan.”
But many will be last who are first; and first who are last.
