< Marko 15 >

1 Adeɛ kyee anɔpatutuutu no, asɔfoɔ mpanin, Yudafoɔ mpanin, Atwerɛsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfoɔ ne agyinatufoɔ hyia dwenee ɛkwan a wɔde Yesu bɛfa so ho. Wɔkyekyeree no de no kɔhyɛɛ Pilato nsa.
And as soon as it was morning, the chief priests, having held a consultation with the elders and the scribes, and the whole council, bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him up to Pilate.
2 Wɔde no duruu hɔ no, Pilato bisaa no sɛ, “Wone Yudafoɔ ɔhene no anaa?” Yesu buaa sɛ, “Mo na moseɛ.”
And Pilate asked him, Art thou the king of the Jews? And he answering saith to him, I am.
3 Ɛhɔ ara, asɔfoɔ mpanin no kaa nsɛm akɛseakɛseɛ guu ne so, nanso wanka hwee.
And the chief priests brought many charges against him.
4 Pilato bisaa no bio sɛ, “Enti, nsɛm akɛseakɛseɛ a wɔreka gu wo so yi, wonka ho hwee?”
And Pilate asked him again, Dost thou make no answer? See what things they are testifying against thee!
5 Nanso, Yesu anka hwee ma ɛyɛɛ Pilato nwanwa.
But Jesus made no further answer; so that Pilate marveled.
6 Na ɛyɛ Pilato amanneɛ sɛ, afe biara Twam Afahyɛ no mu, ɔgyaa odeduani baako a ɔman no pɛ sɛ wɔgyaa no ma wɔn.
Now at the feast he was wont to release to them one prisoner, whom they might ask.
7 Saa afe no mu, na onipa bi a wɔfrɛ no Baraba no ka nnipa bi a wɔsɔre tiaa aban, nam so dii awu no ho wɔ afiase hɔ.
And there was one named Barabbas, who lay bound with insurgents who had committed murder in the insurrection.
8 Ɛdɔm no kɔɔ Pilato so kɔka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, ɔnyi odeduani baako mma wɔn sɛdeɛ daa ɔyɛ no.
And the multitude, coming up, began to ask him to do as he had been wont to do for them.
9 Pilato bisaa sɛ, “Menyi ‘Yudafoɔ Ɔhene’ no mma mo anaa?”
And Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release to you the king of the Jews?
10 Ɛfiri sɛ, na wahunu sɛ asɔfoɔ mpanin no de ɔtan na atwa asɛm ato Yesu so ɛsiane din a na wagye no enti.
For he knew that for envy the chief priests had delivered him up.
11 Nanso, asɔfoɔ mpanin no tuu dɔm no aso sɛ, sɛ wɔde bɛyi Yesu deɛ, wɔmpere ma wɔnyi Baraba.
But the chief priests stirred up the multitude, that he should rather release to them Barabbas.
12 Enti, Pilato bisaa wɔn sɛ, “Na sɛ meyi Baraba ma mo a, ɛdeɛn na menyɛ saa ɔbarima yi a mofrɛ no mo ɔhene no?”
And Pilate answering again said to them, What then would ye have me do with him whom ye call the king of the Jews?
13 Wɔteateaam sɛ, “Bɔ no asɛnnua mu!”
And they cried out again, Crucify him!
14 Pilato bisaa wɔn bio sɛ, “Adɛn nti? Bɔne bɛn na wayɛ?” Wɔn nyinaa bɔ gyee so sɛ, “Bɔ no asɛnnua mu!”
Then Pilate said to them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more, Crucify him!
15 Afei, Pilato hunuu sɛ ɔyɛ asɛm no hwee a, ɛrenyɛ yie. Afei, na ɔsuro nso sɛ, sɛ anhwɛ a basabasayɛ bɛba enti, ɔgyaa Baraba maa wɔn. Ɔmaa wɔbɔɔ Yesu mmaa, na ɛno akyi no, ɔde no maa wɔn sɛ wɔnkɔbɔ no asɛnnua mu.
And Pilate, wishing to satisfy the multitude, released to them Barabbas; and, when he had scourged Jesus, delivered him up to be crucified.
16 Asraafoɔ no de Yesu kɔɔ amrado aban mu hɔ, ɛnna wɔfrɛɛ asraafoɔ no nyinaa baa hɔ.
And the soldiers led him away into the court, which is the Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.
17 Wɔhyɛɛ no batakari kɔkɔɔ bi, de nkasɛɛ atentene bi nwonoo ɛkyɛ hyɛɛ no.
And they clothe him with purple, and having platted a crown of thorns, they put it on him.
18 Wɔhyɛɛ aseɛ bɔ gyee so, dii ne ho fɛ sɛ, “Yudafoɔ ɔhene, wo nkwa so!”
And they began to salute him: Hail, king of the Jews!
19 Wɔde abaa paa nʼapampam, tetee ntasuo guu ne so, buu no nkotodwe, de dii ne ho fɛw.
And they struck him on the head with a reed, and spit upon him, and kneeling down, did him homage.
20 Wɔdii ne ho fɛ wieeɛ no, wɔworɔɔ batakari kɔkɔɔ no, ɛnna wɔde ɔno ara nʼatadeɛ hyɛɛ no, de no kɔeɛ sɛ wɔrekɔbɔ no asɛnnua mu.
And after they had made sport of him, they stripped him of the purple robe, and put his own garments on him. And they lead him out to crucify him.
21 Wɔrekɔ no, wɔhyiaa ɔbarima bi a wɔfrɛ no Simon a ɔfiri Kirene a ɔyɛ Aleksandro ne Rufo agya wɔ ɛkwan so. Wɔhyɛɛ no ma ɔsoaa Yesu asɛnnua no.
And they compel one Simon a Cyrenaean, who was passing by, coming from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to carry his cross.
22 Wɔde Yesu baa baabi a wɔfrɛ hɔ sɛ Golgota a (nʼasekyerɛ ne Nitire so) hɔ.
And they bring him to the place Golgotha; which is, when interpreted, Place of a Skull.
23 Ɛhɔ na wɔmaa no nsã nwononwono bi sɛ ɔnnom, nanso wannom.
And they gave him wine mingled with myrrh; but he did not take it.
24 Afei, wɔbɔɔ no asɛnnua mu. Yei akyi, wɔbɔɔ nʼatadeɛ no so ntonto.
And they crucify him, and divide his garments, casting lots for them, what each should take.
25 Ɛbɛyɛ anɔpa nnɔnkron na wɔbɔɔ no asɛnnua mu.
And it was the third hour when they crucified him.
26 Asɛm bi a wɔka too no so na wɔtwerɛɛ taree nʼasɛnnua no atifi ka sɛ, Yudafoɔ Ɔhene.
And on the cross the inscription of the charge against him was written: “The king of the Jews.”
27 Ɛda no ara anɔpa, wɔbɔɔ awudifoɔ baanu bi asɛnnua mu kaa Yesu ho. Na ɔbaako sɛn ne nifa so, ɛnna ɔbaako nso sɛn ne benkum so.
And with him they crucify two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left.
28 Yei maa deɛ Atwerɛsɛm no kaa sɛ, “Wɔkan no fraa nnebɔneyɛfoɔ mu” no baa mu.
29 Nnipa a wɔsen faa hɔ no nyinaa wosowosoo wɔn ti, dii ne ho fɛ sɛ, “Ei, wo ni? Ɛnyɛ wo na woseɛ sɛ, wobɛtumi abubu asɔredan na wode nnansa asi no?
And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ha! thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it up in three days,
30 Sɛ wose wo ho yɛ nwanwa a, ɛnneɛ siane firi asɛnnua no so si fam.”
save thyself, and come down from the cross.
31 Saa ɛberɛ no na asɔfoɔ mpanin ne Atwerɛsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfoɔ no nso atwa ahyia hɔ redi Yesu ho fɛw. Wɔkɔɔ so dii ne ho fɛ sɛ, “Ɔgye afoforɔ nanso ɔntumi nnye ne ho!”
In like manner also the chief priests, with the scribes, making sport among themselves, said, He saved others, cannot he save himself?
32 Wɔkɔɔ so dii ne ho fɛ bio sɛ, “Agyenkwa! Yudafoɔ ɔhene! Siane firi asɛnnua no so si fam, na yɛnnye wo nni!” Awudifoɔ a wɔbɔɔ wɔne Yesu asɛnnua mu no mpo dii ne ho fɛ bi.
Let the Christ, the king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him were reviling him.
33 Ɛfiri owigyinaeɛ kɔpem nnɔnmiɛnsa no, esum duruu asase no so nyinaa.
And when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
34 Yesu de nne kɛseɛ teaam sɛ, “Eli, Eli, lama sabaktani?” Ase ne sɛ, “Me Onyankopɔn, Me Onyankopɔn, adɛn enti na woagya me?”
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani? which is, when interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
35 Wɔn a wɔgyina hɔ no bi a wɔtee deɛ ɔkaeɛ no kaa sɛ, “Montie sɛ ɔrefrɛ Elia.”
And some of those who stood by, when they heard it, said, See! he is calling for Elijah.
36 Wɔn mu baako tuu mmirika, kɔfaa sapɔ bi, de bɔɔ nsã nwononwono bi mu, de tuaa dua bi ano, de brɛɛ Yesu sɛ ɔnnom. Ɔkaa sɛ, “Momma yɛnhwɛ sɛ Elia bɛba abɛyi no asi fam anaa!”
And one ran and filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink, saying, Hold! Let us see whether Elijah will come to take him down.
37 Afei, Yesu de nne kɛseɛ teaam bio, na ɔgyaa ne honhom mu wuiɛ.
And Jesus, having uttered a loud cry, expired.
38 Ɛhɔ ara, ntoma a ɛtwa asɔredan no mu no mu suanee mmienu firi soro kɔsii fam.
And the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom.
39 Asraafoɔ ɔha so panin a na ɔgyina hɔ no hunuu ɛkwan a Yesu faa so wuiɛ no, ɔkaa sɛ, “Ampa ara, onipa yi yɛ Onyankopɔn Ba!”
And the centurion who stood over against him, seeing that he so expired, said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
There were also women looking on from a distance; among whom was Mary the Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
41 Ɛberɛ a na Yesu wɔ Galilea no, saa mmaa yi dii nʼakyi somm no. Saa ara nso na na nnipa bi a wɔdii nʼakyi baa Yerusalem no bi nso wɔ hɔ.
who, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and rendered him their services; and many other women who came up with him to Jerusalem.
42 Ɛduruu anwummerɛ no, ɛsiane sɛ na adeɛ kye a ɛyɛ Homeda no enti,
And evening having now come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
43 ɔbadwani animuonyamfoɔ bi a, wɔfrɛ no Yosef a ɔfiri Arimatea a, na ɔretwɛn ɛberɛ a Onyankopɔn Ahennie no bɛba no de akokoɔduru kɔɔ Pilato hɔ kɔsrɛɛ no sɛ, ɔmfa Yesu amu no mma no.
Joseph of Arimathaea, an honorable councilor, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, came, and boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.
44 Ɛberɛ a Pilato tee sɛ Yesu awu no, wannye anni, enti ɔfrɛɛ Roma asraafoɔ panin a na ɔhwɛ hɔ no bisaa no.
And Pilate wondered that he was already dead; and calling to him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been long dead.
45 Asraafoɔ panin no kaa sɛ wawu no, Pilato maa Yosef ho ɛkwan sɛ ɔnkɔfa amu no.
And having been informed by the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.
46 Yosef kɔtɔɔ nwera, yii Yesu amu no firii asɛnnua no so, de nwera no kyekyeree no, ɔde no kɔtoo ɔboda bi a wɔatwa mu, piree ɛboɔ kɛseɛ bi hinii ano.
And having bought fine linen, he took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a tomb which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone to the door of the tomb.
47 Na Maria Magdalene ne Yosef ne maame Maria wɔ hɔ bi, na wɔhunuu faako a wɔde Yesu amu no toeɛ.
And Mary the Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where he was laid.
