< Luka 5 >
1 Ɛda bi a Yesu reka asɛmpa wɔ Genesaret ɔtadeɛ ho no, nnipakuo bɛkyeree ne so sɛ wɔrebɛtie Onyankopɔn asɛm.
It came to pass then in the crowd pressing on Him (also *N(K)O*) to hear the word of God and He himself was already standing by the lake of Gennesaret
2 Ɔhunuu akodoɔ mmienu a afarefoɔ bi a wɔrehohoro wɔn asau wɔ mu no agya wɔ ɔtadeɛ no ho.
and He saw two boats already lying by the lake. but the fishermen from them having gone out (were washing *N(k)O*) the nets.
3 Yesu kɔtenaa kodoɔ no baako a na ɛyɛ Simon dea no mu. Ɔka kyerɛɛ Simon sɛ ɔmpia nkɔ nsuo no mu kakra sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, ɔbɛtumi afiri hɔ akasa akyerɛ nnipa no.
Having climbed then into one of the boats which was (of the *k*) Simon’s, He asked him from the land to put off a little. (and *ko*) Having sat down (then *no*) from the boat He was teaching the crowds.
4 Yesu wiee nʼasɛnka no, ɔka kyerɛɛ Simon sɛ, “Hare kɔ baabi a emu dɔ kakra na monkɔgu mo asau no na mobɛyi nam bebree.”
When then He left off speaking He said to Simon; do put off into the deep and do lower the nets of you for a catch.
5 Simon kaa sɛ, “Owura, yɛyɛɛ adwuma anadwo mu no nyinaa yɛannya hwee, nanso wʼasɛm enti, yɛbɛgu yɛn asau no.”
And answering (*k*) Simon said (to him: *ko*) Master, through whole (*k*) night having toiled no [thing] have we taken, at however the declaration of You I will let down (the *N(k)O*) (nets. *N(K)O*)
6 Wɔguu asau no na wɔyii nam bebree maa anka mpo asau no retete.
And this having done they enclosed a multitude of fishes great; were breaking now (the *N(k)O*) (nets *N(K)O*) of them.
7 Wɔfrɛɛ wɔn mfɛfoɔ a wɔwɔ kodoɔ baako no mu no ma wɔbɛboaa wɔn twee asau no. Ɛnam no yɛɛ akodoɔ mmienu no nyinaa ma ma a anka ɛreyɛ amemem mpo.
And they beckoned to the partners (to the *k*) in the other boat having come to help them. and they came and filled both the boats so that [were] sinking they.
8 Simon Petro hunuu deɛ aba no, ɔbuu Yesu nkotodwe kaa sɛ, “Me wura, mesrɛ wo, firi me nkyɛn kɔ na meyɛ ɔdebɔneyɛfoɔ a mensɛ sɛ wobɛn me.”
Having seen now Simon Peter fell at the knees (*k*) of Jesus saying; do depart from me, for a man sinful am I, Lord.
9 Ɛnam dodoɔ a wɔyiiɛ no yɛɛ Petro ne nʼahokafoɔ no nwanwa.
Amazement for laid hold on him and on all those with him at the catch of the fish (which *N(k)O*) they had taken,
10 Saa ara nso na ɛyɛɛ Yakobo ne Yohane, Sebedeo mma no nso nwanwa. Yesu ka kyerɛɛ Petro sɛ, “Nsuro, ɛfiri ɛnnɛ, wobɛyɛ nnipayifoɔ.”
likewise now also James and John [the] sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And said to Simon Jesus; Not do fear; from now on men you will be catching.
11 Wɔde akodoɔ no bɛduruu nsuo no ano hɔ no, wɔgyaa wɔn nneɛma nyinaa hɔ bɛdii nʼakyi.
And having brought the boats to the land, having left (all [things] *N(k)O*) they followed Him.
12 Ɛda bi a Yesu wɔ kuro bi mu no, ɔbarima bi a kwata ayɛ ne honam nyinaa bɛkotoo nʼanim srɛɛ no sɛ, “Owura, mesrɛ wo, sɛ ɛyɛ wo pɛ a, sa me yadeɛ.”
And it came to pass in being Him in one of the cities that behold a man full of leprosy; (and *ko*) having seen (then *no*) Jesus, having fallen upon [his] face begged Him saying; Lord, if You shall be willing, You are able me to cleanse.
13 Ɛhɔ ara Yesu tenee ne nsa de kaa no kaa sɛ, “Aane, ɛyɛ me pɛ. Wo ho mfi.” Amonom hɔ ara, ne ho teeɛ.
And having stretched out the hand He touched him (saying; *N(k)O*) I am willing, do be cleansed. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
14 Yesu hyɛɛ no sɛ, “Wo ne obiara nni wʼayaresa yi ho nkɔmmɔ. Kɔ na fa wo ho kɔkyerɛ ɔsɔfoɔ na bɔ afɔdeɛ a Mose hyɛɛ sɛ akwatafoɔ a wɔn ho ate no mmɔ sɛ adansedie no.”
And He himself ordered him no one to tell But having gone do show yourself to the priest and do offer for the cleansing of you even as commanded Moses for a testimony to them.
15 Yesu anwanwadwuma a ɔyɛeɛ yi maa ne ho asɛm trɛɛ mpɔtam hɔ nyinaa maa nnipa bebree bɛtiee no pɛɛ sɛ ɔsa wɔn yadeɛ nso.
Was spread abroad now still more the report concerning Him; and were coming crowds great to hear and to be healed (by him *K*) from the sicknesses of them;
16 Nanso na ɔtaa twe ne ho kɔ ɛserɛ so kɔbɔ mpaeɛ.
He Himself now was withdrawing into the wilderness and praying.
17 Ɛberɛ bi a Yesu rekyerɛkyerɛ no, na Farisifoɔ ne Atwerɛsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfoɔ bi a wɔfiri Galilea ne Yudea nkuro ahodoɔ so ne Yerusalem nso wɔ hɔ bi a wɔretie no. Saa ɛberɛ no, na Onyankopɔn ayaresa tumi ahyɛ no ma.
And it came to pass on one of the days that He himself was teaching; and there were sitting by Pharisees and teachers of the law who were already coming out of every village of Galilee and of Judea and of Jerusalem, And [the] power of [the] Lord was with to heal (Him. *N(K)O*)
18 Mmarima bi baa hɔ a wɔso obubuafoɔ bi.
And behold men carrying upon a mat a man who was paralyzed, and they were seeking him to bring in and to place him before Him.
19 Esiane sɛ na wɔntumi mfa nnipakuo no mu nkɔ Yesu nkyɛn enti, wɔforoo ɛdan a Yesu wɔ mu no kɔtuu atifi tokuro, de obubuafoɔ a ɔda ne kɛtɛ so no faa mu gyaagyaa no brɛoo, kɔtoo Yesu anim.
And not having found (through *k*) what way they may bring in him on account of the crowd, having gone up on the housetop through the tiles they let down him with the mat into the midst before Jesus.
20 Yesu hunuu gyidie a wɔwɔ no, ɔka kyerɛɛ ɔyarefoɔ no sɛ, “Onua, wɔde wo bɔne akyɛ wo.”
And having seen the faith of them He said (to him: *k*) Man, have been forgiven you the sins of you.
21 Farisifoɔ no ne Atwerɛsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfoɔ no tee asɛm a Yesu kaeɛ no, wɔbisabisaa wɔn ho wɔn ho sɛ, “Hwan ne saa onipa yi a ɔreka abususɛm yi? Hwan na ɔtumi sɛ ɔde bɔne kyɛ ka Onyankopɔn ho?”
And began to reason the scribes and the Pharisees saying; Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who is able sins (to forgive *N(k)O*) only except [the] sole God?
22 Esiane sɛ Yesu hunuu deɛ wɔdwennwene enti, ɔbuaa wɔn sɛ, “Adɛn enti na modwene sɛ asɛm a mekaeɛ yi yɛ abususɛm?”
Having known now Jesus the reasonings of them answering He said to them; Why reason you in the hearts of you?
23 Yesu bisaa wɔn sɛ, “Deɛ ɛwɔ he na ɛyɛ den, sɛ wɔbɛka akyerɛ obi sɛ, wɔde wo bɔne akyɛ wo anaasɛ, wɔbɛka sɛ, sɔre na nante?
Which is easier, to say; Have been forgiven you the sins of you, or to say; (do arise *N(k)O*) and do walk?
24 Na sɛ ɛbɛyɛ na mobɛhunu sɛ Onipa Ba no wɔ tumi sɛ ɔde bɔne kyɛ wɔ asase so enti.” Mereka akyerɛ wo sɛ, “Sɔre yi wo kɛtɛ na kɔ efie!”
That however you may know that the Son of Man authority has on the earth to forgive sins, He said to the [one] paralyzed; To you I say, (do arise *N(k)O*) and having taken up the mat of you, do go to the house of you.
25 Amonom hɔ ara, ɔsɔreeɛ, yii ne kɛtɛ kɔɔ efie. Ɔrekɔ no nyinaa na ɔreyi Onyankopɔn ayɛ.
And immediately having stood up before them, having taken up [that] on (which *N(k)O*) he was lying, he departed to the home of him glorifying God.
26 Wɔn a wɔgyina hɔ no ho dwirii wɔn. Ehu kaa wɔn. Wɔyii Onyankopɔn ayɛ kaa sɛ, “Ɛnnɛ deɛ, yɛahunu anwanwadeɛ.”
And amazement seized all, and they were glorifying God and were filled with fear saying that We have seen remarkable things today.
27 Yei akyi no, Yesu firii hɔ kɔhunuu ɔtogyeni Lewi sɛ ɔte atogyeɛ. Ɔhunuu no no, ɔka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Bɛdi mʼakyi.”
And after these things He went forth and He saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax booth and He said to him; do follow Me.
28 Ɛhɔ ara, Lewi sɔre, gyaa ne nneɛma nyinaa hɔ dii nʼakyi.
And having left (all [things] *N(k)O*) having arisen (he was following *N(k)O*) Him.
29 Akyire yi, Lewi too ɛpono wɔ ne fie maa Yesu. Togyefoɔ ne nnipa ahodoɔ bebree kɔɔ apontoɔ no ase.
And made a banquet great (*k*) Levi for Him in the house of him, and there was a multitude great of tax collectors and others who were with them reclining.
30 Farisifoɔ ne Atwerɛsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfoɔ no hunuu sɛ Yesu ne saa nnipa no ato nsa redidi no, wɔnwiinwii bisaa no sɛ, “Adɛn enti na wo ne ɔtogyefoɔ ne nnebɔneyɛfoɔ ato nsa redidi?”
And were grumbling the Pharisees and the scribes of them at the disciples of Him saying; Because of why with the tax collectors and sinners do you eat and drink?
31 Yesu buaa wɔn sɛ, “Wɔn a wɔyare no na ɔyaresafoɔ ho hia wɔn na ɛnyɛ wɔn a wɔnyare.
And answering Jesus said to them; No need have those being well of a physician but those sick being.
32 Mamma sɛ merebɛfrɛ ateneneefoɔ na mmom mebɛfrɛɛ nnebɔneyɛfoɔ sɛ wɔnsakyera wɔn adwene.”
Not I have come to call righteous [ones] but sinners to repentance.
33 Nnipa no kɔɔ so bisaa no bio sɛ, “Adɛn enti na Yohane Osubɔni asuafoɔ ne Farisifoɔ asuafoɔ no deɛ wɔtaa di mmuada, na wʼasuafoɔ deɛ daa wɔdidi na wɔnom?”
And they said to Him; (through why *KO*) The disciples of John fast often and prayers make, likewise also those of the Pharisees, those however of You eat and drink.
34 Yesu nso bisaa wɔn sɛ, “Ɛho hia sɛ wɔn a wɔn ani agye, anaasɛ wɔn a wɔahyia wɔn ayeforɔ ase no di mmuada, wɔ ɛberɛ a ayeforɔ kunu no wɔ wɔn nkyɛn anaa?
And (Jesus *no*) said to them; Not are you able the sons of the bridechamber in which [time] the bridegroom with them is, to make (to fast? *N(k)O*)
35 Nanso, da bi bɛba a wɔbɛfa ayeforɔkunu no afiri wɔn nkyɛn; saa ɛberɛ no na wɔbɛdi mmuada.”
Will come however days also when may be taken away from them the bridegroom, then they will fast in those days.
36 Yesu buu wɔn bɛ yi sɛ, “Obi mmfa ntoma foforɔ ntare ntoma dada mu. Ɔyɛ saa a foforɔ no bɛma dada no asuane. Afei, ɛbɛma nsonsonoeɛ ada foforɔ no ne dada no ntam.
He was speaking now also a parable to them that No [one] a piece (of *no*) a garment new (having torn *NO*) puts [it] on a garment old; lest then except indeed also the new (will tear, *N(k)O*) and to the old not (it will match *N(k)O*) (the *no*) piece of the new.
37 Obiara nso mmfa nsã foforɔ ngu mmoa nwoma nsã nkotokuo dada mu. Ɔyɛ saa a, nsã no bɛpaapae nkotokuo no na ahwie agu na nkotokuo no nso asɛe.
And no [one] puts wine new into wineskins old; lest then except indeed will burst the wine (*no*) new the wineskins and it will be spilled out, and the wineskins will be destroyed;
38 Yei enti, nsã nkotokuo foforɔ mu nko ara na ɛsɛ sɛ wɔde nsã foforɔ gugu.
But wine new into wineskins fresh must be put (and both are preserved. *KO*)
39 Obi nnnom nsã dada nnwie mmisa nsã foforɔ ase. Deɛ ɔnom no ka sɛ, ‘dada no na ɛyɛ.’”
And no [one] having drunk old [wine] (immediately *K*) desires new, he says for; The old (good *N(k)O*) is.
