< Luka 10 >

1 Yei akyi, Yesu yii nʼakyidifoɔ no mu aduɔson somaa wɔn baanu baanu kɔɔ nkuro ne nkuraa a akyire no ɔbɛkɔ hɔ no so.
Now after these things the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself was about to come.
2 Ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Otwa adwuma no dɔɔso, nanso adwumayɛfoɔ no sua. Enti, monsrɛ adwumawura no na ɔmma adwumayɛfoɔ bebree mmra ne twa adwuma no mu.
And he said unto them, The harvest is plenteous, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Monkɔ, na meresoma mo sɛ nnwan akɔ mpataku mu.
Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves.
4 Mommfa sika, akwantubɔtɔ anaa mpaboa; na monnkyea obiara nso a mobɛhyia no wɔ ɛkwan so.
Carry no purse, no wallet, no shoes: and salute no man on the way.
5 “Sɛ mokɔ efie biara mu a, monni ɛkan nkyea efie hɔfoɔ no sɛ, ‘Asomdwoeɛ nka mo!’
And into whatsoever house ye shall enter, first say, Peace [be] to this house.
6 Na sɛ asomdwoeɛ ba bi wɔ hɔ a, mo asomdwoeɛ bɛba ne so; na sɛ obi a ɔte saa nni hɔ a, mo asomdwoeɛ bɛsane aba mo nkyɛn.
And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him: but if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 Efie biara a mokɔ mu no, momma ɛhɔ nyɛ mo atenaeɛ; aduane biara a wɔde bɛma mo no, monni, ɛfiri sɛ ɛsɛ sɛ odwumayɛfoɔ biara nya nʼadwumayɛ so akatua; monnni atutena wɔ afie mu.
And in that same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 “Na sɛ mokɔ kuro biara mu na wɔgye mo fɛw so a, aduane biara a wɔde bɛma mo no, monni.
And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 Monsa kuro no mu ayarefoɔ yadeɛ, na monka nkyerɛ ɛhɔfoɔ nyinaa sɛ, ‘Onyankopɔn Ahennie no abɛn mo.’
and heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
10 Nanso, sɛ mokɔ kuro biara mu na wɔannye mo fɛw so a, monkɔ ne mmɔntene so nkɔpae mu nka sɛ,
But into whatsoever city ye shall enter, and they receive you not, go out into the streets thereof and say,
11 ‘Mo kurom ha mfuturo a ɛwɔ yɛn nan ase mpo, yɛreporoporo agu, de atia mo; na mmom monhunu pefee sɛ, Onyankopɔn Ahennie no abɛn.’
Even the dust from your city, that cleaveth to our feet, we do wipe off against you: howbeit know this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh.
12 Mereka akyerɛ mo sɛ, saa kuro no, asɛm a ɛbɛto wɔn Atemmuo da no bɛsene deɛ ɛtoo Sodom no.
I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
13 “Korasin, due! Betsaida, due! Anwanwadeɛ a meyɛɛ wɔ mo mu no, sɛ meyɛɛ wɔ Tiro ne Sidon a, anka ɛhɔfoɔ no de awerɛhoɔ ne ahonuo asakyera wɔn adwene dada.
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which were done in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 Atemmuo da no, asɛm a ɛbɛto wɔn no bɛsene deɛ ɛbɛto Tiro ne Sidon.
Howbeit it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment, than for you.
15 Na wo Kapernaum, wopɛ sɛ woma wo ho so, nanso wɔbɛbrɛ wo ase de wo akɔ asaman. (Hadēs g86)
And thou, Capernaum, shalt thou be exalted unto heaven? thou shalt be brought down unto Hades. (Hadēs g86)
16 “Obiara a ɔtie mo no tie me, na deɛ ɔpo mo no po me, na deɛ ɔpo me no nso po deɛ ɔsomaa me no.”
He that heareth you heareth me; and he that rejecteth you rejecteth me; and he that rejecteth me rejecteth him that sent me.
17 Aduɔson no sane de anigyeɛ baeɛ bɛbɔɔ amaneɛ sɛ, “Awurade, wo din enti, ahonhommɔne mpo abrɛ wɔn ho ase ama yɛn.”
And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us in thy name.
18 Na ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Mehunuu sɛ ɔbonsam rete afiri ɔsoro sɛ anyinam abɛhwe fam.
And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven.
19 Mama mo tumi ne ahoɔden a mode bɛtiatia awɔ ne anyanyankyerɛ ne ɔtamfoɔ no tumi biara a ɔwɔ so, na biribiara nso rentumi mo.
Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.
20 Nanso mommma mo ani nnye sɛ ahonhommɔne brɛ wɔn ho ase ma mo, na mmom, momma mo ani nnye sɛ wɔatwerɛ mo din wɔ ɔsoro.”
Howbeit in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
21 Saa ɛberɛ no ara mu, Yesu de Honhom Kronkron mu anigyeɛ bɔɔ mpaeɛ sɛ, “Agya, ɔsoro ne asasewura, meda wo ase sɛ wode saa nneɛma yi ahinta wɔn a wɔsusu sɛ wɔyɛ anyansafoɔ, na mmom woada nokorɛ no adi akyerɛ wɔn a wɔde ahobrɛaseɛ gye wo di sɛ mmɔfra no. Nanso, Agya, wo pɛ mu na woma ɛbaa saa.
In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes: yea, Father; for so it was well-pleasing in thy sight.
22 “Mʼagya de nneɛma nyinaa ahyɛ me nsa; na obiara nnim Ɔba no, gye Agya no. Saa ara nso na obiara nnim Agya no, gye Ɔba no ne wɔn a Ɔba no bɛda Agya no adi akyerɛ wɔn no.”
All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth who the Son is, save the Father; and who the Father is, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal [him].
23 Ɛkaa ɔne nʼasuafoɔ no, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Nhyira ne aniwa a ɛhunu deɛ mohunu!
And turning to the disciples, he said privately, Blessed [are] the eyes which see the things that ye see:
24 Ɛfiri sɛ, adiyifoɔ ne ahene pii pɛɛ sɛ anka wɔhunu deɛ mohunu yi na wɔte deɛ mote yi, nanso wɔanhunu na wɔante.”
for I say unto you, that many prophets and kings desired to see the things which ye see, and saw them not; and to hear the things which ye hear, and heard them not.
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
26 Yesu nso bisaa no sɛ, “Ɛdeɛn na wɔatwerɛ wɔ Mose mmara no mu? Na wote aseɛ sɛn?”
And he said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 Ɔbuaa no sɛ, “Mmara no ka sɛ, ‘Fa wʼakoma, ne wo kra, ne wʼahoɔden, ne wʼadwene nyinaa dɔ Awurade, wo Onyankopɔn, na dɔ wo yɔnko sɛ wo ho!’”
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Woabua no yie. Yɛ yeinom na wobɛnya nkwa.”
And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
29 Nanso, ɔbarima no pɛɛ sɛ ɔkyerɛ sɛ ɔdi mmara no nyinaa so enti, ɔbisaa Yesu sɛ, “Hwan ne me yɔnko?”
But he, desiring to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
30 Yesu nso maa no mfatoho bi sɛ, “Ɛda bi na ɔbarima bi retu ɛkwan firi Yerusalem akɔ Yeriko. Na ɔnam ɛkwan so no, ɔkɔtɔɔ akwanmukafoɔ mu na wɔgyee ne ho nneɛma nyinaa, hwee no, pirapiraa no ma ɔtɔɔ baha, gyaa no too kwankyɛn kɔeɛ.
Jesus made answer and said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho; and he fell among robbers, which both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 Ankyɛre biara, Yudani ɔsɔfoɔ bi bɛpuee ne so, nanso ɔmane faa nkyɛn kɔeɛ.
And by chance a certain priest was going down that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 Saa ara nso na Lewini bi nso bɛpuee ne so mane faa nkyɛn.
And in like manner a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side.
33 Ankyɛre biara na Samariani bi nso bɛpuee hɔ. Ɔhunuu no no, ɔyɛɛ no mmɔbɔ.
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion,
34 Ɔkɔkotoo ne nkyɛn, hohoroo nʼapirakuro no anim, de aduro guguu mu, kyekyereeɛ. Afei, ɔmaa no so de no tenaa nʼafunumu so dii aboa no nkyɛn de no kɔɔ ahɔhobea bi hwɛɛ no anadwo mu no nyinaa.
and came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on [them] oil and wine; and he set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 Adeɛ kyeeɛ no, ɔgyaa ahɔhobea sohwɛfoɔ no sika a ɛbɛso no hwɛ sɛ ɔmfa nhwɛ no. Ɔsane hyɛɛ no bɔ sɛ, ‘Ɛka foforɔ biara a wobɛbɔ wɔ ne ho no, mɛba abɛtua.’
And on the morrow he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, I, when I come back again, will repay thee.
36 “Afei, saa nnipa baasa yi mu hwan na ɔyɛɛ ne yɔnko?”
Which of these three, thinkest thou, proved neighbour unto him that fell among the robbers?
37 Mmaranimfoɔ no buaa sɛ, “Deɛ ɔhunuu opirafoɔ no mmɔbɔ no.” Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Wo nso, kɔ na kɔyɛ saa ara.”
And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. And Jesus said unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
38 Ɛbaa sɛ Yesu ne nʼasuafoɔ rekɔ Yerusalem no, wɔkɔduruu akuraa bi ase. Wɔduruu hɔ no, ɔbaa bi a wɔfrɛ no Marta de no kɔɔ ne fie.
Now as they went on their way, he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
39 Marta nuabaa bi a wɔfrɛ no Maria tenaa fam wɔ Yesu nkyɛn tiee no.
And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at the Lord’s feet, and heard his word.
40 Saa ɛberɛ no, Marta a nʼani abere reyɛ aduane no baa Yesu nkyɛn bɛka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Awurade, mayɛ adwuma abrɛ enti ka kyerɛ Maria na ɔmmɛsɔ me mu.”
But Martha was cumbered about much serving; and she came up to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister did leave me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 Awurade buaa no sɛ, “Marta, Marta, wodwennwene ha wo ho wɔ nneɛma pii ho.
But the Lord answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art anxious and troubled about many things:
42 Adeɛ baako pɛ na ɛhia; ɛno na Maria afa no; na wɔrennye mfiri ne nsam.”
but one thing is needful: for Mary hath chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
