< 3 Mose 12 >
1 Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Mose sɛ ɔnhyɛ Israelfoɔ mmara sɛ,
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
2 “Sɛ ɔbaa bi wo ɔbabarima a, ne ho nnte nnanson, te sɛ deɛ ɔkɔ afikyire a ne ho nteɛ no ara.
“Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, A woman when she gives seed, and has borne a male, then she has been unclean [for] seven days; she is unclean according to the days of separation for her sickness;
3 Ne nnawɔtwe so no, ɛsɛ sɛ wɔtwa abarimaa no twetia.
and in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin is circumcised;
4 Na nnafua aduasa mmiɛnsa a ɛda nʼanim a ɔde rete ne ho no, ɛnsɛ sɛ ɔsɔ biribiara a ɛyɛ kronkron mu na ɔnni ho kwan sɛ ɔkɔ hyiadan mu nso.
and she abides in the blood of her cleansing [for] thirty-three days; she does not come against any holy thing, and she does not go into the sanctuary, until the fullness of the days of her cleansing.
5 Sɛ ɔbaa bi wo ɔbabaa a, ne ho nnte nnawɔtwe mmienu, te sɛ deɛ ɔkɔ afikyire a ne ho nteɛ no ara. Afei ɛsɛ sɛ ɔtwɛn nnafua aduosia nsia ma ne ho twa.
And if she bears a female, then she has been unclean [for] two weeks, as in her separation; and she abides by the blood of her cleansing [for] sixty-six days.
6 “Sɛ saa ahoteɛ nna yi twam a (mmara a ɛdi so yi ka ɔbaa a wawo abarimaa anaa abaayewa ho asɛm), ɛsɛ sɛ ɔde odwammaa a wadi afe bɛbɔ ɔhyeɛ afɔdeɛ na ɔde aborɔnoma anaa aturukuku ba bɛbɔ bɔne ho afɔdeɛ. Ɛsɛ sɛ ɔde wɔn kɔ Ahyiaeɛ Ntomadan no ano kɔma ɔsɔfoɔ no,
And in the fullness of the days of her cleansing for son or for daughter she brings in a lamb, a son of a year, for a burnt-offering, and a young pigeon or a turtle-dove for a sin-offering, to the opening of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest;
7 na ɔsɔfoɔ no de ama Awurade de ayɛ mpatadeɛ ama ɛna no; ɛba saa a, ne ho te bio wɔ nʼawoɔ mu mogyaguo ho. “Yei ne awoɔ akyi ahyɛdeɛ.
and he has brought it near before YHWH, and has made atonement for her, and she has been cleansed from the fountain of her blood; this [is] the law of her who is bearing, in regard to a male or to a female.
8 Na sɛ ɔyɛ ohiani a ɔrennya odwammaa no a, ɛnneɛ, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔde mmorɔnoma mmienu anaa nturukuku mma mmienu ba. Wɔde baako bɛbɔ ɔhyeɛ afɔdeɛ na wɔde baako abɔ bɔne ho afɔdeɛ. Ɔsɔfoɔ no de yeinom bɛyɛ mpatadeɛ ama no, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a ne ho bɛte bio.”
And if her hand does not find the sufficiency of a sheep, then she has taken two turtle-doves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt-offering and one for a sin-offering, and the priest has made atonement for her, and she has been cleansed.”
